Another call from these scammers  It never ends.

This guy called me today. called me by someone else last name. told him I was not that person.
Did not stop him from saying we are going to be doing work around your street. We'll set up a man coming over in the morning for repairs to your house. I said right away. I don't have a house. are they with the Management company?
He kept talking about installing new winders. I told him again you must be with the management company right?
He added right. just to talk me for my address. I ask are you sure you wanting a address? he said yes.
I gave him a address alright. The address to the Orange County California Police Station. Told him to drive around in the back and if you see my black and white car I am home then. I added I live in a very bad place that is way we have bars on the windows.
Make sure to come inside and show my sister your ID. and Ask for my by name.
I said I'll spell it for you.
KissMyAss is my first name. Last name is A***OLE
He repeated the spelling to my first and last name.
Dumb a** is going to the police station first think in the morning.
Wait until he walks in and ask for me by name.

Phone screen displayed 800 SERVICE and this number. It rang once and stopped. No message left. I use a Digitone call blocker and was surprised the phone rang even once. Usually the device drops the call immediately.

Forget it.  The gubermint doesn't give a crap about you.  The DNC list is just there to shut you up and make you think they are doing something.

Get a good call blocker...I use a Panasonic phone system that has a 250 number capacity.  Works great.

After a long delay the robo caller said "goodbye" and hung up. I called this number back and it is a fake number.

MCL -- Dropping my land line might be an option. Or just disable the ringer bell and only use it for outbound calls.

The phone companies better wake up or they will soon go out of business. If 80 percent of their traffic is scumbag fraud callers who wants to pay monthly for that?

Received call at 8:22 AM Monday morning.  Left no message.  I filed complaint with FCC as this caller repeatedly bothers me here at home.  Suggest everyone use FCC Complaint link above to file; the more complaints the more likely the FCC might take action.

Hangup call today at 12:50 pm.
Whenever I see "unavailable" on caller ID, it just means that I am too.

Getting close to dropping my LAN line  because of  these type calls

I called them back at 888-252-3159 and after the recording, pressed zero. You will hear some music and very soon after a live person will pickup. Most of the time it will be a guy named "Chad". After he speaks, I hang up. I did this 3 or 4 times and each time he got more and more pissed.

If you press any of the other options, you will get put on hold and then they say the mailbox is full and then disconnect you.

Unfortunately I have some time on my hands and was able to do this. If some of you can do this maybe they will think twice about bugging people.

I've seen this number on my caller ID in the past few weeks when I'm either not around or didn't pick up the phone and they don't leave a message. I figures it was some 3rd world contractor using a spoofed number. Who in their right mind would trust an outfit like that to work on a valuable possession like a house.

My number is on the "do not call" list and I should not be getting calls from this number.

I got a call from this but the bad thing I gave up my home address. is this something that I hav e to worry?

I absolutely agree and you are totally correct.  Let's all petition EVERY Congressperson, Senator, and the White House to end this form of DOMESTIC TERRORISM, which I believe this is and put the FBI and the NSA to some use besides harassing innocent citizens and maybe some guilty ones.  Let's clean up this mess once and for all.  I've been at it for years but feel like a lone cry in the wilderness.

Six minutes later that called back again.  I heard someone call for my spouse's name.  This time it was a woman.  I almost felt like playing with her, asking if she was a call girl.  (get the pun?)  but I just hung up the phone.  Boy, they are so tempting to play with.  *57 and *69 resulted in the same as above.

They called and there was no one there and as I was hanging up I heard someone ask for my spouse mispronouncing his whole name, so I knew it wasn't anyone who knew him.  I hung up after they did.  Then I did a *57 to trace and a *69 to get "THIS NUMBER IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE."  This sounded like a real phone company recording.  So,

First off - disagree with 'irritated' (above) pointing out Rahn Equipment Co as the perpetrator - this is a SPOOFED NUMBER - meaning it was most likely previously a number Rahn had and gave up and is now being used by the forces of evil that call us daily selling 'air duct cleaning' 'construction services' 'HARP help' or whatever bullsh*t they dream up to scam us on. - Please don't pick on this mom & pop because the scumbags of the earth are spoofing their old number (dial the 800 number and you'll see that it doesn't work).

Second - I completely agree - if NSA were really great at their job, it would put an end to these jackholes that terrorize our homes with repeated calls from jerks who pray on elderly and the unsuspecting innocents. Why don't they work in collusion with ATT/Verizon/etc like they do to get our records and trace and eliminate these scumbags?

man called my phone saying he talked to someone in the house a while ago and asked if we wanted to do any new improvements. Said that we werent interested and he told me not to hang up. I said that i had to go and he said that i couldn't. FINALLY i got fed up, said we were not interested and hung up.

Fast talking offering home improvement projects. I feel I was politely telling him no interest  but he hung up on me. Ugh
