Legit but good at scamming? Can you even read the drivel you write? No wonder you have to SCAM for a living.

Advance fee loans are illegal. But there is no loan. You know that of course, you're obviously one of the thieves.

This company is legit, just good at scamming. They approved me for a quick loan of $200. The fee they charge for every time you don't make your complete payment is $79. It's crazy high. I regret taking money from them. The fee is almost half of what I needed. :/

They called my office today.  Thankfully, I have caller ID so I could see it was a 1-800 number.  When they asked for a specific employee, I said the same thing I say every time someone asks for a specific employee.  I told them I can only take a message for that employee if it is hospital business (we work in a hospital) or if it is a family emergency.  That leaves them no choice but to hang up.  Too bad!

I recently got a $200 loan through Beacon and I was quite pleased. The lady I delt with was very kind and we even laughed a little. I just called the number and it DOES work so for anyone who is complaining here it is 877-746-4993. They don't charge interest, just a $89 processing fee. I haven't had any problems.

This number calls me at my work desk phone daily. I don't know who they are trying to reach or why they keep calling. I asked to be removed from the list and the CSR said that I will continue to get these calls as someone is entering my phone number on the website. Absolutely no help at all.

I recently was in need of a pay day loan and went online to discover beacon loans through a site branched off of google.com i filled out an app. For them with my name and info. On it to recieve a 200 dollar loan from beacon. Well just after then i was looking on line and i found a couple of forums where people are saying that this is a scam.  Falsified numbers calling your phone numerous times a day and the applicants for the loans are trying to call these numbers back and they are put on hold for  ever one guy said he was on phone on hold for over an hr. And called all these different numbers that "beacon " called from and they had always said that this number has been disconnected? !  They  have no real contact info is what i further found out?  But somehow one person from one of these forums is stating they got ahold of this company beacon and the representative was very nice on the other line and they rate it five star service,  if thats true then why not share the info.  On a phone number where the rest of us can contact this so called beacon loan service so we dont wind up getting f****d over even worse than our mistake of choosing these scammers for a hardworking persons payday loan? So whats a number that i can reach this company to get them to stop my application after i have already submitted it?  I dnt want to get f****d over like they have clearly done to the rest of the applicants!?   Anybody have a number to contact?

RECEIVED CALL, THEY ASKED FOR AN EMPLOYEE BY NAME.  WE DON'T ACCEPT PERSONAL CALLS FOR EMPLOYEES SO I TOLD THEM THAT (HAVE TOLD THEM MANY TIMES BEFORE).  WE ARE TIRED OF THEM CALLING SO I CALLED THEM BACK & TOLD THEM TO TAKE OUR NUMBER OFF THEIR CALL LIST.  WHEN I GOOGLED THE NUMBER, IT CAME UP AS "CROWN FINANCIAL" DEBT CONSOLIDATION OF SOME KIND.

I just wanted to give my two cents on this.

The phone number given is the outgoing phone number for a specific company, Beacon Financial, based out of Nevada. The company offers $200 payday loans with an $89 processing fee. There is no interest & no other fees as long as the company is able to process the loan payment on the due date - usually your next pay day. This information is expressly provided while going through the loan process.

They do not do telemarketing. For them to get your information, you have to fill out an application online through a third party website that matches you with payday loan companies that may be able to give you a loan. For the application to get to the representatives in the call centers, YOU have to e-sign the documents online and submit the application. The "lowlifes" calling you are doing so BECAUSE YOU APPLIED FOR A LOAN. You agreed to be contacted to complete the loan process. The process does involve checking the information you provide on the application - yes, that includes banking information. Account numbers (which are given on the application) are checked, as well as the most recent payroll direct deposits from your employer (to verify pay frequency & amount to make sure the loan can be repaid in one pay period). Sometimes it is necessary to contact employers to verify certain things, but that's not normally part of the process.

This is done because 75% of the applications include false information, and if the company were to just send out loans blindly to people who applied online, they'd never get their money back and would go out of business. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing, but there are thousands of people who apply for these loans through this company every single day, so someone much need or want them.

Now, if you didn't apply for a loan online, someone else used your information. Whether they just chose a phone number randomly or you have an enemy or friend that thought sending your info to an annoying loan company would be really funny, that's why you're getting the phone calls. The problem with stopping that is they go to lots of loan companies - some of which the caller ID will come up with this exact same number, because they're all under the same third party. That's why you get so many calls - it's different companies, not the same person calling over and over again.

Want them to stop? Answer the call, tell them to remove the application, and voila! the calls from that company will stop. Ask for the company name, rep name & ID # or ext, ask for the app to be removed and that's all you can do.

The bottom line is - if you don't want phone calls like this, DON'T APPLY FOR A LOAN ONLINE.

That's my two cents.

I think this number is related to 866-225-5956 TTG Loans.  Woman called switchboard over and over this morning for an employee and asked to verify employment twice.  Very strage calls considering it was back to back and they knew they were getting me.  All the payday loan companies should be shut down forever they are evil.

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (TCPA) does many things - including prohibiting debt collectors from calling your cell phone without your permission. The only way that a caller won't violate the statute is if express consent has been given. Violations of the TCPA. An unintentional call carries a damage amount of $500; an intentional call carries a damage amount of $1,500.
This is from the federal government codified ordnance.

Now granted by placing their cell phone number on the loan application they have given consent for this number to be used but please don?t act like the day of training you received with your company?s compliance officer makes you any more of an expert then the debtor that got their information from an internet lawyer.

To Debt Collecting B****h.
I have a loan with Beacon, what I find funny is that with the 3 phone numbers I have for them suddenly none of them work.  They are taking my money out and I can't get ahold of them.  IF you work for them please give me their working number as I can't get ahold of them.  But I bet if I closed out my account they would call me back suddenly wouldn't they.

Debt Collector
You people are getting SO worked up over one phone number. Thats why EVERYONE in the telemarketing, debt collecting, and call center businesses all get together durring their free time and look stuff like THIS up on the computer just to get a good laugh. This particular number belongs to a company called beacon who gives out payday advances no more than $$200 at a time to those in need. Yes, they charge incredibly high interest, so its not worth it. As for all those pesky telemarketers, They're just doing their job.... reading words off a piece of paper, desperately trying to make a sale so they can smoke their weed or feed their families, whatever they choose to do with their income. DEBT COLLECTORS, however, can be very annoying.... i ABSOLUTELY agree. BECAUSE i am one. If you're bitching about being called by a debt collecter, GET REAL. How do you think WE feel, having to deal with all YOU sorry a***s who dont want to pay their bills. Get OVER it. Its a phone call. Life Goes on. We will continue to call and do our jobs as long as the govt allows:) ... and as long as your accounts remain DELINQUANT. idiots.

P.S. ALSO, %40 of my phone calls are listening to someone tell me what they think the "laws" of debt collection practicing are. "You arent allowed to call a CELL PHONE! Im reporting you to the BBB..." blah blah blah..... the law specifically states... there are no restrictions to MANUAL dialing cell phones. Learn the Laws before you think you have a right to say something:) Have a good one;) Talk to ya next week! lmao

I was coming home from Jack in the Box, and this number called. I answered and said, "Are you a telemarketer?" They replied, "No. But we want your name and number for a survey.By the way, my name's David." I didn't give it to them because I KNEW THAT THEY WERE A SCAM FOR MONEY. I am a very wealthy person, but I didn't want a credit fraud. They kept calling and I never answered, never.

I had just put my phone on the charger because it had died when i noticed i had 13 missed calls. They were all from the same person. I called them back and they said, "Hello this is David. Thank you for calling Financial Problems. How may I help you?" I said, "I just looked at my phone and had 13 missed call from you." They just hung up out of nowhere. I tried calling them back but they wouldnt answer. Then they called me again. I answered. They were like, " I'm sorry but the company you are trying to reach is no longer in business. Good-bye." I think it was a prank.

Telemarketer
They called me at least 3-4 times on my cell phone. I answered once and said, "Please stop calling!" And they didn't. It was a telemarketer. But the times they had called me I was at a meeting for work, so that made it even worse. It's a scam company.
