I also received this postcard. It is obviously a scam. Just a phone number, but the one on my postcard is 1-877-478-5703. I called to have them take my postal address off of their records and the woman that answered said that they couldn't, but that I had to go to "donotmail.org".   I asked her what her company was, and she said "A marketing company".  I went to donotmail.org, which sent me to catalogchoice.org. When I tried to block the gimmick company, I realized I had no name for it!
Beware.

I too got a postcard in the mail, but mine stated I've been "selected" to receive 2 round trip airfares to anywhere Delta flies in the continental USA. Also as a bonus a 3 day, 2 night hotel stay. Even had the Delta logo on it to make it look official. In fine print it states Delta's not even affiliated with it.

Sad that this stuff still happens.

I got a postcard today that says the same as the rest of you.  It IS a scam and once they get your credit card info and Driver's License # what is to prevent them from stealing your identity.  They can offer a lot of the things they do JUST by what they have "stolen" from others that HAVE trusted them....NO THANKS !!

Got the same card and says Complementary 7Days Cruise with Carnival Logo.  I am in PA.

**I did called**

The number is 18003131263.
The lady verified my Ticketing ID and asked my marriage status, I asked what this is all about.
Then she asked my income status and amount.  I am at work, and can't disclosed that information on the phone.  She then tells me that they are doing marketing research and she can't continue telling what this is all about until I tell her my income amount.  Then I told her I can't take this offer if you can't tell me what this is all about.  Thus, conversation ended.

Sure enough, through the post card out.

I called the number and thank God I did, the money I have to give seems miniscule to what I get...
years of trying to get my money, life, sanity and self respect back!!  If you notice the card says US Air-LINES not AIRWAYS.
Thanks to all who have posted and keep the diligence up on our lovely scammers...and I can't get that description of that fat white guy out of my head, thanks alot.  I never called thanks to your replies, because I always Google these T.G.T.B.T. offers.

Just got on in st. louis area. Similar to others above except I only get 7 Day/6 night. I feel cheated since others got 8 day/7 night! Ours has Carnival and US Airways logos. Interesting it says "fly a US Airlines". Obviously writen by someone who's primary language is not English.

Otherwise it looks kind of legit, but I decided to google. Thinking about calling just for fun. Is there a way to block caller ID?

Yep got the same postcard and I'm in the Metro East Area of St. Louis. It instructed me to call 800-313-1263. I am a cop who handles these types of scams....What company is just gonna give away a free trip for no reason? Celebrating of their Anniversary in our area? Are you kidding me. Carnival was founded in 1972. They don't celebrate Anniversary's in different areas. Also, read the one earlier post about how its not a scam and notice the obvious misspellings in several of the words trying to defend it. It is probably one of the people in the scam posting to this site trying to attest a** to the legitimacy of it. As a general rule of thumb, if it sounds to good to be true it probably is a scam!!!!!

I just got the postcard. Claims I have been selected for the complimentary cruise because it is their anniversary in my area...  St Louis, Metro East Illinois.  Also lists out all those fees and taxes as listed above... to be paid by recipient.  Not so much free.  I am not interested in dealing with the sales gimics or extra fees, either...

I got the same free cruise post card here in Kansas City.  Just curious....has anyone actually gone to the presentation?  What do they do at the end if you tell them that you just want your free trip?  Do they actually give it to you?  I suggest if you do go to the presentation, telling the rep at the end of the session that you are recording on your cell phone their response when you ask for the 'freebie'.

I got the same card. I called knowing it's a scam. So I ask the guy I spoke to what the business name and location. He didn't want to give that information. He kept saying he only works at a call center that routes calls. I asked "so you don't know where this business is but you work for a call center that handles calls for this company you don't know what the name and location is"? he kept saying he doesn't know and only works there. He gave me a name "Package Vacations". I googled it and come to find out you wouldn't really be able to google a name "Package Vacations" because those words are typical search words. Anything comes up.

Any who, I knew it was a scam. I just wanted to call them and give them a hard time.

I got one of the postcards yesterday. It says the same things mentioned above except I couldn't find the name of the real company on the card anywhere. It exhibits the Carnival and US AIRLINES logos. It advertized I had been "selected to receive a Complimentary 8 Day/7-Night Cruise for 2 with an outside cabin, leaving from any major port in the U.S, including CHARLESTON, SC! CALL WITHIN 48 HOURS. YOU WILL RECEIVE AS A BONUS 2 Round Trip Airfares Leaving from or Going to Any Major Airport in the Continental U.S.!" In the "sample" ticket area of the card it did say something interesting.

"Certain restrictions apply. Call for details of participation. This promotion is not sponsored by or affiliated with Carnival Cruise Lines, but they are a major supplier. Deposits, reservation fees, processing fees, port charges and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient."

It seems it's free except for all the stuff you have to pay for...lol!

Still, it sure gives you a rush when you see you have "received a Complimentary Cruise." Unfortunately, I think I'll have to settle for that being the only enjoyment I'll get from this scam!

We just got a postcard in the mail about this - we live in the Kansas City metro area.  Postcard states they leave from "any major port in the U.S., including Galveston, TX."  I decided to do some research, and found this site.  Our postcard uses the phone number 1-800-313-1263.  Glad I found this site because we were going to call them!
