They're running this scam in California using 1-800-798-1763.  I called and got a call back from Cherry who had a terrible attitude and was very unprofessional.  When I told her that I already had the software from a previous home job I had done (which I really don't), she hung up on me and I haven't heard from her since.  It's so obvious all they want is your credit card number so they can steal your $.  No way it's legit!  Also, there was no caller ID # and that alone is suspicious if it's supposed to be a legitimate company.

This ad is in the paper.....1-800-798-1763 A lady named Lisa suppose to be the rep. and pretty much the same way you pay 299 for the software and you make $425 every week part time and make full time $825 a week. They pay bi-weekly what a scam, almost fell for it.

In other words the people who were smart enough to check out the SCAM on this site didn't have to have their money stolen, and their hopes for a job raised falsely, to KNOW this is a SCAM. And you must be one of the SCAMMERS. You clowns must really be hurting because sites like this are making it hard for you to STEAL MONEY.

Glad to hear it!

I called also.  "Peter" called me back and I got the same story.  It sounded pretty good up until the point of having to come out of pocket $299.00 for the software.  I told him that I would have to think about it because I thought $299 was a little much for their software.  Plus, in the back of my mind I was thinking this is probably a scam.  I haven't gotten any other calls back.  I've just come to the conclusion that if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is!  Would have been nice though.

What questions did you ask?
I want to know.
What are the answers?
How many times did you ask the same questions?
What company did they say they are?
Because if you scrolled up, the other person says another company.
What kind of research did you do?
I want to know if my research match up to your research.

This is a total scam. I finall got the info I was looking for. Thanks for posting this on the web. I too was treated less than professional. She, the "0"  ext. (Helen) operator became irrated when I asked her a lot of questions. She told me there was only 1 position left and the rest were gone. I really started wondering and decided to do some research. TOTAL SCAM!!!!!  No wonder you can't get fired. How can you be fired from a job doesn't exist?  Nice try. I feel for the hundreds of people who have fallen for this. Thanks a million for saving me from this scam. Hopefully these thugs will be caught soon.

If you were so smart you wouldn't need to SCAM innocent people out of $299 at a time, keep changing phone numbers, hide from law enforcement, and try to confuse people on this site.

But you're not, so that's what you do. Does you mom know you STEAL MONEY for a living?

They called themselves "Work Typist Positions Services" when I asked for references they couldn't give any.  Would not give an address.  Phone number came up as private on my cell.  Wanted my debit card to buy $299 program.  Gave me an hour to respond because so many other people were wanting this position.  Claimed to already have 13,000 people doing this same type of work.  Total scam

So I just talked to "Cherry" and she said the same... when I asked for a number to call back to give her my credit card info, she gave the same number and told me to press 0 to get her back on the phone. Funny, because the first time they called back it sounded like the same woman and her name was "Kim" and she hung up on me when I had asked for why I would have to pay $299 for software!

I found the same add in the paper today, I live in Derry, NH. When I called the number I got the same voice mail and left a message with my information as well. I haven't heard anything back yet, but it does sound too good to be true. As far as the software... it says in the message they offer it at a "discounted price" however, it doesn't explain what it is, so I am curious to that as well.

I also called this number after seeing an ad in my local Pennysaver.  I think it's a scam.  I left a message, they called me back.  The person that called me back originally asked for the wrong person, and when I said you have the wrong number she was like Oh I mean, so and so...very unprofessional to start.  Then I asked the name of the company, was told Medical Typist Services based out of Seattle, WA.  Said they were registered with BBB.  Said the software costs $299, payable with CC or bank info over the phone...said they have no website...give no references, that wasn't fair if they did that?....the person I spoke to said her name was Celine but she sounded like she was on some street corner with traffic rolling by.  said you get paid by direct deposit every other Friday...doctors would reimburse you for software after 1 1/2 years of working...after so long they pay you 2 weeks vacation!  This definitely sounded like a scam and I wasn't interested but was trying to get as much info from them as I could.  the girl had an attitude when I asked her legitimate questions and she kept saying we are with the BBB. so i confirmed the name of the company again to be sure when I checked it out I had it right. I asked for a number to call when I am ready to purchase, same # except I was told to press 0 to get her directly.  checked BBB no such company, called the number back and pressed 0 to get yet another place to leave my name and number..not happening.
Scam!!

Possible data entry job scam, I saw this ad on a job site, can't remember what site it was but the ad is posted on various classified employment site when you Google the number.

Here's what the ad says:

Local data entry/ typists needed immediately. $400 PT - $800 FT weekly. Flexible schedule, work from own PC. 1-800-310-0154

So I called the number and was directed to voicemail, the voice mail said that all the lines were busy and gave me a summary of the job they were offering. So I left a message with my name and number and they did call me back. They said that I would be filing insurance forms from home and that I would need "secure forwarding software" in order to work for them and I would have to pay for it myself. I then told them that I did like their offer and would call them back if I we're still interested. So far they have not called me nor have I gotten any other calls from telemarketers with similar numbers. Has anyone else called this person, or would try calling this person and tell me their experience, I would like to know.

Thanks
