I got a call from the same number (800-316-0361).  I made sure that when I signed up for the information from the colleges that I said that I didn't want to be contacted by phone or by email, but just and only just mail.  Today, 3 phone calls. Yesterday, 3 phone calls.  Thursday, 3 phone calls.  Wednesday 2 phone calls.  Amazing that they think that someone is going to respond with that kind of annoying saturation!

i called back and waited for the menu.  i then put my number on the do not call list in their system.  guess we will see if it works!

This company has called me up to 3 times a day for the last week or so, but I never answered. I don't know anyone with an 800 number and I hate listening to automated telemarketing! This morning it dialed me at 7:00 am! I finally called and had my name removed from the list (Thanks, LA; I hadn't thought of trying that). I'm thinking of telling the next telemarketer who won't leave me alone that my lawyer is pressing harassment charges.

This place is called Degree counciling - I just called them to tell then to stop calling my house and they said that some one gave them my number to help with my continued education.

 I have not been to school in 20 years.   I asked them why they call and never answer - never say anything and never leave a message and the chick had no answer.

  They put me on a no call list But i am betting I get more calls anyway becuase this company is not run well and sounds like a sweat shop running in the back ground.

IT DOESN'T!!....ENTERED MY NUMBER 2 DAYS AGO ON THAT DUMB LIST AND THEY STILL CALLING ME!!....THEY'VE BEEN CALLING ME ALL DAY AND THIS MORNING AGAIN AT 8AM!! STUPID NUMBER HAS BEEN CALLING ME EVERYDAY AT LEAST 3-4 TIMES SINCE LAST FRIDAY!

I have been called three times in the past 24 hours but I was in school all three times so I didn't answer.  No message.  I called back once and it said it was for some college selection service.

They are calling me like crazy too... Some college help junk... If you call it back and press 1 it says they won't call you anymore but do say they will continue giving you information so doesn't really do anything...

Annoying!!! Several calls in last three days, sometimes 3 times a day, even after 8pm, In the middle of putting kids to bed!  I called the number back and pressed "1" to enter number to have my # removed.  We'll see what happens.  Thanks for all of the advice already given.  Good to know.

I just got this call, but I did not answer 1800 numbers. I might fill out some online scholarships before, but not sure if these calls are from them. It is quite annoying by calling me without leaving any message!

They are looking for your college aged son or daughter. Asking to be removed from their calling list did not help. Pressing the option on the phone to be removed from the lsit did not help. Reporting them to the Do Not Call registry did not help. WHAT DID HELP WAS I TOLD THEM THAT PERSON DOES NOT LIVE HERE ANYMORE. They have not called since, And they were calling about 4 times a day.

I called this number back and removed my phone # from their call list by choosing option 1 < press 1 on your phone keypad > you will then receive a voice message stating it has been removed and can take 24-48 hours for completion.

This number keeps showing up on my cell phone. I do not answer 800#s and I do not appreciate sales reps abusing my minutes.

(800) 316-0361   I keep getting calls from this number as well - this last time - Just a few minutes ago, the guy did not answer - I said hello several times aand I could hear some one breathing. They did not hang up either.

 I listened to back ground noise for several minutes - I could hear a person breathing like the phone was up to his ear, I say HE because as I listened some one called out to the little SOB and he answered them saying Hu? What? Naw...   then he continued to have the phone up to his head.

  I told the sht that i was calling to report the number and he fumbled around with the phone and then hung up.

   If This is a company - I have no clue what they would hope to accomplish by making prank calls or letting these punks annoy the hell out of people with thier fool ways.

 I mean - I do not buy things over the phone anyway but I for sure would not be responsive to this BS.

I signed up for some scholarship stuff and accidentally entered my info into one of the University of Phoenix things because I thought I was signing up for a scholarship. They've called so many times and I just ignore it. Now this number comes up. I've even silenced my phone before I go to sleep so it doesn't needlessly wake me up every single morning. I'll try calling it back and punching some numbers. I hate that they have to sell our numbers to annoying people/systems instead of giving us a scholarship in the first place.

After 3 or 4 days of getting a call from this number, and answering every one -- all with no one on the other end of the line. I tried returning the call only to get a message that the number was not accessable from my area. Then this morning (Saturday) before 8am, another call -- you guessed it -- no one was there. Another call came in around 10am, this time a live person was actually there. She asked for Anthony. Did not ever identify who they were. I asked that my number be removed, We'll see if that happens!
