These people are calling me from all different numbers so i can't block a specific one, and they are calling from 8 a.m. til 9 at night. They call probably 4 to 5 times a day. and this started back in 2005. they still havn't stopped and i had to change my number because they have hassled me for so long. not answering their calls just constantly fills my voicemail, and they don't stop calling because of it. Im so sick of this.

I received a Phone call about Magazine Sales ,I really don't remember too much of the call but I did receive a letter stating that I subscribed to & I really doesn't make any since at all TV Y NOVELAS (USA).That sure does not make any sense since I don't even speak or read Spanish.

they called me smoothed talked me into it tryed to call my back to put a stop to it and they wouldnt stop it i would like to cancell it you guys are a scam forget any and all info you have from me

I am in to them for about 350...they just kept taking money. IT IS A SCAM DO NOT DO THIS!

I have just recived a  plan from this Publishers Guide company and I did not even order any magazines from theses people. They say that I can call them back in three days but the problem is I have gotten  the letter this Friday 24,2012. I tryed to call them back the same day I recived the letter and find out that the company is closed today Friday, February 24,2012 Number 1-800-259-1649..
What can I do about these people why would I want to pay $ 287.40 a month for magazines. When I do not have the money to pay for heat or my med prescriptions. This just does not make any senice.

Just got the first call today. He said he was with Publishers Guide and I told him "I'm not interested" and hung up.
I have not signed up for the foreclosure info.

My mother (elderly and hard hearing) kept receiving phones call from this number.  She agreed to purchase magazines and gave them her credit card number.  I called the company back made a settlement offer to cancel the maginzes.  NOW they've called back and recorded my mother agreeing to MORE magazines.  I heard the recording and there's no way anyone would say my mother understood what was happening.  I called them and told them to put my mother on a do not call list and to just send her account to a collection agency.  They said if I did not have medical power of attorney for my mother that they didn't have to listen to me!!!!

This number calls and asks for my daughter who is not here nor has been in years. Can't seem to get them to stop even though I tell them she is not here nor any forwarding info.

These people can get your account numbers and bill you for things you don't want and never ordered to the tune of 57.48 per month....WATCH OUT FOR THESE SCAMMERS.

they are  such a lier  they charge me, than they doesn't send me magazine   just i want my Money back

It is a big fat scam. If you gave them your debit or credit card number so they can take the money out of your acct. then you need to change your numbers, if they are using your checking acct number then you need to close that acct, and tell your bank so you can block it. Good luck. I also canceled but it didn't do any good. Sorry. They may also threaten to turn your acct with them in to collections, I am pretty sure they won't.

Do some of you actually read what you type? It's obviously telemarketers trying to sell you magazines, which is not illlegal nor a scam. It's either you want to but the magazines or you don't. If not, simply hang up your phone and you have nothing to worry about. Use common sense!

i was told i won a $100.00 visa walmart card. its all a lie.i owe $574.00 IN MAGAZINES.ITS ALL A SCAM.

I got a call from them this afternoon, telling me something about someone paying for up to 6 months of magazines for me. This already sounded weird enough as it is, but they knew my name, address, my card information and my bank. My bank does look out for things that would help me, especially since I am an art student, but I called my bank to find out they took out 57.48 for something someone supposedly paid for me, now I'm calling back and some representative says that I don't have an account. So as I'm thinking about this, I call my bank back and they tell me that it's pending. Awesome for me! I can go cancel this s***!

Go to call back, and whenever I pressed the option to talk to a representative, it seems like they've blocked my damn number. Cancelled my debit card, and getting a new one. =_= Screw these a***oles!

I ALSO RECIEVED CALLS FROM 18002591694.  I ORDERED A FEW MAGAZINES AND THEY TOOK THE INITIAL 19.16 OUT MY ACCOUNT.  I TRIED CALLING WITH-IN THE 10 DAY TRIAL PERIOD AND ONLY GOT RECORDINGS.  WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE.  I'M STILL WAITING ON MY MAGAZINES.  IS THERE A REAL NUMBER TO TALK TO A REAL PERSON???? SOMEONE NEEDS TO INVESTIGATE THESE PEOPLE.  THEY SENT A LETTER WITH WHAT MY ORDER WAS AND GIVES YOU THIS 800 NUMBER....

I got a call from this number and it was the same magazine scam. The trainee said her name was Stephanie, but then again so did the supervisor. They didn't say what company they were calling for, but they said they knew my address and wanted a bunch of other information. Definitely a SCAM!!

They just tried to scam me thirty mins ago... They knew my address already. They asked about the weather. They also asked my age and what school i went to. Now i am thinking this is the same people from a membership i am already in.So I started asking questions and he got off the phone by saying that he will call me back later at another time... So now i began to get nervous and call the number back, which was a bunch of bs... I thought they had info on me as far as my bank card number and my account number already. Reading these comments confirmed to me that they was trying to get that type info out of me, but I rosed some concerns which made them get nervous. So now i know not to pick up for them ever again... If i recieve mail from them i will not open it, I will just throw it straight in the garbage!!!!!!!!

This number calls me all the time. Dont know who they are, and when I try to look them up on reverse look-up, nothing comes up.

Caller was rude, said to me, "Go back to Mexico!" and hung up.

keeps on calling me even in the middle of the night. !@#$

I've received these calls too.  They gave me the whole "how is the weather out there?" act, and then tried to tell me I was a loyal customer and they would like to renew my magazine subscription for free, only a "opportunity cost" of $4.99 per week (do the math folks, that adds up to $260 per year!) for some crappy magazines!! Problem is, I've never been suscribed to any magazine in my life.

...FOR THOSE THAT WANT TO GET BACK AT THEM: If you want to talk to somebody and all you're getting is the automated response when you call the number (800-259-1649) back, I believe you chose option 2 (that you're NOT a customer) and then select option 1 (that you're interested in their products/services).  This will put your through an actual person and you can give 'em a piece of your mind (much like I did yesterday).  Good luck!
