Got a call said they were Allstate Motor Club and my card had been refused and they needed a new number to charge. I told them that was funny when the charges went through just fine. They hung up. I then called the motor club and was told there was no reason I should have been called as everything was fine with my account. Do not give them any information call the company they say they are directly and check with them

JUST HAD A CALL.  DID NOT ANSWER.  THEY LEFT NO MESSAGE

I cut my losses. I add the number to my contacts list and set the ring to No Ring.

I returned the called, to be rudely told that they are contacting me because they could not get in contact with my ex-husband on a 15 year old car repo  debt and I was responsible for it even though I explained to them that he kept the car as part of the divorce settlement.  I told them to stop calling me, so they sent me a letter from the Law Office of Thomas Landis, Esq. "representing" Cavalry Portafolio Services. about the same debt collection, and also states "At this time, no attorney with this firm has personally reveiwed the particular circumstancesw of your account"

Persistant calls from 1-800-262-0079 when answered resulted in silence, and when left to ring never left a message.  I called the number and for some reason I got a recorded answer stating were Allstate Motor Club and they called me about their emergency roadside assistance coverage.  Looked up Allstate Motor Club and found number 1-800-998-8679 listed as their customer service department. The address is listed in Arlington Heights, Illinois.  Called that number and found service representative "Erin" who listened very attentively and I think he got the purpose of my call on about the 3rd time I explained the problem. Erin is in India by the way. Advised him to see to it that my number was removed from their autodialer system, and was assured it would be. Time will tell.  If your having this aame trouble, give Erin or one of his cohorts a try.....Good luck

The next time they call, ask them for their Social Security number - watch how fast they hang up and if they continue to stay on the line, simply keep asking them personal questions, like "what is the color of your hair?"; "what is your favorite ice cream flavor?", etc., etc.  Then they'll stop.

they keep calling me about car insurance when i have not had a car in 2 years and i have asked to be taken off their list by button pushing AND talking to someone AND i still recieve phone calls from them

this number has called me twice a day for 16 days in a row. never a message left, they call in the morning and early evening like clockwork.
no one is there if you try to call the number back-it just rings and then goes dead. how did they get my number??

I've gotten calls from this number and a couple of others regarding vehicle warranty and such. Rather than try to deal with them I just add the number to my Contacts list and set the number to "No Ring".

They keep calling my land line.  Don't leave a message.

You're right. I got a bunch of these the last 2 times I rented something from Uhaul. It takes 3-4 days.

I had first received two calls from "unkown" numbers as my caller ID wouldnt pick it up...but every time I answered a person would say; "Hi this is  so and so from All State" and I would just hang up on them.

Then yesterday I got a phone call from the 1-800 number so I answered it and it was a female that said that same thing; "I'm so and so from All State" so I interrupted her and asked why you people keep calling me?

She then got an attitude with me saying that she didnt know I had been called and if I had talked to any of the other agents. I told her their was no need to as I have my own agent and call him when I need something.

She kept up with her snooty attitude but said she would remove me from the list but made sure to tell me it takes 3 days to be removed and she cant held accountable for any more calls I get in that time.....but havent received any yet.

They called me at 6:45 p.m. I'm getting mad if I am having calls from these kind of companies. I do not want receive calls like that. NO OFFERS...

I have received a couple of calls from this ph#.  I called the ph# back, and their outgoing message mentioned something about if I had made an Emergency Roadside Claim, I should leave a message.

I too have been getting repeated calls from (800-262-0079) I don't pick up and they don't leave a message.
These calls are on a daily basis.

Did any of you make a reservation with Uhaul? i started getting these calls about 3 days after I made my reservation.

The call came from a company offering an Emergency Roadside Assistance Program.
