I, too, am ashamed to admit I worked here. The money was easy and I was stupid!  The calls go something like this..first you have to pick your poison...colleges, churches, even the coast guard (a favorite easy target), etc.  second you call the front office, secretary, or whoever uses the computer.  third you get the name of a dept head or their personal secretary. A lot of times there are "gatekeepers" and you have to lie the majority of the time to get to your target person. Fourth you spew a big fat lie, which goes something like this..."hello my name is ( fake name). I'm calling with Laserworks. Can you verify for me the printer there? Whew, great, you may have saved my job. Listen I sent the same cartridges up the street from you, which is a regular customer here. Anyway they didn't need them and since (name of their boss) uses us a lot, can I just send them to you please?"  Surprisingly most people comply. Then Jeff, who is in his own little area calls the poor person back and gets all the payment details, etc.  It makes me sick to think I took part in that crap and I'm not just saying that. I was in a desperate place and sank lower than I ever imagined I could. The company is disturbing. For instance, it's Christmas parties (drunken orgies) are mandatory for all employees. The kicker is they must attend alone. No spouses, significant others, etc. allowed. That was my breaking point. The boss then did two female employees in the bathroom!  I could go on and on but risk overwhelming you with this hell on earth!

This company has a habit of calling and asking to speak to the peson in charge of shipping supplies. They tthen go into this spiel about this being their "25th Anniversary", they have come out with a new catalog and that they will send you one. They then ask if you are still using 2" tape for shipping. They then say that they'll send a box of tape to you along with a Sony radio for being such a good customer. In most cases the shipping person will say ok and then the scammer asks if you'ld like to give them a PO# or they could just use your first name for a PO#.

Ok now I'll cut to the chase. About a week later you receive the box of 2" tape along with a $2 (maybe) radio. A week after that accounts payable receives the invoice for said tape. The invoice for 96 rolls of tape is a whopping $460! Five frickin' buck a roll, when you can get better tape from Uline for under $1/roll.

I got taken when I was about 2 weeks on the job. What I did was to send the tape back (on their account) and write on their invoice, in big black letters "I will not pay this invoice. You guys are total ripoffs and scammer. Don't you have any conscience? DO NOT contact me or my comapny EVER again! And oh, by the way, I'm keeping this crappy radio to compensate for my time"

But alas, these losers keep calling every 2 or 3 months. When they do I alway try and have a little fun at their expense.

Stay very, very far away from Dynatek Industries. You'll be glad you did!

A woman pleaded not guilty Wednesday to embezzling more than $68,000 from Dynatek Labs, a company in Galena that tests medical devices.

Brelenda S. Young is charged with seven counts of class C felony stealing. She was arraigned Wednesday in Stone County Circuit Court.

According to a probable cause statement filed in September 2011 by the Stone County Sheriff's Office, Young worked for Dynatek from December 2007 to January 2011. Part of her job was managing the company's petty cash account. ...

Dynatek Industries Scam Artist, fast talkers Encino, California
10th of Nov, 2011 by User673574
Someone from this company called and used the same old fast talk spiel. They asked about my position in the company. I was told they had a new catalog and was going to send me one. He said they were also going to send me some tape, that should be about a months supply and a clock radio that was mine to keep no matter what. The guy tried to make it seem like all of this was free until the end when it basically went, "OK thats standard 30 day billing" CLICK. Upon UPS attempted delivery I refused shipment and advised to return to sender. I advised my AP Manager not to pay any invoice from this company. Companies like this and the people that they employ are nothing but slime.

Our company gets a call from Dynatek at least once a year if not more. The 1st time they called they confirmed our address for a "catalog" then asked if we still used 2" tape for shipping. If you don't know 2" tape in the standard for any shipping company, so the common answer is yes. Dynatek will then send you a catalog and a ridiculous amount of tape that is completely overpriced. The only way not to be charged for the product is to refuse it in the shipping process. I see how this can be considered a legitimate business, right up there with selling bath salts and K2 products.
Like suggested above when Dynatek calls I try to take them on as long as ride as possible. You know like saying "hold on i need to measure our tape, then proceed to pretend to measure multiple rolls, as if some were different."
In short if Dynatek calls don't give them any information to ship to anything (including the catalog) to your business or you will regret it. To bad we can't call and take our numbers off their "call list" John Turner why don't you make that happen instead of continuing to defend your sheisty business practices online, why don't you remove ALL our numbers from your list? I've also included my real name on this so you can feel free to contact me. I would be more then happy to discuss these issues.

John Turner, you sound completely retarded.

I love when these scammers call me at work. I love to waste their time with ridiculous, false, confusing info.

Start asking them lots of questions. "oh, you need the serial number? Or course, let me find that. which copier? the one the receptionist uses? well we have several of those.  do you mean a boy copier, or a girl copier? because we keep our men and women separated here. yeah its for the best.  we were having too much sex in the bathrooms.  also, while i've got you on the line, can i order more candy ink from you? yeah candy ink. you know. the kind you sold us last time, that makes the paper taste good. maaan that stuff is delicious..."

We have been getting their calls for years. Thing is, we are a tiny company with just 4 people all working in the same room, so we were onto them the very first time they called saying they were "Joe in Purchasing".
Whoever answers their calls now strings them along as long as possible, pretending to be a bit slow and dumb: "Which printer do you mean? I am all alone in the office and I am not sure if I can move it away from the wal!. Do you mean the black one or the red one? Where do you say the name and the number would be? Ooops, sorry, I was actually looking at the photocopier, really sorry. What should the printer look like: I only started yesterday and my boss is on the phone, I am afraid to interrupt her, etc".

Was told the price was for a set of 3 for $396.  Instead was sent 3 sets of 3 at $396 each.  Are you crazy?  Even after calling back and demanding to hear the recorded call they still disagreed with their own salesperson.  "Obviously she didn't mean that was per set, of course that was per cartridge."  REALLY???

We've been receiving phone calls on our direct line (not published anywhere) from both a male and female caller. They tell us that "just got in" and found a note from their boss to call us regarding a "mix-up" on parts, they needed to verify the model numbers of our Oki 9650s.

When questioned they repeat the line about just getting in and fiding a note from their boss. But when pressed further the woman became rather snarky. I told her we have never contacted her company for service as all our printers are serviced through a company we have a contract with. She kept going on about her boss, so I suggested she either give me her boss's number or have her boss call me. "She said "Look, do you not feel comfortable giving me the numbers?" I told her I needed verification and she said if I wasn't going to give her the numbers just say so. So I did.

With their attitude I can see how someone who may not know about their companies dealings with their printers and repairs may be coerced into giving up the info.

We've received 3-4 calls from this "company", but the that was the last one - so far.

I used to work for a place like this. Most of what is on here is truthfully garbage. The only thing they do that is "wrong" is charge a lot for the products. They never ship anything without authorization, etc. People just get stuck with a big bill, then try to back out, and make up stories. That is why everything is recorded. Chances are, you can't do anything about this company other than not agree to order anything from them. Best thing to do is be honest, review the facts, and work with them. If you lie about placing the order, it makes them more apt to drag you through the coals with attorney's etc. Telemarketing is tough, everyone assumes you are a liar without even considering the fact that you aren't.

Hi,
INTRATEK is currently trying to scam us. They shipped us toner worth maybe $80 and they are trying to charge $1,800. It's ironic that my company takes care of people that are disabled. It's a shame that John would try to prey on us. We need this money... What should my company do about this? Thanks!!!! We shall unite and put these scammers out of business!!!! We need to get ride of the John Turners of this world, he is evil!

PS and any attorney who represents John Smallberries and his con is a prostitute. While it's OK to give advice to a person who has broken the law in the past, continuing advice to an ongoing criminal enterprise is unlawful and unethical for an attorney in any jurisdiction.

I would simply send back the merchandise.  And if they want some restocking fee then simply rip it up. Never pay it.  If you feel bad about that send this company an equal bill for your "Handling fee for unauthorized merchandise return."  Two can play that game!

I worked for this place a ton of times. I only went back because it is easy money. It is terrible to say because I was in fact scamming people every day. Which is the reason I quit for the very last time. I hated that everyday I was sinning, lying and scamming people out of thousands of dollars. I needed the money so I'd go back to "m tek" every few months to make some extra cash. Jemily, or however you spell it, was my boss at the time. I have no idea how people get off on scamming people, or how people can consistently scam people year after year there. It boggles my mind. It is a completely dishonest and misleading company to work for. I hear their radio commercials everyday and I think to myself, 'please don't apply there. Someday they're going to get in trouble by the FBI for their terrible scams'. I had a family member who was working there and alla sudden one day at work they were investigated and laid off. Yet somehow they're still in business. It boggles my mind how they can still be in business after that. Anyway, don't trust these guys. Take it from someone who was once a scammer like these guys trying to play it off as an honest business. It's not worth it. If you hear, "hi this is "x" at microtek solutions, I need to check the model number on the printer there in the office", HANG UP IMMEDIATELY!!!
