This is a very valid number for Alliance One, A Debt Collection Agency. If they are calling you and the person doesn't live there and you don't know the person, Tell them such. If they call again, Ask for their complete address. They are required to give this to you under the Fair Debt Collections Practices act. Send the a certified Cease and Desist letter stating that they are not to call your number again. They must abide by the letter. If they fail to, they can be fined and you may possibly recieve compensation for the harassment.

A most obnoxious scam.

They call from 800-254-9917, but then say I should call some person at 253-620-7329. Now I know they're Alliance 1. They never say who they are, but I found out they were reporting incorrect info on my credit report, which I just got corrected. Don't know why they think I owe them money. Going to block them from my number.

Calling for person who does not live here - has called numerous times.
| Tom O 2013-02-08 00:27:17 Unknown |
They just called at 4:20 pm. I don't answer "unknown" calls.
Consarn idiots are a pain in the foot. They're like havin' mice in the feed, or a skonk under the house!

This company keeps calling, asking sometimes for someone called Capri Sun (Possibly Caprese Son, or something similar. Hard to tell when it's an automated system), or on other days, Thomasy Emeril (Ameral, or something similar). Neither of these people live here, nor anyone with names sounding even vaguely like that. I have lived here for many years and don't even know anyone by those names.
They wake me up every single day. When you *69 them it says the number can't be called. If they are hiding their number, they don't seem very legitamate to me. Shouldn't they want people to be able to reach them to resolve their issues?
They claim they are a debt collector called Alliance One. They need to stop calling the wrong people. How do they sleep at night knowing they are keeping others from getting any rest?

new phone number for me and keep gettting calls
| Luis 2011-06-06 20:57:23 Unknown |
I got a call from this number: 1-800-254-9917. They started to ask too many personal questions so I decided to terminate the communication. Supposedly they are a collection company called Alliance One, but when I looked for this number on the webpage of the real Alliance One, that 800 number didn't show up. Was that a typical case of "PHISHING"?. Has anybody had a similar experience with this number?

Caller ID showed Unknown Name with the number. Recorded message indicating some kind of collection agency. We don't owe anybody anything so I think it's a scam and they're not really a collection agency, but identity theft scammers. Our number is unlisted and new so the only way they could have called us was with a blanket call to all numbers in a block. They don't know who they're calling in our case.

this caller has called 4 or 5 times for "greta camlooso" and id's itself as a debt collection agency.
I called back, a man answered and immediately put me on hold. Since my name is not greta, I did not wait for him to pick back up.

Got an automated recording asking for Kevin W. Beach, an apparent deadbeat who doesn't pay his bills. Various companies have been calling my number for 5 years and won't give up no matter how many times I tell them it's the wrong number. They put in their message "If this isn't Kevin Beach, disregard this message." Um...I'm sick of disregarding this message. Update your records, people!!

I've received no less than ten recorded messages for the person who owned my house before me to call Alliance One at 800-254-9917. I don't return their calls and they keep calling. I've had my present telephone number for over 20 years.

I got a message, as noted above, with a voice simulator inserting my name into a message urging me to call this number. I returned the call, and after being put on hold was informed that they were collecting for a parking ticket that I had gotten in Seattle Washington.
