They helped me and my husband. We had to qualify, but they were patient and informative. Our mortgage was upside down and we couldn't get an appraisal. Ocwen really saved us from walking away.

WooHoo! Here we go again - been getting calls daily from this #. Have 3 loans that were sold to Ocwen (very unfortunate) - left a message this time saying that we needed to call regarding the "change in status on your account".  What a crock!  Get mailouts weekly wanting us to sign up for some home repair service etc.
They are relentless and a real pain in the backside.
Used to just hit talk button on phone, put it down and walk away - irritation payback!!  stopped the calls for a while, but started again!

I also received numerous calls for the past 3 days. Once when I answered they said they were with Ocwen Mortgage Company and they need to update some information.  The first thing they asked for was the last four digits of my social security number.  When I questioned him about the information he quickly asked for the digits again.   I in turn stated that I would call Ocwen myself and give them the information.  Today I received a call again which they left a message to call back.  I didn't but called Ocwen directly and they did not need any further information from me. I did a reverse look-up and one of the Websites showed that this was a Verizon number.  Which I recall getting a couple of E-mails directed toward several other recipients stating that we owe $1000 plus dollars and need to pay.   I do not even have any service with Verizon.  Not sure who these people are but I am sure they are scammers and all they need is those last four digits of your social security number and they could surely do some damage.  BEWARE!!!   I do not think it is really Ocwen but only scammers.

I been getting phone calls where they won't say anything since I got my phone no. Then I got a answering machine then someone calls and hangs on and doesn't say anything then hangs up!

Earlier this month I got a recorded call on the answering machine many times during the day saying it was Ocwen and to call them about my account!!!! I called them and I got two foreign speaking women, when I asked who they were calling about, she did not tell me and asked for my name, I wouldn't give it to her, I told her that I never heard of them and that I did not have a account with them and got VERY upset and said I owe them NO money and if they called again that I was being harrassed and that I would sue and get a lawyer and I then hung up my the phone! I contacted law enforcement and the phone company.

I intent to contact FTC and Attorney General's office! How can they get away with this? They doing this to alot of people, I am on the do not call list and I am still getting calls where they do not say anything now. This is wrong they are breaking the law by harrassing people does anyone know a good lawyer who handles these type of cases, please let me know I am tired of this Bull %&**! And I am really glad that I don't owe these as**$&8es any money!!!! Wow I could imagine if they torment me when I don't owe them any money what would they be do to me if I really did owe them money!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hate that Litton sold our mortgage to these "people" at Ocwen. They call constantly and no one is on the other line.  They call well before 9 a.m. EST or EDT.  If I answer either there is no one on the other line or I get a heavy accent from India.  I refuse to speak to them as they  won't let you speak to them or I can't even understand them.  They start calling you even if they haven't posted your payment yet.  Yes I will admit that I don't make it to the exact date and even if I try to explain to them I'm going to be late it doesn't even make any difference to them.  I really do hate this company.  These are the last people I would ever deal with and I would never seek them out to finance a loan with that is for sure!

I work in the HR Dept of our company and I have gotten nearly 100 calls this past month from these people askling for one of our employees.. I have repeatedly told them my position and that the employee should be contacted at home and not my office number..

They seem to have a difficult time understanding and continue to call me at least 5 times a day..

I did in past call them and even said some harsh words to them so don't waist time their been doing this for years I feel you all untill  We refinance nothing u can do about it trust me

800-310-9229  Our morgage has been switched to this company.  We have always been current with  our morgage payment,. and yet they call 8-9 times a day.  This morning they called my husband's cell phone 3-4 times before 9 am. My husband has tried to answer the phone, and no one is there.  It's ridiculous.

My 11 year old son has received several phone calls from this number.  Here's the kicker...he doesn't even have a phone.  He has a text free app on his iTouch which allows calls to be made when you are connected to the internet.  I called them to request that his number be removed.  They called 21 times in one day...9 times today.

I'm I'm the same boat as jim. Litton sold my mortgage to these fools and my phone has been blowing up ever since.
On the plus side, I just bought a new house and ocwen can eat toenails and have my old house if they keep bugging me!!!

Every couple of minutes Ocwen's computer calls our home day and night even though the company has been called and notified that this is harassment. With illness in our family this is criminal and the Attorney General's  office will be contacted for intervention.

We've received about 10 calls in the last two hours from this number. They claim they are from Ocwen, but asked for the last four digits of the Social Security Number.If they were really from Ocwen, they would have that information.

We have a mortgage with Ocwen that was transferred from Litton. The mortgage is current and we don't have any late payments. This is some sort of SCAM. The girl, who was obviously from India, would not state the purpose of her call. We told her we were taping the phone call and she hung up immediately.

Our Morgtage has been paid off for years. Why do these idiot`s keep calling !!!!

I have been having the same problem and I also cannot find anyone to help.  Unfortunately, I do have them as a mortgage company because my original was sold to them, have had nothing but problems.  I make my payments on time and have sent them proof and verification they have cashed and received the money. Now they have jumped the gun, paid my taxes and raised my payment three times what it normally was and when I sent in my normal payment, they returned it!  I am on disability and there is no possible way I can make an $1800 payment. Whenever I do call them or ask for a supervisor they say no one is available or there is no number they can give me for the dept. I am asking for and they are unable to transfer.  They have made it so bad by not reporting payments that I am unable to go elsewhere for my loan.  I feel like they have made a legitimate business out of trying to take homes and are being allowed to do so because no one cares. I am at a loss, I do not wish to lose my home, since I worked a 75 hour week to get it for 15 years.  I feel I am slowly sinking for options.

Ocwen, they never leave a message and you call them back and they don't know why they called you.

keep getting calls from this number- just shows  as a toll free caller=  i have never h eard of them- don't have a mortgage(I rent).  am on do Not call list- but doesn't seem to do any good. how do you stop these people from calling all day and 1/2 ther night?

Someone from this company keeps calling me asking for someone I have never heard about.  I finally checked and found its a debt collection company.  I don't own them money and don't know who this person is they keep asking for.  I am on the do not call list, but that doesn't seem to bother them.  I called and tried explaining this to them and they hung up on me.

800 310 9229 ... keep calling me about a change to an account but the name of the account the voice gives is garbled. i'm not behind on any accounts.

Ocwen will call up to 10 times a day,everyday if your mortgage is not paid right on the 1st of every month, even though it is not considered late till the 15th of every month.....it is harrassment,ridiculous & annoying!!!

This is the third time this company has called nonstop.  Last time they said that a letter in writing was necessary to get off their call list.  I wrote and threatened them with legal action and the calls did stop for at least 8 months.  Apparently, they just circulate their phone listings and I'm now getting harassed every day.  I'm on the DNC list, have no products with them, and yet I still get the calls- as early as 8 in the morning.  At this point, I just pick up the call and hang up on them.  They eventually move on after a few weeks, but I can't believe that someone hasn't sued them yet.

This number calling stating that account information has changed call back as soon as possible, and office hours have been extended. All of the numbers listed in these remarks get forwarded to India. They are all the same place.
YOUR RIGHTS- YOU NEVER HAVE TO DISCUSS PERSONAL INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE. TELL THEM TO SEND YOU THE INFORMATION VIA MAIL, AND REPLY THE SAME WAY.
" ALWAYS GET IT IN WRITING" Another good idea is to check the postal zip codeon the envelope whenever possible.

I waited through the silence one day; and when someone finally came on the line and began to speak, a baby started crying in the background, I said "Is that a baby crying?" He immediately hung up. They are in India and must work from home.

I've gotten good at really pissing them off. I agree to speak with them and when they ask me to verfy my SS, I say "sure, go ahead" after some awkward silence they'll say "I need you to verify your Social security number" once again I say "sure go ahead". When they finally realize what I'm saying they say "Sir I need you to tell me the last four digits
. I say "NO I will NOT, first, you asked me to verify, now your asking me to give you the numbers, this call is over. You called me, if you can't tell me my numbers I'm hanging up, goodbye.

Now this is not advisable if you're late with your payment, but when you know you're not late, go ahead have some fun...

The number they left on my machine is 800-390-9229 but calling that back just refers me to some fee based directory service.
*69 reports the number as 800-310-9229. When I call them back they answer as Auckland and are looking for someone who doesn't live here. they are apparently a collection agency or the collection dept. of a mortgage company. I'm guessing at the spelling. It could be awkland or something similiar.

Take these OCWN f***s to court and stop wasting your time.

I got the same call from Ocwin where they would hang up.  If you call them you can have your account put into a "No Call Requested" status and they will stop.
