But the question i have is can you really run a Commodore 64 and a 20 watt light bulb on a 15 amp circuit without something getting overheated?  I mean they are probably using inferior wire over there which would possibly and more than probably be an extreme fire hazard in a grass hut.

It's very hard to ruin English Translation software on a Commodore 64, with 15 amp service. Plus the 20 watt lights in their heads don't make things very 'bright'.
