Called 2/5/2009 at 12pm. Didn't leave a message.

I get calls from this number all the time 1 800 321 9444 but they never identify them selves if it is for someone else and they never leave a message on the answering machine.CALLS AND WONT LEAVE A MSG, OFTEN TIMES HANGS UP ON ME WHEN I ASK TO LEAVE A MSG.

I requested they remove me a few weeks ago, but today the phone rang and my caller ID showed this number. I did call the 800-321-1178 number and listened until they gave me the option to be placed on a "do not call" list with the companies they contract with. We'll see if this works.

I reported them to the Do Not Call registry again.  How long does it take to shut down these types of scams?

Every day this number calls me with a bad recording. I call the number back and this really bad recording answers and say to call 800-321-1178, but no one answers the call. It says they are the California Organization of Police and Sheriff's. So I looked up their website http://www.ca-cops.com/ and found their number. I called that number and I was told that they have telemarketers making calls for them. I asked to be removed from their lists and they said they would remove me and I would no longer receive any calls. I gave them the numbers that have been calling me and asked them if these were THEIR phone numbers or was this some scam, but I couldn't get any answer only that they use telemarketers.

Next day, more calls from the same number. My only option is to file complaints with the FTC every time this number calls me.

Someone calls from this number 800-321-9444 every single day. They never leave a message. Called the number back and it was a bad voice mail recording of a woman's voice saying they raise money for law enforcement. Says to call back at 800-321-1178 and then hangs up.

Called for my son, asked for him by first name only, not first and last, said he was from zentel

call 5-6 times daily.  Most times say nothing!!

Actually, you do have to pay for police academy.  Any other training probably comes out of the department's budget.  I don't know if this is legit, but I have my doubts because fund-raising for this kind of thing is normally done in the immediate community, or raised through bond measures.  Definitely fishy

The guy talks a mile a minute. Says he represents non-profit organizations to help raise funds for cancer. He mentioned that he was from contract companies in Virginia. Sounds like a scam, kept pressuring me to donate.

The caller said that he was part of the organization raising money for the men and women in law enforcement for scholarships to go through police trainging ( i thought it was free) They ask you to make a donation on a hundred dollars or more. They talk real fast and kinda abrupt ( and im a young rap fan ..lol)I said no thank you politely and they hung up.
