I also told him that I needed to talk with my husband about making such a huge decision, and he seemed as if he was annoyed. I went on to inform him that I only called to obtain more details about the company and the program. It was almost as if he was presurring me to pay the $250.00, and if I did'nt I would be missing a chance of a life time; the whole ordeal made a little weary.

I also talked to a man named richard from this company. I told him that I wanted the name of the company address, and offical web site so that I could look the company up under the BBB data base, and he just brushed it off and started to sound agitated.

thank you for that warning. me and my husband were going to give the amount of 250.00 to get started on the paper work for us to purchase a home, but the deal sounded to good and too easy to me. Now that I have the information that I do, we will take another avenue in purchacing a new home.

Mr. Lance,
i am currently signed up with your company. But after seeing the way that you talk to people i assure you that i will not do any sort of business with you or any of your colleges. I do have 250 and much more. that isn't something to insult people about. times are hard and people are having to cut back. being in the position that you are in you should understand this. maybe if you spent more time focusing on your clients needs and not the measly 250 you wouldn't have to worry about what negative things people are saying about you and your company. i hope this has been helpful to you. maybe customer service just isn't your thing. maybe you should look for something kinda behind the scenes.

Oh Ya Do You Even Have 250.00

I just got off the phone with Lance of homespricelines.com; the number I called is 8002783041.
Lance stated, "we WILL put you in a home with no money down and no credit check." He babbled on and on about foreclosures in my area and said they'd put me in a rent to own that would be available to take posession of after 30 days and that they could put me in a month to month rental until the house I chose was ready to take posession. He said I could take virtual tour and call customer care with the property that I wanted and they'd have it ready when I arrived; he said you can do it from the comfort of your home, without even leaving. Then came the bomb... he said there is a fee after I told him that I'm not interested in taking advantage of someonelses misfortune, that I want to rent a house, period. I had to ask how much the fee is and he said $120; I asked if it's an up-front fee and he said yes it is so I asked how it's paid and he said that it was taken care of right on the phone with him by credit card. He said soemthing that threw up a red sign and I told him that first I'd like to do some research on his company and he said that he would expect me to. He gave me the company name, homespriceline.com and when I asked about calling back using the same 800#, he gave me a number for his direct line. When I did a search for that number, it comes back as a cell number with Sprint... Go with your instince people! When I searched for homesprincelinelcom, I found this discussion. :-) Power of the Internet can be good and sometimes not so much!

Same thing as the caller above same details. I spoke with a Richard from HPL as well, I was very skeptical from the get go seeing that he didn't formerly introduce himself or his company, I had to ask for it halfway into the conversation. Then he went on to tell me about how his sister from Miami just bought a home in Henderson, NV
I told him that I would feel more comfortable talking to him with my fiancee and we could go over the other details when we spoke later this evening. He said he had church that he had to attend but would be available after that until 10pm. We called and got a voicemail.
He gave me the number 310-409-5385
The number I called was 800-594-7238

Wow I'm so glad I just looked here you guys always help me out on this site and I should start looking before I call numbers just for this...
Cause I just got of the phone with "Richard" he said it like $250 to sign up or something and he could give me a discount 60 dollers if I do it today only but any other time would be regular price and I told him how we were thinking about rentin before we buy so we have somewhere to go till we can get the home and he kept going off on all the cost and it was stupid cause I'm goin to be renting were one month is free and deposot isn't even half the cost of he rent and he kept tellng me I have to pay application fees and 1000 of dolles just to move in he needed to stop when i told hom our deposit is like $200 and that was it, but he gave me his number to call back - 310 - 409 - 5385 -
the only other thing is I didnt like how they made the ad look like someone really did it not a company fake pix of a house and all didnt even know what city I was callin for!

I called just to ask a few questions about an ad I saw on craigslist.
The man that helped me ( & I couldnt even tell you his name for the life of me because he blurted it out so fast) was extremely pushy about giving him my credit card information before I could even ask him anything.
He did at least tell me that I would be charged $257 for a registration fee that would be refunded when I buy a home and blah blah blah. I told him that I was not ready or comfortable to give that kind of information out & he went on saying "well what is it? are you broke or something?" & he became very nasty explaing how big of a responsiblity it is to buy a home & if I wasnt even ready to pay a measly $257 then I shouldnt be worried about buying a home. I asked who I was speaking with and he replies " the boogie man & you just wasted my f***ing time!" & hung up on me.
I advice if anyone comes across this phone number esp. in any of the craigslist ads DO NOT call them, & if anything I would flag that ad as a scam. I would hate for anyone to have to deal with such disrespect or fall for this scam.
And may I add that in the begining of the phone call he went on to tell me about how great theyre customer service is....YEAH RIGHT!

It's Anchor House Financial... they want $199 for a list or foreclosed properties that you can get for FREE elsewhere... and they give you NOTHING in return. These thieving parasites need to be stopped.

It's a SCAM!! They have posts on craigslist in many different cities throughout the nation. I wish there was something we could do about these scammers. We need a special prison just for them. They destroy peoples lives!!!

Thanks. I thought so.

They have an ad up on craigslist about house forclosures. be wary of this, they are not a real service. the automation is a good imitation to make you fall for their scam by trying to seem legit. don't trust it.
