Yeah, you got me.  I'm the idiot on this one.  I just caught my error.  Going without sleep tends to lead to cognitive blips.  I reckon I'll just stay in my creek from now on.  I don't seem to be able to take the heat.  Thanks for affirming that I just need to shut up, keep my opinions to myself and use this site to look up unwanted numbers, as opposed to participating in the conversations.  I did enjoy (and will miss) the banter, but there are plenty of interesting objects in the culvert to keep this troll (actually that is my nickname among friends) occupied and at peace.

Crawling out of the primordial ooze in my troll hole to recommend that you learn to spell and use the correct homonyms.  One looses all credibility to this "closed mided {sic} fat lady" when he cannot distinguish "to from too", and "their from there".  I also can't seem to find the word "isent" in any dictionary of modern English.  

Observation:  Having read only two of your posts, I pick up on an intense hatred / antipathy that you seem to have against women.  Have you ever considered therapy to address this?

Now back to the comfort of my polluted culvert, to pick up some more nasty parasites and eat a few pounds of sucrose emulsified in lard.  Must do so in order to maintain my fat lady status. I seriously am a troll.  I live by a creek culvert and spend a fair amount of time down there (their???) picking up litter and checking out the hydrology, flora and fauna in my little piece of Heaven on Earth.

I'm one of those guys who blocked Verizon's numbers so you teletrolls can't ring through.    Sorry, but I'd rather listen to my neighbor's dog bark all night than hear you drone on about  all the "special deals" that end up locking me into endless contracts at twice the price of your competitors.     But feel free to call, and call, and call.   My call blocker knows just what to do when your numbers pop up.

Stop your your crying" im on the national do not call list" half of you guys dont have a clue... 90 pecent of you babies are a custumer of verizon so they can call you to let you know of offers and promotion.. if
you closed mided fat ladies woukd actully talk to the reps you would probly find out that you would save  money or get upgraded sevices,,, once your promotions run out they let you know what deals and savings your up for... except crying that you are geting calls see what there offering why pay more when can pay less... renewing  a contact or taking advantage of saving isent a bad thing,,,, you have time to come on a forum to complain about calls when takes the same amount of time you are spending to see what offers your up for... and the ones that dont take atvantage are complaining there bills too high cause you dont want to take a min out of your so called busy lives to see what you up for but complain on a forum... shake my head idiots....

They're starting to use this number again! I speak gibberish at them-- Tchez boko du da trenzka kenho yavoska-- and eventually they give up. I rarely get more than one or two calls from the same company. The Verizon Presidential hotline # is 1-800-483-7988, it is actually call Verizon Executive Customer Advocacy. They are very nice.The other # 1-800-780-0753 is only a tech line they do not have the complaint #. As a former operator we were instructed to not give out this # because every call center is allowed so many presidential complaints against them. So i would advise using this # because they take care of business, and no manager wants a executive complaint filed on there center. I call my local 411 (were I had work) yesterday and today no one could give me this # 1-800-483-7988. Executive complaints do get taken care of.

I've been getting several calls a day, lately--at different times of day, each day. I've been letting it go to my answering machine after 3 rings, but usually they hang up just as that happens. Today, I answered after the second ring, saying "Please stop calling this number," but I think they were already in the process of hanging up.

I was thinking about renewing my verizon contract, till I started getting these calls from 1-800-310-5479.

So now I have decided not to renew ,and furthermore I added the number to my phone as ZZz Verizon Spam, and set it not to ring when that number calls.

I get these calls at different times during the day but never pick up.  I have caller ID so I see the number.  Don't they realize that people have that option and will not pick up unknown calls.

I work for the 1 800 310 5479. We only call you to renew your contract and give promos. we are not trying to sell you a $400 phone. the we get paid is if you buy a phone we get $0.50. no matter if is $400 phone or a free phone. and we work on behalf of Verizon Wireless. So if you want us not to call just say DO-NOT-CALL-LIST please.. but its real and good deals. most of the time we put you on cheaper plans and save you money.

Won't be surprised if this is a scam to somehow get people to leave verizon to go with other wireless carriers... I get the same calls all the time, but have yet to call it back and don't want to waste my time like that.. I too am at the end of my contract, and really think this is another company trying to make Verizon seem unreliable... I am going to try to have it blocked as well... We'll see how it goes..

I am sending this email to Senator Pipkin. The Star-Democrat suggested that I also file a complaint with you. We have had ongoing problems for over 10 years with when it rains, no phones. Reading below what I have already sent to BBB, Verizon and Attn. General's Office will explain. I hate to be hateful, but we were promised new lines last summer. I even had one phone tech show me the crumbled up lines. I had all complaints in a file on my computer, but lost all data in February 2009, so I am starting from scratch again.

I filed a complaint last summer with BBB, Attorney General, FTC and FCC. Verizon told you all the problem had been resolved. The issues down this road were put on hold I was told, because they were so busy with installing the Fios. So here is the complaint that I sent them. Hopefully this time someone will take some action against Verizon:

Here we go again. Over and over and over again. Every time it rains we have no phones. It has been completely out all day today. It has been out a total of three times this month. April 3, April 11 and April 15. Your men have been here twice. Of course, they come when the rain stops. One was just here on April 8th. They said it was a phone gone bad on the wall in our barn, moisture getting to it. He disabled the phone. Okay, so today I guess it is raining inside of my house and shop, because phones aren’t working again. Time for me to contact the BBB, FTC, FCC, Pipkin and who ever I can think of. This is just uncalled for. We are calling Atlantic Broadband and begging them to run there cables down here, since they stopped about two miles away. It would be nice if we had the Triple Play benefits down our road, but we don’t. We are paying over $400.00 a month just to have phones, satellite Internet and satellite television so we shouldn’t be treated this unfairly.
