called did not anwser and did not leave a message

I want to stop this caller.

Rang; no called ID; did not leave message.  I never answer if I do not recognize the number/or the caller is someone I would speak to.

a man's voice called from this number requesting info about a name and then requesting my name, I refused to release the info, he was very rude and threatened that the talk is recorded. When I asked where he is calling from, his answer is unidentable. Upon couples of requests, he said he is calling on behalf of CIBC.

Be careful do not release info to them.

Keep calling, never leave message, call any time day or night, I have young children, at they wake them up at night with the phone ringing at 9 pm at night, and call on Sundays too.

No caller ID except for the number, nobody there the one time I picked up.

According to Google, 4 years ago this number was associated with a phone campaign to protest restrictions on Internet gambling.

Your Socialistic attitude will be the death of our country and it's freedoms! Work for what you want, nobody owes you anything! They are Fundraising and therefor allowed to call. I do not agree with it, but by law thy are in the right! There some change we can use!

I don't think that it matters if you are on a no call list. I think that only applies to sales calls and not surveys or non profit calls.

answered call from this #, no one spoke for 12 seconds, then they hung up. I do not need to be annoyed by someone or some company that does not even have the courtesy to identify theirselves.

I just called the 202-778-3200 line and they put me through to the division that is calling on the 800-289-1136 and they are removing me from the list... Hope this helps for others.  I'll be back if it didn't work for me...

Robo call with no option to request removal from list. If you call the number, you are asked to leave a message, with no option to escape to an operator.

The number is run by "Campaign For an American Solution" at http://www.americanhealthsolution.org, a group that opposes current health care reform efforts.

According to the site, they are operated by America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).  http://www.ahip.org

I called AHIP at 202.778.3200 and asked to speak to someone regarding repeated telemarketing calls to my home phone.  

I was placed in the voice mail of a media relations representative.

I recently reported another harrassing phone call to the FTC. I did get someone on the line and when I asked about the effectivness of the do not call list and told him we were on it, he told me that THE DNC LIST ONLY WORKS FOR TELEMARKETERS. Just thought I would pass this on.

Non-profit?  Hardly!  They are a lobbying group!

Campaign for an American Solution.  Has called several times in the last few months.  It's a recording, so no live person to tell "DO NOT CALL ME BACK"!

this robo caller, united health care reform, who cares, I dont need them calling me for my opinion on health care reform, all I know is that insurance is un affordable for veryone, and the right thing to do is to give all americans free coverage, period.Its the citizens right and our governments responsibility to do it.

In the meantime do not call citizens, your csalls are unwelcome and just as you do not answer your 800-289-1136, neither will I, DELETE!!!!!!

THEY HAVE CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES.  WE NO LONGER ANSWER UNKNOWN CALLS.
IF WE ARE HOME WHEN THE CALL COMES IN, WE QUICKLY LIFT THE RECEIVER AND QUICKLY  PUT IT BACK DOWN.
HOPEFULLY, THEY WILL THINK THAT OUR NUMBER IS NOT IN SERVICE

Robo call with no way to request for our number to be put on their "do not call" list.

They have called seeral times in the past 3 days always 6-8-pm Caller ID says unavailable. The last time, I picked up and no one was there.

They are a non-profit organization, therefore are exempt from honoring the do not call registry.

1-800-289-1136 has called my home 4 days in a row with minimum of 4 calls a day.  They never pick up or talk.  I'm disgusted.  How do I get them to stop.  I am also on the National DO Not call list.

Same here.  They've called twice now.

We have seen this number, 800-289-1136, on our caller ID and have been puzzled.  No one was able to try to answer so we don't know what they would have said.

However, as Larry said above, this is the toll free number listed on the webpage info@americanhealthsolution.org.  I have anonymously emailed that group and asked them to honor the Do Not Call Registry or we will start filing complaints and asking for fines against them.
