Tis' the season to paper parking lots! I've never had a card with Macys but that didn't keep them calling my business line every day for two months this summer.  

Something like: "macys products exploit child labor", on the windshields of 500 cars on black friday might make an adequate point.  

Don't forget to do your part this week. If you can't do 500, do 100.

-Only 3 states verbal permission can be given to stop calls: MA, OH, OR -- All other states must send in writing that they no longer want to receive calls.

Now, if it's a wrong number that's different, but we have ways of telling if it's really a wrong number or not, so if you lie we'll just call you back until you send it in writing.

I get them as well.
In most States these repeatative calls are illegal under Harassment by communications or address.. This also applies to those do***e bags from collection agencies whether you owe them or not, once advised to quit calling it constitutes a crime to continue. Report it to your local police and continue to do so every time until something is done about it !!! Also if it turns out to be the person that is one step lower than scum; a telemarketer, you can report these violations to your prospective Attorney Generals office if you are on a no call list.

Keep getting calls from this number several times a day. They never leave a message.

this is harassment through and through. I get called at least 5 times a day but I never answer it. It comes in as Toll Free and I ignore it, but they never give up!

It's Macy's but I believe Citibank/Citicards is handling the Macy's credit accounts.

This is from Citicard, sometimes about a balance they want you to pay.

I don't have anything from Citicard. No debt at all. On my fax caller ID it says Macys. Have you called this number back to find out if it really is Citicard, because I see that your caller ID is "out of area."

I just called to verify who has this number. It was a recording that says Macys. This is definitely Macys that is calling you from 800-289-0027. Not Citicard.

The recording says Macy's.  I only received one call so far.  Is there a place to report such harassment if it happens again ?

Apparently Citicards handles Macy's accounts now.  She said she was calling from Citicards regarding a Macy's account.

I keep getting calls all day from this number and everytime I pick up the receiver and say hellow, I get silence on their end.  I have no idea who they are.

I keep getting calls too.  I never received a bill from anyone, and they will not leave a message.  Effing cowards I say.

It's Macy's collection all right.  I get 4 or 5 calls a day even on the weekend.  I sent them a certified letter to prove I don't owe the balance they say I owe and requested they contact me by mail or email.  They won't do this.  They just keep calling and not leaving any message.  It will be a cold day in you-know-where before I contact them again.

Relentless calls that I'm unable to retun.

I just got a new telephone number yesterday and did not give it out to anyone. Got a call from 800-289-0027 first thing at 9am on a Sunday. They did not leave a message.

I believe there is a special level of hell reserved for such a--h-l-s.

It's macy's collections. Not sure how they got this number but they got it.

Call a million x's a day.

Stored this number in my addy book, set ring to silent, noted on my vmail message that MUST leave message.  (I know they heard the request, because a rep mumbled "We know the number's good", and my vmail caught him.)  

After 2 more weeks of calls, I called the number.  Got a pre-recorded Macy's service message, then was routed to what I guess is a foreign call center. Was asked my Macy's acct #.  (Don't have one.)  Said I wanted off their call list.  Rep requested phone #, could not pull the # up on system. Asked my name, couldn't pull it up either (but given her mispronunciation, she probably didn't spell it right).  Then asked for my Bloomingdale's acct #.  (Don't have one.)  Then asked if I had a Visa acct and would I provide #?  (Heck no.)

I'll be pursuing this directly through the FTC -- too close to phishing for comfort.

This number calls me early and late morning, noon, early and late afternoon, evening, night, late night...its ridiculous actually.

This number calls my cell phone at least 10 times a day.  I won't answer because I do not know who it is - they will not leave a message.
