I called the phone number on the back of my credit card and they said 1-800-265-8580 is the collections department. Although he checked my card and saw that it was up to date he said it may be the fact I paid late.  So it is CIBC

They call sometimes twice a day and when I answer there is no response.  I've stayed on the line for a while and waited to see if someone would talk, but nobody does.  The phone number shows up on caller display as CIBC, but if it were a bank, I would expect professionalism, not this.

I have recieved calls from this number for roughly 6-8 months. Never leave a message. Sometimes they call 4-5 times a day. It is 10:03 am, and the have already called twice.

Do not call me anymore

Someone called me a work, claiming to be from my bank.  I said any banking matters can be mailed to me.  They said I would need to call the number 800-265-8550

Seemed very fishy, the person on the phone goofed up on who they were and why the were calling.

This seems like a phishing for personnal data type scam.  Avoid calling them or answering thier calls.  Block this number and report to the police if they start asking for personal data..

this number has called me each day since 7/25/09-sometimes 2x a day

They didnt leave a message when I called back they said please dial this number it has a new directory.
