i continually get calls several times a day fromo 800 295 7193 asking for the lady of the house. when i tell tem she isnt here they hang up- till the next time. Tonight I told them not to call me and I would report them for unwanted calls especially wheni had signed up for the do nor call list.

how on earth do i get these calls stopped. I did call the # back but you just reach a recorded message and cannot leave a message

This # calls & does not leave a message.  I call back and it says"marketing research or sales call", but no one answers.  Want this to stop as I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

I'm tired of the 3 or 4 phone calls a day from these people...Cant someone just shut the number down.  Its says its marketing research but you cant call them back and have them put you on a do not call list.
I hope the man who works for the goverment can do something about it.  It's getting annoying.

Pure annoyance-no validity-how do we get this to state and federal authoities???

Number calls 5 times a day or more for the past 2 weeks. I answered the third day thinking it was a company we deal with, but not after that. When you answer nothing there, then it hangs up. I tried to call back but it is a mans voice recorded message stating that we've been contacted by a marketing croup. Can somebody please help me, make them stop?

When I called back, got a recording "you have been contacted for marketing research or a sales call".  Since I'm on the do not call list, I filed a complaint with donotcall.gov

I am so tired of getting calls from this number all day everyday! They just called 4 times in a row!

I am receiving these calls about 4-5 times per day.  I answer they ask for my husband, my husband answers, they ask for me.  We ask to take a message, they say NO and hang up.

I have filed a complaint with the FCC.  I suggest everyone do that and maybe we can put a stop to these idiots.

Received call this afternoon.  I picked up, said hello, the guy said "Is this Amy?" - no hello first.  Opened with that.  I said yes, and he hung up.  Very strange and sketchy. I won't pick up if they call again.

An Asian sounding woman said she calling from a radio station about a contest and wanted my name and address. I told her I wasn't interested and hung up.

Calls repeatedly, rings once or twice.  its driving me crazy!

calls and waits for answering machine to pick up before hanging up.  doesn't leave msg.  annoying because answering machine then runs for around a minute (with loud tone) before clicking off.

They have called numerous, numerous times.  When I answer, no one is there and they just hang up.  I have even tried to return the call but all I get is a recording and then disconnected.

Keep getting calls from this number.  When I call the number it replies marketing research and hangs up.  Like to know who is calling. How they get the number and my phone is on the no-calling list and it is registered.

what can we do about these idiots calling

I've been getting calls from this number for about a month now.  They are ruthless... they call as early as 9am and have received calls from them AFTER 9pm, which is illegal within itself.  I get as many as 6 calls per day.  First I never answered, then when I did to tell them off, I also just heard a click, and that's happened several times.  I will not answer now, but it continues... I work on toll-free numbers for a living; I'll look deeper into this.  I do believe this is an automated dialer, and when you answer, it's taking down time/day info for a future call.

On 7/25 I reported to the FCC a week's worth of calls from this number - no message left and hanging up if I answer. On 7/26, after the 4th call on that one day, I answered and the caller asked for me by name. I asked who was calling and was told, "You have your discover card with us. Are you so & so? I need to talk to you." I replied, "Why do you need to talk to so & so?" The caller hung up. No calls again as of 7/27 but that's happened before.

I get one call a day every day from 800-295-7193.

How can we stop this jerk?

This number has been calling me about three times a day for the last month.  I don't answer it, and after my machine picks up, there is no message.  I'm on the Do Not Call list.  Whoever is calling from this number needs to be shut down immediately.

Keep getting calls from this number with caller ID display of "Tollfree number." Three calls so far just today beginning at 9:15am. 2nd caller, around 10:30am, was told the call was being traced and to stop calling this number. Five hours later the same number called a third time. So...I screamed bloody murder into the phone.

I have received numerous unsolicited calls from this 800-295-7193. This has occurred over a period of a few months.  I never receive a response when I say hello.....just a few clicks on the other end.

We have gotten 6 calls from this number in the last 2 days, sometimes fairly late in the evening.  A few times I did not answer because it said toll free call.  Last night I did answer and it was Discover Card wanting to tell me about some new service they have.  I said I was not interested, asked the lady to remove my number from her call list and hung up.  Today that number called again!  As always, no message.
