This number called me and I didn't answer. 20 minutes later, they called again. I answered and it was a recording telling me I had won $100 and instructing me to go to their website to claim it. Then it hung up. Ugh.

12/2011     same here,  could be student loan collection,   talk radio says that debt cant be wiped out, even with bankruptcy-?   im in arizona.

They continue to call my house looking for someone when I tell them they have the wrong number and to not call my house they wait a few days and call from another number.  Today they skye me from a city near my house to make me think they was from the town.  When I called them back they said they was from Transworld.  I told them that I had look up the number and that they was a scam and hung up the phone on them.  They called back stated that (Ms. Parker) that she was not finished talking to me because she wanted to leave a message for the person.  She was told again not to call my house and that the person did not live at this resident.  A few hours later a new number called from another location and was told the same thing.  I am so sick and tired they call every person with the same last name as the person that they are trying scam to scare the people into giving them information.  I heard that if you have ever taken out a payday loan this is where they get most of their numbers from.

Holy Land Foundation  HLF, Calls and asks me for a donation of $5 to $100.00.  The person is male with a strong Arabic accent.  Please stop calling.  Helen D.

Robert...they can't do that....there was a man in Texas that sued the collection agency harrassing him and he won 1.5 mil. dollars!!  Threats are illegal and they can be sued.  Regardless if you owe the debt or not, that treatment is wrong.  Take action!

Got ANOTHER call from 800-291-4367. It is Trans World Systems Collections. They have called serveral time and never left a voice mail until today. The message wanted me to call back and ask for Wendy Hadden.

calls I receive each day:  1800-291-4367, 1402-982-0760, 1866-531-5020, 1803-237-9332, 1603-636-1376, 1662-997-9876,  many many more.  Must stop.

In Texas you can not call a perons place of employment.  If they do..........they can be taken to court.  You can not call over a certain amount of times in the day either.  Too many calls is considered herassment (spelling) and they can again be taken to court.

I would record that one.  Sounds like you might have some money coming to you.  A debt collection company who breaks the law is better than playing the lotto..............When they threaten or lie to you...........Money...money.......money.

Credit Management services.  Bill Collector!!!  Best advice.. get a fax machine... put on two rings... Auto Answer.. They will stop calling.. Along with the Tele Marketers..

I get a call from this number at LEAST twice a day, and I was very much annoyed by it
I answered and a computer voice says:

Then hangs up
Everytime it calls thats what it sayss

call them ,I put them on my friends and familey plan .This means all my calls to them are free .Then i block their number. call and call and call ,you do not have to say anything .just keep calling it  works very well

I just got done reading todays msn page on debt collectors and what they are doing is illeagal and you can sue them, maybe we can do a class action against the jerks!

this number calls me everyday between 8-8:30 and when i asnwered an automated message says "good bye" ugh - soo annoying.

I get a call from this number everynight between 8-9pm.  I never answer, they never leave a message.  When I call back I ALWAYS get a message saying "You have reached us after normal business hours.  Please call back during normal business hours." It doesn't matter what time of day or what day of the week its ALWAYS the same recording.

They are breaking the law and people need to file this.. You can go to IC3.gov and file a report with the fbi online to put a stop to these jokers.. There are FCC laws about the use of the phone for searches and collections that they are not fallowing

If you are on Monster or Career Builder that will send you a notice of a job that fits you perfectly. Do not respond.

They do list it as Transworld but they do not notify you that they are attempting to collect a debt.

Everyone should keep in mind MOST of the debt held by companies like this is way past the time that they can sue you or go after you legally. But be careful. The wrong action can start the clock again on Credit Reports.

Its funny when they keep on calling but only once a month they leave a message and still then its a woman with a British accent on the recording! I don't trust these companys!

These outfits have bought the debt--regardless of whether it has been cleared--and their goal is to get something via intimidation over the phone.

I've been getting calls from this number for a week or so. They don't leave a message. If anyone wants any info from me, I would tell them to put their request in writing.

Some man by the name of Emanuel called an upstairs neighbor of mine Asking for me.. The neighbor happens to be 92 years of age  and whos health has been poor as of late, It happened that one of her daughters was there taking care of her needs who recieved the call. They said  no one by that named lived in that apartment but the lady down stairs name was the name he may have been looking for.

This gripes me so much. Yes I may have some debt issues i need to take care of and im working on achieving them as soon as i can. But to call neighbors and bother them is  just out of the question.
I dont like their attitude when they call me, they are rude and make you feel like the scum of the earth. I will get my debts paid  WHEN  I am able to. I'm not a dead beat. But this is the last straw, to bother other people is just not right.

I get the same thing two and three times a day. No one answers yada yada. Don't know why they're calling don't care. I'm going to try to block the number as well.

I've received a call from this number, but they wouldn't say what was it about, nor who they are.  They mentioned my ex-husband's name -but one of his sons has the same name, too.

I just need to know who is calling and why.  I'm very concern because it might be relevant to my welfare or my child's.  Thanks for any information,

This place calls us about 30 times a wek and will not stop.. We have no clue to whom they need and they never answer there phone when we call back. At this time we are taking the case to the state gov office and filing on them for this form abuse to the FCC phone system. I am going to file with IC3.gov and every place I can to get them fined and closed.
