I was sceptical BUT it was for a bill that I did owe only sent to the wrong address and never forwarded to me.  The hospital did not verify my address in the computer THUS sending me to collections.  It really sucks how that works.

My 83 year old mother receives messages from this company constantly asking for someone that doesn't live there, it's to the point where she doesn't answer the phone and it's pissing me off, I haven't made an attempt to contact them because they may start calling me, not sure what to do?

Man called and asked for the last four digits of my social.He would not tell me who he was so I did not give him info. He got pissed and told me have a great day. I don't owe money to anyone!

This is a legit debt collector- after asking for the information to be mailed to me I was able to prove the debt was legit and pay it off

I just received a call from them today. The person said it was UCB Incorporated, and I had urgent business to take care of with them. Then asked me my birth date to verify the information. I refused to give him my birth date, asked what was the matter of business, he said it was personal that's why he needed to verify my information. So I asked him if it was a debt collector, he paused for a moment, then said it was a personal matter. Through the pause he gave them away. I laughed a bit and asked for a call back number. The number he gave me with frustration in his voice is 18003337729.

To stop these calls you must send them a Cease and Desist letter.  Check your credit report to see if they are listed and there is an address to send the letter to and another phone number to call to ask for an address than a P.O. Box.   I will be sending mine out today.   Good luck.

I receive MANY phone calls from this number at least 2 times a day!! They keep asking for somebody that I do not know. I just got this phone number a couple of months back and have been told at least 6 times that my number would be removed from their calling list. Still I receive phone calls every day. I understand people have debts, but check your info people, I AM NOT THE PERSON YOU ARE LOOKING FOR, QUIT HARRASSING ME!!! I am just going to get a new phone number. These people are relentless and should be stopped. F****ng terrorists are more polite than these people!!

I have been getting calls from number 86 and 419 for 20 months ever since I got my cell phone.  They say this call is for Jacqueline if you are not do not answer.  They call at least once a week sometimes several times a day.  I tired to get this stopped through my cell phone provider, but was unable to do so, finally after they called 5 times in a row I listened to the message...they said they were United Collection and gave the 800-333-7729 number to call.  The recorded message said something about Medical and asked to leave a message...I left a message saying I am not Jacqueline, and this is not her phone number anymore.  They are still calling me after a week of silence,  Today they called five times.  I called the 800-333-7729 several times telling them I am NOT Jacqueline and my cell phone is NOT her number.  This is costing me since I have a limited number of minutes.  I would like to see these people fined for making these harassing phone calls.

Received a call today from 419.  A live person (woman) left this detailed abrupt message for me demanding that I return the call and use the reference number given...blah, blah, blah.  She is still waiting for me to call.

I asked "Esha" (that's her name or fake name) to send me a mail letter for proof and she said they don't send thay kind of stuff and i'm thinking..I have had to pay debt for Russel Collection Agency and I have received letter in the mail from them!

She also asked me if I received my Tax income and im thinking..why does that matter??
I googled their number n stumbled upon this site! Scandalous!!!!

real collection people call people that really owe money.  these crooks call about years old bills that were paid, but they hope you cannot "prove" you actually paid.  so sick of the way our country is allowing this type of FRAUD.

This is a Debt Collector called MQC

Not sure why everyone is having problems with them.
I got a call from them that I missed then a text message (from 419) that said PLEASE CALL. Thought it was some scam so I ignored it.

Couple days later another call but this time a voice message with call-back number and reference number. I did in fact have a debt. Forgot to pay some bills at the university hospital. Lady who talked to me was courteous and nice. It was very noisy in the background though, during the call and in the voicemail. Anyway, paid my bill and got it all sorted out.

This place called and left a message for my mother on my voice mail. It had all the hallmarks of a bill collector..."You need to call us by (a time earlier than when I even listened to the message)" "A 'matter' placed on my desk" "This is not a sales call, I repeat, this is not a sales call"

Duh...if they want to talk to her, they can start by calling HER phone number! Not that she'd be fool enough to pick it up either, but it for sure isn't happening by them calling ME.

Someone called from this number stated that it wasn't a sales call and asked that I return the call - I waited 15 minutes on hold and then they hung up.  Who are these people???

I just got a new cell phone and new phone number around 3 weeks ago and have been getting all sorts of calls form collection agencies for the person who had this phone number before i did-this is just another on the list. He/she must have been severely in debt.

This Uknown company has been calling me for the last 3-6 months. I can't even remember how long, it seems like FOREVER!!!
I've reported it twice now to the Do Not Call Registry ....

I wish they would just leave me alone! I'm not going to ever call them back. I never answer calls from uknown numbers or 419 numbers.... ridiculous!!

If their message would tell me what company they are collecting on behalf of, I would call back and take care of it.  If it's legit.  Too bad.  Just send me a bill! :-)

They call me twice and leave 2 different phone number to call back. someone has to stop them to doing this again and again. United Collection Bureau, Inc. really bad.

I have received several calls from these people on my cell phone, the caller ID only says "419".  They leave me voicemails, but never identify themselves or make it clear whom they are attempting to reach.  The voicemails ask me to call them back at 1-800-333-7729 and they leave a reference number.  I refuse to call them back because I'm assuming they are some type of collection agency and the only debt that I owe is being paid off through that creditor and my student loans aren't due for another 2 years.

800-333-7729. This call came up as "Unknown"  on my cell phone this morning and left a recorded message with a refrence number.

I called back and it was UCB and I told her I had no idea what the call was about.  She indicated they were the medical billing department and asked for the reference.  I provided it and she said they were looking for a guy named XXX XXX.  I told her that was not me and I did not know him.  She apologized and said they obviously have the wrong number and would take me off the list.

She was polite - but I can imagine the problems people have had with an organization like this.  We will see if they actually take me off the list.

They too, are calling me nonstop.  I don't owe money to anyone so I believe they are a scam.  They call early in the morning, late at night and all times in between.  I know, by law, they are not allowed to call before 9am or after 9pm.  I'm considering filing a complaint with the BBB.  I know it won't stop them from calling but maybe it will at least annoy them like they've annoyed me.

I have also recieved this call from "419" asking me to call them back at "1-800-299-0979". After reading this I am have temped to because I have filed for bankruptsy so any debts I did have they can not touch me for. So they can intimidate all they want. I can sling crap right back at'em!

I got a call today asking me to call 800-333-7729, and a number to reference. I called back, gave the number, and they asked if I know somebody named Hussein. I don't, and I just got this phone number a few weeks ago. The agent said she would remove me from their call list.
