This blood sucking parasitic company continues to call me despite my direct requests to STOP any and all solicitations or communications with me. I have reported them in the past but these calls persist. I have a phone contract which limits me to 200 'any time' minutes and i have no desire to waste these valuable minutes on such deplorable bottom feeding low life scum sucking marketers such as them. If i were to harass any individual or company such as this i would be subject to legal action. Can the same not be done to them? They were warned and they simply ignored the request, now it is time to go the next step. This company needs to be fined and dealt with.

DE Sales - I call b***s***. I rent/own nothing from DE. Zero. My current cell number is 5 weeks old and was immediately placed on the national do not call registry. How the hell did you get it and why are you still calling me after being told 5 times in the past 3 days to cease and desist ... yes - you just called again at 1535hrs today. Complaint going in to the BBB and the CRTC.

Direct Energy has called 4 times a day for the past 3 weeks finally I answered today, they wanted to scheduled the furnace annual maintenance but that was already done and not due for another 6 months! The guy on the phone got mad when I refused to keep talking to him and I said I'll call you dont call me, should be enough for him to get the message, I hope.

Daily calls from this number. Hangups when I take the call. I have a contact with Enbridge through which I pay for a Direct Energy furnace and water heater but none directly with Direct Energy. I called DE dialing, as was suggested above, 1 for residential customer, then 5. I immediately spoke with a representative who confirmed that I was receiving auto-dialer calls to telemarket, apologized, and then offered to take me off the call list. I will report back if the calls don't stop, but assuming they do, this was a fairly easy fix.

This number belongs to Apex on behalf of Direct Energy Maintenance. It is an auto dialler.
They called me to rearrange a furnace service call that I missed.

DE is currently also involved in a yet ANOTHER scam incident. This time it's their 2ND offense that the gvmt is looking into. Seems appropriate given the harassment they issue simply over the phone.
"On December 20, 2012, The Competition Bureau announced today that it is taking action against Direct Energy Marketing Limited, a company that rents water heaters to residential customers in Ontario."

Any business that has holdings in or is associated to the state of Texas should tell you enough about how they operate. They're in the process of moving their head office from Toronto to Houston. Most likely because it's too difficult for them to comply with Cdn business standards. This isn't America, your sh.it won't work as well here.
I HIGHLY recommend that anyone who has the opportunity should pass on this information and continue to blackball DE as much as possible to anyone they know or anyone who is thinking of doing ANY kind of business transaction with this joke of a company.

Actually 'DE Sales' is correct for the most part (excluding the part where the auto dialer system only recognizes "hello"). If you do not believe that you are a direct energy customer, then I would suggest you check your Enbridge gas bill if you have one. If you do indeed have services with our company you will be billed through your Enbridge bill, or if you don't have Enbridge, you will be sent a direct bill from Direct Energy. I believe the charges will be on the second or third page of your bill. If there is no charges I would recommend calling Direct Energy yourself. They can look up your supposed account by phone number or address. If it turns out there is an error on our behalf, we will add you to the internal DNC list which DOES take a maximum of 31 days to take effect. If you do not believe this you may reference the rules for all telemarketing calls on the CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission) website. Link is below. Hope this helps.

I just got a call from the number and answered on the 3rd ring. I said hello multiple times before I heard a partial word before the line disconnected.
If the system works this poorly it should be reviewed. It is a great way to actually lose an existing customer.

They've been calling for what seems like forever and we purposely have NOTHING to do with DE thanks to knowing multiple other people who have been ripped off by their useless company.
I spoke to some call center monkey a month ago and was told it would take 30 days to take me OFF their harass list. This week, literally a month almost EXACTLY after I thought I had solved the problem these losers are calling everyday, two or three times.
I have their # blocked on my Panasonic cordless, but still get one ring and know they're calling so I called this morning after their 1st call (10.30am) and complained, was told there is "nothing they can do" (?!?) and they proceeded to called me 3 MORE TIMES TODAY.
If you google DE you can read pages upon pages of complaints going back YEARS.
I have filed numerous complaints, both with the BBB and CRTC and it still continues.
