Don't forget to also alert your state Attorney General's Office.  I have gotten a few of these jerkoffs investigated that way in CA.  You can also report them to the FTC and the FBI, as these scams are a priority on the FBI watch list.

Is anyone interested in joining a class action lawsuit against i recovery llc? They are in violation of many fdcpa laws and can be sued for up to $500,000. I have repeatedly asked them for validation of debt which they cannot provide... I have asked them not to call during work hours, which they do. Also, the debt they claim to own is past the statute of limitation. They have harrassed me for over a year and I will be filing suit against them. I got a letter from irecovery,llc and when I ask them who they where the person told me that he don't have time for this.. So I told him that I was gonna report him and he hang up.. And the letter was sign by James stein..the phone number on the letter is 18004418334

I started getting calls from a company called IRECOVERY LLC stating they had an urgent message and left a file number.  They claim there is a debt that I owe to Ace Cash Express.  Funny I've never done business with Ace Cash Express.  I never returned the phone calls and the calls stopped.  This was in January.  A few days ago I receive a letter from IRECOVERY LLC stating that I owe over $500 to Ace Cash Express.  I contacted Ace Cash Express who assured that not only have I never done business with them, I indeed owe them zero dollars.  They further stated that they have never heard of IRECOVERY LLC and that is not a company they do business with or outsource collections to.  I called this shady company today and got the rudest person on the other end of the phone. I explained that I contacted the creditor listed in the letter directly and they have never heard of me nor do they have any records pertaining to my name, address or social security number.  IRECOVERY  called me a liar and told me they were notating my account as a refusal to pay.  Well of course I'm refusing to pay it is not my debt and the original creditor validated that.  So needless to say I filed a police report, a claim with the FCC and a complaint with the BBB.  This company can go to hell.  Futhermore there is nothing on my credit report even pertaining to this item.

I just got a call from this company. They claimed I owed $1400 to some company called MTE Financial. Never heard of them, never took out a loan they claim I had taken out in 2007.  This is a scam.  I told them to send me the information via registered mail and they refused and got very nasty.  SCAM.  Don't give them any of your personal information, nor your SS#.

Unless the company is willing to send me documentation by US Mail service with the company information on it, I will not pay. Just because a fly by night collection company calls and says you have to pay for a pay day loan, dont do it unless one you know its yours and two they let you send in the payment. I wont give out banking information over the phone and any reputable company will take the payment anyway they can and will work with you to make it easy. I dont know why someone would say they were reputable when I looked them up I can only find bad comments regarding this company.

Scam collection agency that uses scare tactics to collect.  They change their name all the time, and call from blocked numbers.  Get nasty with them or just tell them you have a lot of money but none for them ,and hang up. Then call them back and hang up and do it 10times aday for a week straight.  

Or promise them money and give them a fake credit card.  Having a party this Friday with 15 people.  We are all gonna call them at once and f*** with them like they did me.  Stay in attack mode. These people are gutless punks that hide behind a fake number.

DOn't pay them. Payday loans are illegal.  They can't collect. They charge illegal interst.  And they have to have an "INKED" signature in court.  Tell them to go f*** themselves. And make sure you talk to them like that. PUt them in their place. They are bottom feeding scum.

They are a scam collection company for payday loans.  They told me that I was going to be arrested.  I am sueing them. DOn't give them any money.  They use different fake names and block numbers when they call. When I asked for address and so forth, they hung up on me.  But I can find them now from their number.

These people ALWAYS CALLLLLL don't they have anything better to do. I owe a lot of money. I just couldn't afford to pay anyone anything, as horrible as that sounds. I just got a job, so
I called them off an old email they sent. I checked out the website. I'm making $75 monthly payments on my Sprint account until I can pay more. It's not much but it's worth it to get my phone to stop ringing.

Thanks SusyQ I got a call from this company, Ms. Hunter, she said that they were collecting on my MTE loan . I don't remember taking out the loan. I called BBB before I made any arrangements that IRecovery wasn't a scam. I set up payments with Chrystal for them to come out every month. I don't like giving my information over the phone, but they said they don't accept "mail-ins" does anyone know if they can do that?

Called my cellphone and left message for someone who was not me saying they were a debt collector and to not listen to the message if I wasn't such and such, but then they stated that even if I WAS NOT that person to call them back so I can be removed from their list

Since I put my numbers on the do not call lists I seem to be getting more and more unwanted calls.  What good are the lists if they don't work?

I got calls from this number months back from Donna & . They told me I had to pay my payday loan. I never heard of them, I owe Quick Cash not I-recovery. I thought this was a scam so I didn't give any information & hung up. I just got a letter but before I called them back, I called the Better Business Bureau, verified their license number. I actually paid for less than what I took out for my loan. I was scammed a few years back. You can verify any company with the Better Business Bureau to make sure the company is legit before you fall into any scam.

We are on the NO CALL list for cell and land line phones.  NO CALL.......get it!  We don't owe anyone money and you have no reason to call us.

I had this number on my caller id for months . I accidentally picked up my phone and had some dude on the other line. He say that he want me to pay my sprint bill that was passed due. I be forgetting about an old phone i had years ago but, they found me. I made arrangements to pay this thang off. I settled for a lesser balance. i am glad to get this off my back and stuff. I have 5 kids and I did not have a lot of money but they worked with me. If I can pay my old billz off being on welfare, youall should too. Im just saying.

They called in July 2011 and on aug 1 took out 366.68 out of my checking account..said they were going to throw me in jail if I did not pay this. Then today someone called and said the same thing and now says I owe 837.00  Will not send me anything on this matter. I have the proof that they did take out of my checking acct. She said her name is Shannon Fisher..I called back no answer..

They started calling me this month. I'm waiting for my tax return. I KNOW I HAVE TO PAY MY ACE CASH PAYDAY LOAN people. I don't have the money right now but I am paying it as soon as I have the money. I hate owing anyone. &*^^%& this economy!!!!!

I got the same letter too about 8months ago. I actually never called the number. I just went to the Wells Fargo bank to open up a checking account & found out it was legit. Now I wish I never threw the letter out. I can't get another checking account with out paying this & the company no longer has it in their system, the bank doesn't have a new number to call. CAN ANYONE HELP ME!???

I got calls all the time asking for Shanayah Jones... This Shanayah Jones always gives out my number to different agencies as hers. If anyone knows Shanaya I would love to put her in her place. Anyway I got my number removed off there list & no calls from them anymore but I'm sure Shanayah will strike again.

Str8up is a scammer.  That was a scam attempt.  Scammer shills come on here many times and post "positive" things under their numbers to make themselves appear legit.  We are too smart to fall for that.

I was getting these same calls from a "Steve" about an "personal business matter." I finally answered i was so tired of getting the calls. Turns out it was THE WRONG NUMBER. I didn't have any problems getting them to delete my number (after they asked a couple redundant annoying questions, they told me it would take A DAY OR 2 for the system to update), I didn't understand why it would take that amount of time but haven't heard from them since. THANK HEAVENS!

Instead of blogging about everything you could just call the number back. I got calls from 800-327-1615 number looked it up online and saw all your blogs. So I decided to call the number for myself. I have no clue what you people are talking about the people were not rude to me and got my situation taken care of. I guess it's easier to blog about it then actually calling???

They call my cell phone all the time looking for my husband. Saying something about owing money on a bank account with US Bank. Which neither of us have account with or have had in the past. We've stopped answering the calls. But I would most definately like them to stop calling! Any suggestions?
