Ugh!  This guy called me too!  They told me I had to come up with $16,000 in one hour or I would be "taken legal action against" and that they would come after everything I had and my parent who co-signed my student loan and start to garnish my wages. I had a panic attack at work.  I'm defnitely contacting an attorney.

Thay are also violation the FCC law by sending out a false telephone number when calling you that shows up on your caller ID

Called at my WORK, stating they were returning my phone call..LIE. Mrs. Wells..where do I report this harressment!!!!!

CONSTANT, CALLING, TOLD ME I WOULD GO TO JAIL FOR SOMETHING THE EX DID.  I ASKED THEM, WHY, THEY SAID THEY HAVE CONNECTIONS TO MAKE IT HAPPEN?  PAY THE BILL OR GO TO JAIL WERE MY CHOICES.  THATS EXACTLY THE WORDING

This person called my mother saying that there was a lawsuit pending against me from past due credit card bills. My mother got her information for me to call her back, but the lady was very insistent that my mother stay on the phone and continue the conversation. According to my mother, the lady was very unprofessional and yelled at her, saying, "You're not going to call me back, I know you're not!"

This person or group has been calling looking for my grandaughter for several months. She has not lived here in over 20 years. I have conveyed this to the agent, but they keep calling.

I've been receiving several calls from these folks daily. They leave kind of threatening messages that it is very important to contact them but no reason why.  Name was Sara Glen? at extension 1511.

The people from this company have been calling me NON-STOP (at home and at work) for the past 7 days.  They were rude (it was a guy named Sam and a woman named Sarah.).  They said that they had options for me to pay a debt.  Actually it was "Pay us now or get sued".  How many options was that?  Child please

These people have been calling my upstairs neighbor and leaving messages for me.  I don't think it is appropriate for them to leave messages with someone who has no business knowing my financial problems.  It has gotten so bad that he has been forced to turn off his phone ringer.  How can we get these people to stop harrassing others?  And how did they get his phone number in the first place?  I don't even know what it is.

They cal and acall for my wifes ex husband and when I ask them to stop calling I get told to get a life, go drink some coffee or some other rude line.

Keep receiving calls from Pamela Decker from NES.  She calls me at work and on my home phone.  This last message stated she spoke with my father and is waiting to speak with my mother.  Last time I checked I was grown and neither one of them have anything to do with my finances so why are you speaking to them.  1-800-261-3453 X1950 will not be getting a call back from me.

they also use web-crawlers. they go and search everytthing electronic. looking for your name or last 4 social in databases to gather info and report theirefindings back to the host program. yeap, just like the matrix. put nothing in electrnic form. it is searched, even without you knowing it. scan your coomputer with a free scann F-SECURE FREE ONLINE SCAN. IT FINDS IMBEDDED FILES MOST SCAn programs miss.never call an 8xxx number back.then threy know they have a correct number. spread the info faST AND WE CAN KILL THEM IN THEIR TRACKS.

I recieved a call to my friends house where i have been stayin for all of 3 weeks, Confused because im not sure how they recieved this number, anyway a guy named Jerry Heart stated that i was to be in court to be sued, stated i could not set up payment arrangement and basically if i dont come up with the amount in full that i will be sued feb 15, 2010. I tried to explain that i dont have the money he was rude, belittled me for not having the funds and stated he will also pursue my mother because she co-signed...he never explained to me the name of his company. his ext number is 1115.

Received multiple voicemails from Chris Sanders @ 1.800.261.3453, xt 1133. Never identified what company he was with or why he was calling. When he left a message at my work, I called him back. I googled the number first and had found this site, so I was prepared. Chris actually started off sounding polite and reasonable - I was surprised after what I'd read here. That quickly changed. He became abrupt and belittling, then handed me off to his "supervisor" "Matt" who proceeded to be even more rude, belittling, impatient ... all culminating in him swearing at me before hanging up on me. I will be contacting the MN Attorney General's office.

You do know that what was said to you is a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, don't you?  Collection agencies are not allowed under this law to threaten any specific action if you do not pay within a specified amount of time.  I hope you didn't pay...

Got a voicemail from "Chris Sanders" asking me to call back (1-800-261-3453 x1133) regarding my ex-wife.  I'm absolutely sure this is a legitimate debt that she owes, considering she defaults on every credit card she ever gets.

If he calls again, I will absolutely make sure to give him her number! haha  Free harassment?  How can you turn that down? ;)

Also had several calls from John Deveroux "you must return this call immediately"  ok and what if I don't?  I have been known to call bill collectors back and set up plans for payment.. have done it with 2 in the past.  Be a little more pleasant Deveroux and just maybe I would do the same with you, but when you call threatning forget it.

Repeated phone messages from Chris Saunders over the past 3 weeks-- nasty attitude and always "urgent"-- will not leave any company ID-- and does not show with CAller ID-- we do not return calls to anyone we do not know. His number is 800 261-3453 x1133. This appears to be a collections agency called NES per Web search of phone number. We are well aware of our finances and do not know what this is in regard to . . . and will not be calling back to ask.

I just got the same call today. John Devarow called me at work telling me he was an attorney for Chase. He wanted me to know the seriousness of this call and wanted me to pay him the $ owed today. I advised him I was working with a Debt Consolidation Company and he got angry and said they do not deal with those people. I tryed to give him the phone # and contact attorney and he would not take it. He threatened me , saying I would be sued for all the attorney cost and charges from Chase Bank, etc.  I told him there was nothing I could do today and asked him to spell his name and the name of his company he was calling from and his phone #. He refused to give it to me and kept threatening me saying he would sue me and garnish my wages up to 33% until they got all their $.  He made one mistake. He had called and left his phone # on my machine at home. That is how we found this site. And he is no attorney. Looks like my only option is to call the NJ Attorney General office.

I just got off the phone with their Corporate Office/Compliance Dept and complained about one of their employees on how they belittled me and the threats I was receiving from their rep Chris Saunders. I also let them know that I was putting a compliant in with the Att. Generals Office from my state (Which I did). The Corporate Rep told me they do not condone those types of tatics because they are a respectable company nationwide. She assured me my name would be flagged and the calls would cease.

Don't let these people scare you!!! Fight back. Contact a lawyer that specializes in harassing collectors. I did and successfully sued one called Allied Interstate. I got paid and they have not called since. It wasn't even me they were looking for in the first place! The lawyer I used in on the internet. He is Alex Weisburg. Don't know if I am allowed to post his link here. Do a google search on him. It was very easy as they handled everything.

A Heather White has also left a message w/my jobs' main voicemail box. She said she 'received my file, and that I need to call her back to give my side of the story.' I called but never gave them my name, I just told them that the message was not clear and wanted to know what NES was. The guy told me it was regarding a complaint but wouldn't tell me anything else. One hour later a woman called and asked for me, the receptionist told her I was not available and if she would like to leave a message. She said no and asked to speak to a manager or someone in payroll! Of course when the receptionist transfered the call to my manager, the person hung up! Talk about desperate measures!

Call your state Attorney General about these people.  California has received numerous complaints about them and it looks like they will be compiling an indictment soon.  Once they indict, thing will go quickly.  Other Attorney Generals are interested as well.  They more complaints and real stories they have from real people, the sooner The stronger the case will be. Companies like this need to be forced to work within the law.  The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act was passed for a reason, and companies like this need to follow it or go out of business.
