I went to disney on ice in dallas and this people they went ther a a sigh a paper with my inf they said that I can win a trip yesterday day call me and they said that I need to go to a resort to get my winners but I dont no what to do

This CRUISE is usually from Miami to THE BAHAMAS, this after beating you over the head for hours to try and sell you a time-share(that someone else is trying to ditch) talk about hard sell.........or you can buy the same CRUISE for $69 and save yourself the pain if you're desparate to CRUISE.

I also got the same blue postcard. If it is indeed Silverleaf, BE VERY CAREFUL, I have had the sad misfortune to have had gotten caught in their speil..HIGH PRESSURE <-> VERY HIGH PRESSURE SALES PITCH. They are trying to sell TIME SHARES. They will sell their own mothers into prostitution to SELL YOU A TIMESHARE!!!
There is probably some fine print that doesn't appear on the 'blue'. BE VERY VERY CAUTIOUS. It is legal, but in NO WAY MORAL.

I too received the blue postcard in mail... so just for fun I Googled the address and found NOTHING legit about them and THEY also go by "SLIVERLEAF RESORTS" at the SAME physical address listed on the post card [6321 Blvd 26, Suite 450 / North Richland Hills, TX 76180]

Prize Scam - comes in the US mail as well.  Time Share soliciter..... don't answer - and trash the mail

This is a scam.  There is no prize - they're trying to sell timeshares.

It is a time share deal.  I had a close friend who went for the sales pitch, turned it down, and took the cruise package.  Of course, the catch is it is almost impossible to book the actual cruise with all the black out dates, etc.  My friend was single and self-employed so the fly by the seat of your pants approach worked for him whereas it probably would not for most.

Received  snail mail "vouchers" saying I won and to call their number and such. What is wrong with some people?!

Got the same card in mail, trying to get me to call them, for trip, cars and/ or 49k in cash. Pa-the-tic.

Received a mailing and inside were my "vouchers" for Carnival cruise ships for 4 day Caribbean or Mexican Riviera from AVC travel.  Has it departing from Miami and Galveston TX.  OR I can win Mercedes Benz, BMW or Porsche, or $1500 shopping spree (doesnt where to).  This has scam written all over it. Im sure they will need your credit card for something and thats where they will drain your account.  This will be shredded!!

they are still using this number in the snail mail travel scam i just received.

I got one in the mail today.  If you examine the note further and take the min of the prizes, I suspect the most you can ever get out of this scam is $1295 which is the price of the 4-day vacation plus $500 cash - that is if it actually is legit.  

Its not worth my time.

hey you guys it might work my friend got the same thing in the mail and she went... of course they tried to sell time shares but she didnt buy any and she still won a trip she ll be leaving in a couple of days

I received one in the mail today. Not going to bother calling. Looked like a timeshare spiel when I read it, and this just confirms it.

We have received a postcard claiming that my husband is "an official prizewinner..." Ask to call this number. New Mercedes, BMW, Porsche or $49,000 cash. The sign is Susan Murray, Awards Director. She asks to speak "to one of my assistants, Sandra or Kim..." Is there a low to sue this people? It would be nice to sue "$49,000 cash prize" for each recipient of this kind of postcards!

I have read the post regarding 1-800-327-4614 and are not surprised by them. I recently received a similar notice in the mail as well. I think it's important to to let people know, at least in my opinion that this is still going on. The first post was in Jan of '08 and the last in May of '10 and of course the most recent, this one. It really sickens me people/companies will sell anything (Third Party Information) these days for a buck!!! So much for the little disclosure that most people sign not allowing this.

received a mail said I got a new BMW worth $49,000 cash

I received a paper saying I got airfare + accomodations free to Las Vegas or Orlando.

I got a yellow post card now saying "FINAL ATTEMPT" with a parcel #. The toll free number they gave now is 8003274614. Well I noticed this is going on from couple of years and how come there is no action to suspend such scams.

The awards director name is Susan Murray. The number given to me is 1-800-327-4614.Dont waste your time!!
