My Mom has received no less than 19 calls from this number, since 9/19/07. She finally answered one, and no one said anything on the other end. She also feels this is a scam in progress.

We don't answer 800 or unavailable calls, but this one left no message and I was curious. Called it by blocking my phone number to have a msg. say "Thank you for calling BANKS of America". Ran a search online under the plural name and came up empty. Gut says it is a scam in progress & glad I didn't answer. Anyone know anything about this?
