Call fom Associated Creditors Exchange. Are they a legimate company

Dear Spitfire:
One man from  Associated Creditors Exchange called me also (they way they did to you)
an hour ago today. He said his name is Bob with ID No. 45004. He told me my name & telephone number was given as reference, and was asking me about somebody. I asked him who he was
and which company he represents. He said the only information he could give is his name (Bob) and
as to his company he said, it is not the matter that he was calling me about. So I told him, I cannot
give you any information, since you could not identify yourself to me anyhow. He answered very rudely saying, alright then, if you will not cooperate I will be calling you until you cooperate. I got shocked from his answer, and I retorted "you got the nerve to say that?" And I hang up while he was yet talking.
A little later, I called the number registered on my phone -1800-280-3800. An operator answered thanking me for calling Associated Creditors Exchange. That's how I know the company. Then a certain George answered on my phone and the same thing happened. Asking me who I am. I said I need to speak to this Bob because he called me in my sleep as I am sick - (heart ailment) and I need to find out the reason for his calling me. Somehow this George called Bob and I overheard him asking
Bob for his ID No. and Bob answered 45004 and finally he said "Bob you have a phone call".Bob was at the top of his voice when he answered me. Very, very rude saying what I am doing is against Federal Law by not cooperating. I answered him, so now you are intimadating me and I do not even know you. I told him I am sick, he woke me up. He hang up

My uncle was 52 and I was 12 at the time we conceived Greg Hollstein. And this is what I have to say about him. He works for this evil company that steals and cheats people.

Greg Hollstein will never do anything for anyone but himself. in fact, if you ever go out with him in a group after work, you will notice that no one at the bar likes him. No one ever likes him. How can anyone like some coke-head who shoots junk between his toes and gossips? Really?a man who gossips? This is no man. He is the first to tattle, to run to the bosses, to spread rumors about people just to make himself look better, but we all know, it is impossible to polish a turd. Well, just realize this is no man. This is the guy, who even though he has a college diploma, he is no where near educated. He is trained, like a seal at the zoo, or a Nazi. He is immoral, unethical and his questionable hygiene is laughable: you all recognize that knock-off old spice cologne. If you think he?s bald and getting a gut at this age; just wait he will only get creepier and creepier looking, He will wear more jewelry and put even more armor-all on that already shiny and ever-expanding forehead. And his wardrobe? Who knew all the worst trends of the 70s, 80s and 90s could come together to create the vomit-look of Greg Hollstein.
Greg  has been upset ever since Dawson?s Creek was cancelled. Thank goodness he has Glee! And even though his favorite boy bands have disbanded and moved on to actual careers, at least Greg can still download his Maroon Five and Dance to his favorite Pink tunes.
He is in fantasy sports leagues because he never played a competitive sport in his life. Fantasy sports leagues aren?t much of a jump from his dungeons and dragons habits. All of this has turned into weird gaming compulsions no one over who has reached puberty should be interested in. It?s odd though, because he was born a hermaphrodite and still has both male and female sex organs, so technically, by now, he has reached puberty twice. Granted, he has a needle dick that couldn?t satisfy a gnat, however, his cumbersome va**na is something that even a sperm whale may find to be a little loose. At best his floppy little wiener looks Like a roll of dimes that is missing $2.80. At best his va**na looks like The Hairy version of the mammoth Cave System in Kentucky.
The easiest way to put him in his place is to call him Greg-Greg. Say it like he?s a naughty child, ?Oh, Greg-Greg, you stuck the gerbil up your anal cavity again.? Say it like he?s the guy who came in his pants the second he touches a woman: ?Oh Greg-Greg, you can?t handle the female form.?

THE PERSON CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER ARE DEFINITELY RUDE. THEY LOVE TO THREATEN YOU AND SCARE YOU! HOW WOULD YOU EXPECT SOMEONE LIKE ME TO ENTERTAIN YOUR PHONE CALLS IF YOU'RE NOT POLITE AT ALL. REMEMBER! THE PEOPLE YOU'RE CALLING ARE IN
FINANCIAL TROUBLE AND THEY NEED HELP NOT A SCARE FROM YOU GUYS! PLEASE REPORT THIS CO. TO A CONSUMER COMPLAINT DEPT. THEY NEED PROPER TRAINING FOR CUSTOMER COLLECTIONS ETHICS.

I'm from Tuscaloosa, AL, and i had several calls from this company.  I called them back and they told me I owed money to US Bank. I paid my defaulted credit card. Although them being firm with me they were fair and cut me a deal. I cant complain they were just doing there job.

It's a fake company.  Here's what I suggest doing when they call you:

1. Start a casual conversation with them TOTALLY off topic.
   Examples: "Hey how's the weather today?"
                  "Do you like dogs?  I LOVE dogs!  They so cute and furry and fluffy and yay!" (try to sound as high as possible)
2. Speak in a different language or use an accent.
   Example: (with and Indian accent) "Your daughter come down to my house today and kick my dog!"
3. When they ask for <insert name that they ask for> say "hold on, one moment" then get up a music playing program and play some music for them.
   Perfect example: Play Lady Gaga's "Telephone" (especially the chorus which says "STOP CALLING!  STOP CALLING!  I DON'T WANNA TALK ANYMORE!"...works perfectly in this situation)
4. Yell "F*** YOU!" into the phone and hang up.
5. Say something completely random...and hang up if you want.
   Example:
                 Caller: "Hi, I'm <name 1> looking for <name 2>.  <Name 3> has you listed as a reference, and we need to get a hold of <name 3>, so could you please tell <name 3> to call us back at 1 (800) 280-3800?"
                  You: "No one sees the Wizard!" -hang up-
6. Be creative.  It's fun to mess with these do***ebags!

This place has been calling me for the last two weeks on an EMERGENCY ONLY cellphone I carry, the number of which I've given to only four family members, and have only had for a few months.  I owe no money to anyone, so they're obviously trying to call a previous owner of this phone number.  I've never answered any of their calls, and they leave no voice mails.

I answered simply with "hello" and let them rant off on me. Once they take a breath, I ask them "What are you wearing?" I then say "I'm not wearing any underwear" and begin snickering like a disturbed pervert – which then gets them to swear at me and hang up in disgust.  They don't call back after that because employees can refuse such sexual harassment in the work place so they can’t get anyone to call – which is the best part because no indecent charges can get laid as they are calling me

I spoke to this "gentleman" calling from associated creditors exchange a.k.a "ace" in my case it was for an account with beneficial. Extrememly rude.

I also got a call at my office about a debt from a company I used to work for that went out of business of which I had no ownership or financial interest.  I tried to explain that to him and he rudely interrupted me and said I needed to man up and take care of my debt or go to jail.  I asked him to send documentation showing my name was on the debt and he hung up.  This guy is a scammer… be aware!!!

I keep receiving calls from this number 800-280-3800 the man’s name is Greg Evens he said he’s from Law Financial. First he’s calling and is extremely rude, calling me JOEY real sarcastically, I don’t appreciate this at all only my friends call me Joey, I don’t know this guy. He’s telling me to grow some balls, calling me chicken, saying I’m running and hiding. I don’t have a credit card with the bank he’s talking about or with this balance. This whole thing sounds like fraud to me. This man has been harassing me for about a month now. Anything that can be done to get him to leave me alone will be greatly appreciated. He says his extention is 44083

Long lost friend received a call on her recorder for myself. Really shook her up. Only said call immediately, use her name as a refernce. Never did. Tried to call the number back and never got through to August Katum 800-280-3800 x44007.

From my sister (in another state): "got a strange phone call. The man said <my husband's name> listed me as a reference. So I became friendly with the caller thinking this was about a job. But the man was asking me things about John that were odd, like, does he live in a gated community? What’s his phone number (if this were a reference for a job they would have that info). He asked if you guys were doing okay. I didn’t answer any of the questions. I just told him I did not know who he was and didn’t feel comfortable answering. He gave me a number for John to call but then said he doesn’t have to call. Very weird. He said it concerned a legal matter. Here’s the info: 1-800-280-3800 Kevin Karcher ext 8316"

Guy called and said he was investigating a case and needed to speak with me to get "my statement". It was a trap to contact me and I am going through a BK

Got the same calls. "It is very important that you get back with me". How F****** unprofessional! If I had the F****** Money you would be the last people I paid.  You can't take what I don't have! The absolute worst these people can do to you is garnish your wages or freeze your bank account. Never leave money in your account! Pay people with money orders, cashier's checks, etc. Go directly to the bank where the checks are written to cash checks. Being rude will not get them their money, and threats do not work. They are violating the rules and they THINK they can get away with it! Call me again you F******* and I will file a lawsuit against your dumb a**es!

These people called looking for a relative and said that I was listed as a reference (I an not).  They asked me for phone numbers, etc which I would not provide.  Because I would not cooperate, they called me names like "stupid a**" and "dumb a**"  said I was worthless, etc.  They called me in the privacy of my home twice now to yell obscenities at me and I've never owed anyone any money in my life! I'm logging this down so I can take them to court. I think it's $500 per pop for each phone call logged.

A guy named Christopher at 800-280-3800 ext.4106 called and left an urgent message to call back concerning money I owe on a credit card with Atvanta.  When I called back and explained my financial situation...unemployed with no money at the moment.  After talking for several minutes, he became very abusive, yelling and cussing. I hung up on his a**!  What a real jerk!

I recieved the same phone call from a guy stating he was from "Associated Creditors exchange" he was looking for somone else in the house. Iasked for his contact info and he said to call 800-280-3800 x8316 and ask for martin. when my friend called the number they said there was not a martin there and did not know who made the call. Sounds like a SCAM

these people are the rudest in the world.  Called my job and told me to tell my boss he was a theif and that he should live life in the light and not the dark.  When I told him I would not say that to my boss he started cussing at me and telling me I was stupid and probably worked at a strip joint.  Our company is filing a complaint against him.  His name or the one he gave was Craig Evans and he gets the award for the rudest bas**** in the world.

This number continues to call my cell phone wanting to speak to "Randall Kirby" (and if you are not Randall Kirby please hang up) I have accepted the call just to TELL them I am not Randal Kirby and I would appreciate them to stop calling. I just got another call from them while travelling 70+ on the Interstate. I'm an old fart, I do not answer cell phone calls while driving. By the time I got to a rest area and pulled over they had left 11 voice mail messages. That is on MY dime.
