yes, the almost professionals and business ethics, what's that? Yes, deceptive and unfair business practices calling family, friends, elderly, vulnerable, and uninformed. Predatory tactics that they didn't know you were family, acting like they can call you with undisclosed calls because they didn't know, telling you you're not associated to any account because they didn't know, how they received your number from a vendor because they didn't know. The entire industry has their predatory cowards under what ever network of call centers, skip tracing, alliances, and affiliations. There's no excuse for predatory, cowardly actions against the elderly, vulnerable, and uninformed. This company: http://www.bbb.org/knoxville/business-reviews ... oxville-tn-9818 or this one http://www.bbb.org/central-florida/business-r ... ndo-fl-90201187 they both have numbers to call and an area to make a complaint to their BBB's.

"We collect for MANY bad checks, doctors, cash and title loan companies, utility companies, local governments,  for the court systems, apartment complexes, cable/internet companies, car lots, finance companies, and many many more. "

Funny you should mention that. My Mom & FIL are both nurses, and I'm very familiar with hospital billing. You & I both know that many hospitals send accounts to collections after 90 days whether payments are being made to the account or not.

I cant hardly read all that grammar-less toilet paper ranting!
But two stupid comments stand out;

?Remember when a debt [sic] hss been placed with a third party collections that means the client that were collecting for has already tried to collect from you.?

What a crock of buffoon crap. These bailed-out lenders barely lift a finger to work with the Consumer, before seeking out the most despicable third way SOL abusers.
Chase and Citi-bank have used, may still use, one of the most fraudulent, abusive, sick Missouri two-bit collectors ever- Client Services Inc. How do I know, not being the correct person they say they are looking for? Read on-

?No collector in the right
mind is going to disclose the nature of their
call because its not your business if you are
not that person.?

What!   Say that again?
Its ironic, Not one third way had OUR personal info, (until the State AG office became involved).   However the third ways always GAVE out personal info on several Consumers that previously owned the test phone numbers- FIVE FIRST NAMES and TWO LAST NAMES- Two different families!  They were entirely obvious they are slimy, collectors! Once again, calling the WRONG people, one idiot ?collector? even spells out the last name of the person they say they are looking for. I have it recorded on tape!

The only advanced degree you have is a BS in BS. Collectors like you blow a lot of smoke & count on your target being an idiot. You're pissed off that people are learning their rights & are learning how to spot fraudulent and/or bogus debt collectors. Your minimum wage a** is dependent on trying to scam enough commission money to make your weekly car payment.
To your intended targets I'll say this. Know your rights as a consumer under the FDCPA. Be aware of the statutes of limitations in your state regarding debt. Always DEMAND a notice of validation be delivered to you by mail. NOT e-mail or fax. DEMAND the name and address of the collector. He is required by law to provide you with that information. Know that it is NEVER your job to prove you do not owe a debt. It is the collectors OBLIGATION to prove that you do, by law. Be aware that consumer attorneys are easily found and that they will work on a contingency basis...no money up front. Log and record all calls from a collector. Tell him, or her, that you are doing so. If you're being harassed at work, explain the situation to your boss. Be sure your employer is aware that only ONE call to a workplace is allowed & that one call is to ONLY confirm your employment. Know that the release of personal information to a third party is a violation of federal regulations. If a collector is calling your cell phone, tell him to stop. By law he is required to do so. Never be intimidated by a collector, legitimate or not. He is beneath you. He is working a job that is held in contempt by all.
If a collector is violating the FDCPA he has given himself away. He is a bottom feeder attempting to collect on debts that he knows are time-barred, invalid or plain bogus. There's more to know. It can all be found by perusing this site. Become an educated consumer. Then become one of us. People who know these scammers. We know where & how they buy their paper. We know the tactics they use. We know the kind of people they are and many of us have met them personally. In court rooms, in offices & in Judges chambers. I've met many. I've never been sued. I have no debt save the debt I maintain that is to my advantage. My credit rating is "Excellent", my credit score is 800+. But I have a hatred of people who survive by using others. Fraudulent, bogus and most 3rd party collectors are parasites. They deserve exactly what they're worth...NOTHING!

I also has advanced degrees. I am very good at trolling. YED IT IS TRUE. I myself have education... I have been to fourth grade... and probably will again. Perhaps I'll learn the difference between "its" and "it's" next time! I'll probably get another advanced degree! I think I'm not "to get collected from" but that doesn't mean I'm going to "ho into further legal actions".

I suggest, my friend, that you read things before you *post* them if "U" don't want to look like an idiot.

Really?  LOL!  I'm sure that is not the first lie you have told today!

Did you write the following?

"Remember when a debt hss (sic) been placed with a third party collections that means the client that were (sic)  collecting for has already tried to collect from you .... or that you think tge (sic) insurancr (sic) company should have paid for that $25 aspirin ...  YED (sic) LEGALLY....FOR GOD SAKE READ THINGS BEFORE U (sic) SIGN THEM."

I will let you know I work there.  I have advanced degrees.  I am very good at getting my clients the monies rightfully during them. Remember when a debt hss been placed with a third party collections that means the client that were collecting for has already tried to collect from you.  Many of these accounts are already several years old.  At that point in time Mr Nice Guy is over because you haven't paid to begin with.  Do not expect to get goods or services from another individual or business and not pay for it.  It doesn't matter if you didn't like the bedside manner of the doctor you saw or the attitude of the rep at the cable company or that your kids were hungry when you wrote thst bad check or that you think tge insurancr company should have paid for that $25 aspirin....you signed responsiblity for it regardless of outcomes of disputes and such.  We collect for MANY bad checks, doctors, cash and title loan companies, utility companies, local governments,  for the court systems, apartment complexes, cable/internet companies, car lots, finance companies, and many many more.   I am a high pressure bill collector and I have a very high success rate.  It is a game to me.  You would not believe the reasons people will give you why they can't pay a bill.   Families with sufficient means to pay.  There are legit reasons, but over time the bull crap detecter rings immediately.   I offer funding solutions as those mentioned.  Those are a courtesy by those collectors.  Its not a law or policy to offer it.  Remnember this, any debt 5 or plmore days past due can report on your credit and that collector can tag you with the tick of a tag each time they call you.    I myself have bills...and have been in collections...and probably will again.   My suggestion to your whiny a**  is to pay your bills.  To those that play games and pretend to be other people it makes it worse.  If you falsely misrepresent that you are the person in debt its tagged as if you are a person who has made the decision to refuse to pay so its not
smart to do that.  No collector in the right
mind is going to disclose the nature of their
call because its not your business if you are
not that person.  By pretending to be that
person you're going to leave them to ho into
further legal actions.  And for those of you who think that you're not to get collected from just because you refused to give your home address or phone number or employment information think about today's technology and how quickly that information can be obtained legally with one click of a mouse.  YED LEGALLY....FOR GOD SAKE READ THINGS BEFORE U SIGN THEM.

Send them a letter VIA certified mail with return receipt requested demanding they stop calling you at work. This is your right under the FDCPA. If they continue calling after you have proof they received your letter, you can sue them for $1,000 per violation.

These people call me at work, it's like they want to get you fired.  I don't know where they think the money is coming from if there is no job.  They call at my house at all hours of the day and night and on the week-end.  I have a critically ill daughter at home who has almost died twice in the last 2 months and they don't care.  They will call once and then within a few seconds call again.  They must get paid well for being rude.  Maybe if I worked there, no I take that back, I could never treat people like that.  Maybe if they had some compassion they would get further with people.  Never once do they say who they are and who they are with and I want to help you or work with you in the same message.  If they truly mean it more people would go out of their way to pay.  Most people that owe money know they owe it and want to pay it but need help.

Lost so much sleep last night because of these people!! Called me last night and I'm sure, read directly off a script to my voicemail and did it badly. Left the message saying that this was an attempt to collect a debt and that it was very important that I call back "today or tomorrow' and said nothing more. The number they left was 1-800-304-1805, ext. 226. Some woman, because I called back (she caller about 5 minutes before they closed...) and left HER a voicemail and told her I would not give her any credit card info over the phone and that she could call back after I got off work today. Then I spent a couple of HOURS racking my brain to see what I could possibly owe, and couldn't think of ANYthing. Personally, I believe they are trying to scam me and I'm not falling for it. After seeing the other reports here, I am prepared to be just as aggressive as the F.A.S.T. reps want to be!

I recently had to deal with FAST, Inc. I have never in my life dealt with such rude, irrational people.  Long story short, my ex-husband and I got our lines crossed as to who had agreed to pay our daughter's medical bill.  He thought I had paid; I thought he had paid.  After I called to pay the bill, someone called my ex the next day and took payment from him as well.  When I called to try to get the issue resolved, the lady (who indicated she was a supervisor) was VERY rude and wouldn't even let me speak.  She hung up on me twice.   After the first time she hung up, I called back.  When she answered, I told her not to hang up on me again, and she informed me (and I quote) "I ain't yo chile."  She just kept repeating it.  She refused to give me her supervisor's name and gave me a wrong name when I asked for hers, and then hung up on me again.  She told me she was ?Ms. Moore? but told my ex that her name was ?Ms. Clemons.? I called another number for the company and asked for a supervisor.  Angela, the lady who answered the phone, stated that she was a supervisor.  When I asked if everyone was a supervisor, she too, started being rude and irate.  I could hear the other lady in the background making derogatory comments.  The lady refused to give me the name of a supervisor, and then she put me on hold and never returned back to the phone.  I got the name of a "supervisor" when I called to get their attorney's name.  The "supervisor", Tony Davis, was just as rude and uncooperative.  The next day, they cancelled the hold on my ex-husband?s account and used my money to settle the account.  I couldn't believe how unprofessional these people had been.  Apparently there is no accountability for the employees at FAST.  I intend to file a complaint with the Collection Service Board.

No offense, these people are not easy to work with at all and they are not nice. Yes I have an account in collections with them and in no way will they work with me. I have the same sob story as millions do, husband laid off, one income, lots of cc bills, car payment, etc. They tell me everytime I talk to them to ask a family memeber for the money. Do you think if they had it they wouldn't have given it to me before I got into collections? Oh, then I love the one where he told me I should go get a loan to pay off this debt!!! Get another debt to pay off another that I obviously can pay now. I understand it's my obligation to pay this and I fully intend to do so but they need to chill and work with some people.

Just for your infomation out there!  F.A.S.T. is a legit company.  They mostly do work for Kroger, recoupling their losses due to checks that have bounced...I worked with them last year after having to restock my entire home after Hurricane Ike went psycho and hit Kentucky.  I also worked with the above mention collector, Tony Davis, and he did all he could to help me!

Again they are legit and very easy to work with!

I recently got a call from Bobby Key at 865-201-0623...since I didn't know who he was I pretended to be my "sister"...I offered to take a message for myself...he gave me the number 856-201-0623 to return his call...when I explained my "sister" has no way to call him long distance, she has a prepaid phone and is on a fixed income, he gave me the number 800-304-1805...when I inquired as to his extension, he told me "she knows what she did to me!"  I found out from this site he works for F.A.S.T. (Financial Accounts Services Team, Inc.)

five minutes later I got a call from F.A.S.T., and again saying I was my sister, I got the following information...Contact is Tony Davis...Number is 800 304 1805 ex. 208

After receiving a call from those guys I called back to see what is that they wanted. the transcript of the call is something like this:

- Me: Hi I just got a phone call asking me call this number. Can you tell me what this is all about?
-Operator: (Without answering my question) what is you phone number?
-Me: 832-xxx-xxxx
-Operator: Do you know "Jane doe"?
-Me: Can I know first why did you call my number and what this is all about?
-Operator: no, I cannot tell you, just tell me first if you know "Jane Doe".
-Me: No, I don't know her. what does she have to do with me?
-Operator: It's none of your business. (hanged the phone).

I called back, told her to get my number out of their list and she started screaming like a crazy person, that she was done with me and so on... at which point I just told her that she sounds crazy and do not call back.

They are just a high pressure collection agency from what I can tell. And she probably won't get much cooperation from anybody by acting like that. I Hope they never find the erson they were looking for.

A Jeta Derick called a month ago and again yesterday saying that she "Must have a return call from me today" then she leaves the number 1-800-304-1805.  Does not state the reason she called, or the business she represents.  I can hear other phones ringing in the background giving me the impression that it is a phone bank of some kind.  I have not returned the call because I refuse to return a call like this without a reason or a company to back up the person calling.
