Got a change on my credit card.

THIS  COMPANY  FITCOMPASS.COM  3102601347  "MYFITNESS"  27.00  FEES   SIGNED ME UP FOR "10 DAY TRIAL"  BUT THEY NEVER SENT   SAID "EMAIL TO OPT OUT" ????,  THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW.  IN CALIFORNIA YOU MUST GET 45 DAYS TO REFUND ANY BUSINESS AND THEY MUST PROOF THEY SENT   OPT OUT REFUND  INFORMATION??

THEY NEVER SENT EMAIL  BUT CLAIMS THEY AUTO SEND IT ?  ? CLAIMS IT WENT TO  JUNK MAIL  FOLDER ?  ?  NOT TRUE AND  FALSE AND NOT A WAY TO DO BUSINESS.    B***S***  COMPANY  FRAUD PRACTICE

I CALLED MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY AND CLAIMED FRUAD USE OF MY CRDIT CARD AND MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY REFUND MY ACCOUNT  $27.00  ITS  CALLED A  " CHARGE BACK "  DONT LET THIS  LOW  LIFE  COMPANY FORCE ANYONE FEES,  MEMBERSHIP OR B***S*** WAYS OF BUSINESS.  IT IS  FRAUD !!!!!!!

The Exact same thing happened to me. I called them and told them I did not receive the notice in time to cancel what a rip off. They refunded my 27.00 till they did the investigation and I just rec'd a letter from the bank and the bank saying the dispute was denied. I had ordered the sexy lip and then you get ripped off with two more items they take out of your account.

I cancelled fitness since january, as of today i am still getting charged $27.00 a month for nothing because i never received any of their merchandise. But my credit card is still getting charged for these charges.

I also got billed on something I never really signed in or purchased. I remember I did tried the Cosmetyn product last Feb and had returned it to their store. Is there any hope we can stop them from charging us on? Or any hope we can refund on those months they had billed us? PLease help!

I did read the small print and called the number provided, even got a conf. #; that was on 4/7/2009.  When my account was in the negative and I did the research, they still charged me on 4/14 and 5/12 plus the NSF of $35.00.  When I called back and gave them the conf.#, they said they didn't see that number and they still showed me active...they gave me another conf.# and said it would be cancelled "for sure" this time.  Only gave me a name of Rachel and wouldn't give a last name.  I hope these people burn in hell!!!

What about taking money out of your checking account. I disputed this with my bank and Fitcompass sent me a letter stating I did agree to their service and I will not be getting my refund... what do I do now?

I have been fighting this company for 3 months now to get my money back. I signed up with another company called the natural source store, agreed to their terms and this my fitness company, "which I have never heard of" took money out of my checking account, of course when I called them. They basically called me a liar and said deal with it...

Sorry, have a correction.  It wasn't WebMD is was wellnesswatchersmd.com.  These folks were billing us also.  But they did refund.  In any case, they seem to be related companies.  Now I have to watch my account for a few months to make sure they are out of my system, already reported them to the bank and will send my information to the proper authorities.  By the way, go to their website and read the terms and conditions area.  Their parent company is called Throwdown, LLC.  That ought to be a clue is to what they are doing.

The wife ordered teeth whitner and susequently got my card information into these people's hands.  Hit me twice before I could get it stopped (not sure it is stopped) for a loss of 54.00 (2 X 27.00).  These folks are also associated with WebMD a similar shell company.  They will not refund, their online customer service live chat is unmanned, so they won't talk to you.  Called and cancelled, received a cancellation number.  So mad, will report them to the Attorney General.  This is the definition of deceptive trade practices.  Don't know if shutting them down does anything as they most likely just open up under another name.  We will never buy anything off the net again unless it is with a well known established company for fear of this repeat.  Thiefs.

Cosmetyn is a total SCAM! You cannot cancel your 'free' membership, so after 21 days, they start to charge your credit card $90/month.

Besides, a stupid company called "Fit Compass" (800-260-1347) will charge $27 each month! I hear you say "why the heck do they do that?" You are right, it does not make sense for a normal person. But, Fit Compass claims that you ordered an online fitness program (wtf) during your shopping from Cosmetyn (Natural Source Store) They do not refund your money back! You will never know what fitness program you ordered, but you have to pay for the period that passed until you found out that some thieves charged money from your credit card.

When you call Cosmetyn, they tell you that Fit Compass is not affiliated with them. The so-called online fitness package Fit Compass sold to you without your information is "a promotion from a 3rd company which is not affiliated with Cosmetyn."

I protest webforhealth for advertising such a SCAM like Cosmetyn.

on my credit card someone has charged me $27. and it this number and it said something called fitness.  well first of all i don't work out.  i don't need to work out.  and second of all, if this is located in Utah, i don't live in Utah.  i live here in Sacramento, CA.  i have no clue what is it that is going on, but I'm gonna have to call these people and see what is up with the $27 charges.

i just got the same charge on my account. i am livid. i called to cancel the cosmetyn (cause its bull) a few days ago and now i have a $27 charge. i was not informed at anytime about this charge. it is rediculous. i want to call to complain, but reading these comments makes me assume i will get nowhere. guess its time to change accounts.

Yeah, it teaches me too, to read all the fine print on terms and conditions when I purchase online from now on. I went yesterday and took all my money from my account, and opened another one. They will NOT refund your money from your SUPPOSED acceptance of their terms and conditions from purchasing a product not even related to what you are a member of. I told them when it happened to me, that they were doing illegal business practices....they told me it was not illegal, I just didn't read all of the terms and conditions. I told them even if it isn't illegal, it doesn't make it right....they are immoral, and scamming innocent people out of money all over the world. I asked to speak to their boss, she said she was the supervisor. I got nowhere on the phone conversation. WHERE CAN WE REPORT THIS TO?????? i have never been so angry at a blatant intentional way of scamming people out of their money. And they say it is LEGAL!!!!!!

This very same thing happened to me! From the very same company. They will NOT refund the 27.00, nor will they listen to you when you tell them they were not authorized to charge your card. I don't think I have ever been so mad, and all for just trying to order teeth whitener. I want to know WHERE to report this supposed company to.l

i just called that number to cancel what ever it is i even supposedly signed up for and am extremely furious! i spoke with a lady name norma employee number 1019 and she could not tell me who her boss is.  its just one huge scam to get into people's account.  im so furious that its hard to even type, im shaking so badly.
i asked her if she has any idea what this company she's working for is doing and during economic hard times, to just get into people's accounts and take their money.  she just kept repeating that this was a promotion that was through that stupid cosmetyn and since i didn't cancel in 10 days that they were able to charge me.  this teaches me a lesson to buy something online...

Same thing just happened to me, i reported it to my bank and i am reporting it to the BBB as we speak.

I recently bought a product and just received the $27 on my bill, but then i went back and looked at an online order I made and the email they sent me says I had a 10 day free trial of fit compass and would get an email in 3 days and if i didn't to call 1-800-507-7385 to cancel.  They have a web site www.fitcompass.com go to the bottom of the page and it says cancel/refund my membership.  They never sent the email in 3 days so I forgot and I remembered when I seen the $27 on my bank statement.

Do not order any online products that ask you to sign up for a free trial and then you can become a member if you like the product.  You will be charged a fee not only for the product but FitCompass will charge you a $27.00 fee for the membership and they are not even associated with the company.  I ordered from Cosmetyn, paid $90.00 for product and on top of that was charged $27.00.

Don't know!  I have a charge for $27.00 on my bank account and I have no idea who these people are.

Shelly it just happened to me tonight.  Someone at that same 800 # charged me 1 dollar to test my credit card .  It was from a company named, My fitness.  WHO THE HECK ARE THEY? Had to have my bank cancel my credit card because I wasn't sure if I was going to end up like the rest of ya on the internet complaining about this company charging their credit card. I'm so glad I canceled my credit card tonight.
