Mine is the same story at LB.. I was calling out. interrupted .. I paid my bill on Monday via computer.
thinking maybe it had not been posted I went to desk to get conf. # .
Again I called the number I was calling in the beginning and a garbled message said call
1-800-353-3300...
So then I called  the number they said call 1-800-353-3300 and it was a sex line.
I hung up and called Verizon and they were not open..

Looked the number up and found a lot of complaints.. HOW can they break into a call you
are placing to give you a number to call a sex line.. it there a law against it..???
why don't you make sex line one of the choices for call type???????

This one I received on my answering machine claiming to be from Verizon Wireless. Told me to call this number. When I did a somewhat garbled message told me to call 1-800-353-3300. Turned out to be a phone sex line. I hung up immediately and contacted Verizon who said this call did NOT come from them.
