It appears that I have been harassed by this same company(?) for about two weeks.
After telling the man not to call me any longer, for about the 6th or 7th time, I asked him where his company was located. His comment " why, are you going to report me." i told him yes and then I lost control and told him his f@#$%^&* company has been calling me for about 2 weeks and I want it to stop.
He then said "then I'll report you for profanity" . I appreciate the suggestion to report them to the FCC.

I set up a home energy audit with eehana and they were very professional and actually paid for some of the cost of new attic insulation. Its not a scam just a non profit organization trying to help folks make there home as energy efficiant as possible

I got a call from 1-800-318-4290 at 8:59 pm, had just gone to bed as I get up at 4:00am, I am really irritated about this, I am on the do not call list but, that doesn't do any good I guess.

Received Call fro EEHANA.org. To set up an energy audit for our home. Made appointment with caller named Mary Kennison from EEHANA. If we are unable to meet with energy auditor, we are to call 1-866-408-4088. When this # called was directed to call 1-800-353-3300, which is a phone sex line. Call received at 1:31 pm on April 22, 2009.

Since the eehana domain is owned by a Home Improvement Company, and since they said they'd have "one of their associates" set up a home energy audit, I have NO DOUBT WHATSOEVER that this is a scam site and shill non-profit organization set up to get around the no-call list and to sucker people into having a bogus energy audit performed by a so-called "associate" which would then lead you into a pitch to buy siding, windows, etc., for you home.
To me, the call I got sounded like any other sales call. I call shenanigans on this outfit.
It's a scam to get around the no-call list in my opinion.

They have called 2 times - saying they were a nonprofit organization who would share the cost of making your home more energy efficient. My husband said it was a scam - I was ready to set up an appt.!

What is the scam? I talked in detail with them and they are very helpful and knowledgeable. Check your info.

The non-profit is a scam; it's a front for "Mountain West Home Improvement" in Fort Collins CO, owned by Roger Flack.
The company recently had it's BBB accreditation revoked, with 19 complaints. You can read more about that by following this link to the Northern Colorado Better Business Bureau.

Actually I got a call from them today and have been searching the internet for info. It appears they are a non-profit organization, which makes them exempt from the no call. And as of yet I haven't found anything negative about them except for complaints that they call "no call" patrons. If you want to see a website go to www.eehana.org and see for your self.

They are doing nothing illegal.

They are the Energy Efficient Alliance of North America. http://www.eehana.org.
They called on the 3rd of March, I asked them not to call. I emailed that they not call. They called again on the 4th. On both the 3rd and the 4th of March, I reported them to the FCC at
https://donotcall.gov/
The only way to get scum like this to understand they're not above the do not call list is for everyone who gets a call from them to report them every time. Please go to the government site and report this call too so they'll get the hint.

Called on 3/3. I called back. Energy Efficient Home Alliance of North America. http://www.eehana.org.
I reported to donotcall.gov as I always do any unwanted call as well as e-mailed them to stop calling me.
They called again on the 4th of March, and I again reported them to donotcall.gov. If enough people start going there and reporting this call, they'll get the hint or, hopefully, fined.
