They will let you opt out. You just have to go to their website, log into your account, and there is a place to opt out of those phone calls. If you cannot find it, you can also just call them and tell them.

Straight Talk wireless, canceled my account & they called to remind me to pay my bill ! Hello...

They called me too, I just called back and listened to the recorded call.  Press 2 when prompted to opt out of receiving calls to your number in the future.

It IS a legit call if you have the service, which I do.  It IS a LEGIT COMPANY.  If you don't have the service, then report them or call them and ask to be removed from their list.

I'm with Straightalk too and not only do they call my landline...like they did just now...but they start reminding me 10 DAYS AHEAD OF MY DUE DATE...to refill.  They also do it via text and email.  The only reason I'm with them is because Boost Mobile is pricey ($55 a month for a smart phone) and they changed their service by slowing down their speeds to 3G, instead of allowing their members to use 4G.  Yet, they sell those phones?  Straightalk is ten bucks cheaper, but these continuous reminders are ridiculous!

This a recording from Straight Talk.  It's a legit business.  If they are calling you either you have an account with them or someone who had number before you had an account with them.  I'm sure if you contact them, they will remove you from their calling list.  If not, then block them.

Called this back because I was getting too annoyed at them calling me when I am on the "Do Not Call" list and listened to their message. Chose 2-to be taken off their list. Hopefully this works!

Ahhh....I was wondering who this was calling constantly. I've been getting so many calls from 1-800 numbers lately that I quit answering them. Sorry to tell you all but if you have an account with Tracfone aka Straight Talk aka Safelink then the laws that apply to the Do Not Call List is null and void because you do business with this company and therefore it is not considered telemarketing. It is annoying yes, but legally you cannot do anything about it until you drop your service with them. If the calls bother you, call customer service and ask them to stop calling. Straight Talk's Customer Service hasn't been that difficult to reach but good luck with that if you have a Safelink or Tracfone phone... try reaching them on their fan pages on Facebook, you'll have better and faster results, plus it won't eat up your minutes while you sit on the phone getting the run around from their ridiculously complicated automated service.
PS - leaving a message on this page for them to stop calling won't do you any good. This is not their webpage. ;)

I just called the number back and the opt out #3, we'll see if it works.

If u cancel your acct the reminder calls stop. If you never had service, then someone used your # to set up their acct. If so call comp. & remove ur #.

Its only ur cell company, Straight Talk, reminding u 2 renew ur minutes. If u cancel, then the phone calls stop.

this phone number is from STRAIGHT TALK , wal mart phone cards, they remind you if you have run out of minutes or welcome you back  when you refill and inform you of their bonus offers etc services , this isnt an annoyance to me they only called once or twice

I was used to get so ticked about this until we got a phone recently that I can set to block numbers that I do not want calling me. Once I establish that the call is bogus I just click to save it to my block list. Now when they call it will ring once and then show up as a blocked call. I can still look on my caller ID to see the number that was called. The company will be fined for each complaint so that is the best way to get taken off their mailing list. If I can I take the time to report each call.

alot of 800 numbers call daily. very annoying. I was told to turn on my "no soliciation" and this would stop the callers. It saves you from answering, if it is a person on the other end, they have to press one otherwise it turns off!

why don't they call the tracfone (instead of my home phone)?  Do they know minutes are up.
