Just got a call and vmail also - same EXACT spiel that every person above me stated... Paying too much on the electricity bill, blah blah blah, $150, yada yada b***s*** and so on. Too bad I am not the person who's name is listed on the utilities so this is complete crap. I hope 'Jay' goes on these sites and reads these comments about himself

Jay is on a roll.  He just left me a message to help me save money on my utility bills.  Didn't reveal who he was calling on behalf of, but left his direct line: 949-247-8407.  

Jay called me too! While it's no doubt a recorded message, he gets points for referencing today's date to make it seem less spammy.

Then he said he couldn't help but notice my electric bill was over $150. I don't think it's ever been over that and I have a fixed $80/month payment with my utility year round. He said his associates could help me get it lowered by at least $65. Doubtful!

Our good buddy Jay called  me too about saving 50%!   What a nice guy to go out of his way like that!!

I recently received a call from "Jay," he left a voicemail about the same information as the above comments, that I could save 50% on my utility bill....

Now they are calling Arizona. They are saying they can save me 50% on my electric bill. How stupid do they think we are??  

Work cell was broken and while I was waiting for new one good old Jay called 4 times. Get these calls all the time. They want to set up a schedule for sleazy solar company.

A few months ago they were calling several times a day on work cell, personal cell, and home phone. Finally got fed up and schedule an appointment...at my old apartment address. They called to confirm twice. The 2nd time I called him back at 11:00 P.M. The next day I received several calls from his cell until finally he left this sad (and funny) message wanting me to open the security door to my apartment building. Didn't receive another call until March.  

Got a voicemail so I didn't catch the company name because the voice was muffled, but seemed to be something Savings Department.  But same as the previous post on this number, the caller is Jay, calling about a notification they sent me about an overpayment on my utility bill by as much as 50%. He says to call back for information about a statewide program that can lower my monthly utility bill by as much as 50%.  

I would be wary of calling back.  If you are interested in programs for utility discounts, call your actual utility company instead!

800-260-7721: Scammer/Telemarketer. Claimed to be "Jay with Utility Advocates of California" calling about "a statewide program that will reduce your monthly utility bill by as much 50% through the use of solar energy." There is no such company or organization as Utility Advocates of California. I receive scam calls about solar all the time but they don't usually leave messages. The Do Not Call List is useless.
