I called after they called me and it appeared on my caller ID.  The recording said they were calling on behalf of a charity and were exempt from the Do Not Call list.

I get two to three calls everyday i wish they would stop calling.

NUMEROUS calls from 7-800-331-5134 on caller ID and no message.  Anytime during days to nearly 9PM EST.  ID simply shows"Not Provided".  Really becoming a nusiance.

and apparently it's for Windstream,(my phone service provider), non-profits, special Olympics, breast cancer, or Discover card, and yet, it always says, SVC on the caller ID.

Since there is apparently a single source, SVC, I should be able to prevent these calls. Any suggestions?

phone rang...i pick up but no one is there...just silence. No one usually calls our house unless it is a friend or family member so i #69 the call and it was 800-331-5134.

Just received call from them, hung up when answering machine kicked in. I called them back from cell phone blocking the number, and it was a pre-recorded message saying that it was telnet marketing which operates as a non-profit organization for charities, political stuff, etc and is exempt from the do not call rules. It stated that they do not have caller ID, so please leave your name and number requesting to be removed from the list and it would take effect in 4 days. I only gave my number and told them if they called again they would get a nasty nasty response. I have also changed my answering machine message to a robotic sounding recording of me saying "Please hold for the next available person". I am so sick and tired of all the calls lately and I am on DNC. They are a joke, have sent numerous complaints and each time they send me a form in the mail saying there is nothing they can do, so will fight my own way, blocking numbers when I can and being obnoxious otherwise. Really starting to consider getting rid of phone altogether. Already had to change cell number as telemarketers used up all my minutes.

I got this same person said with mircle network for kids w/ cancer I asked for valid Addy for me to verifie her org' she wouldnt answer kept reading this script she had about last iwshes for kids etc... I then replied siince she wouldnt answer me this is a no call number she tried to over talk me in volume after i started talking over her script reading it got into a yelling matter her sticking to her script until I wouldnt let her have her way of not lettin me have a word edge wise then she yelled back said nocall number dont matter to her and her group because she gets 90% all the numbers she calls off internet whois on domain owners thus the FTC doesnt bind her to the nocall on those which is TOTAL BS thats called harassment when she calls back i got plans for this *itch i hope she like porno!... GOOD LOUD SICKO SCAT EATING/MENSTRAL PORNO Talk  LMAO ;) they gonna harass me they gonna get it in return and get more fun out of it :P I can brag i got rid of 2 other annoying callers this way last year get a loud nasty talking weird porno tape when the call have it read on full blast and place your phone speaker by the tv or cassette recording and let them talk all they want you cant her them unless you want to they hear extremely loud porno LOL works good on bill collectors too.

woman caller said she is calling from the kids wish network.  i replied that i'd given money to my choice charity, the cancer fund, and hung up.  glad to see another comment that the 800 number doesn't match the real kids wish network of 888 on the website.  pretty nervy using kids as a ploy.

Rings an average of two rings and then a hang up.  Calls are too frequent and intrusive!  The caller never leaves a message on our answering machine!  Very inconsiderate and disrespectful.

1-888-716-0010, They keep calling my phone number and want to talk with my son. They want my social security number. I didn't give it to them and told them to stop calling this number or I'd call the police. They said go ahead.

I think these are the people that were on one of the news shows that call from a prison, they make money for the prison by telemarketing. and steal peoples identities ,if you let them.

just got a call.  she said she was from the "kids wish network".  i went to their site and the 800 number on the callerid didn't match the 888 number listed on their site.
