Thank you! I called and they would not even give me the mailing address so I could send the "notices" back and ask to be removed from the list.

I have received many calls over the past year from them. Threatening/scolding/bossing the moron on the phone does no good. Its some dead-ender who is making minimum wage and only has this job because they are unemployable elsewhere. This person has no power to end the calls/mailings, and no desire to help you out at all.

What I like to do is fake some crazy voice on the phone (some gruff, drunk, wild-eyed old geezer for instance) and immediately over-talk them by saying something such as "Wait a minute....!?!? I know what this is! I've heard about you people! You're trying to steal my identity! Well you ain't getting my identity, you hear me!? The Viet Cong couldn't break me and neither can you!" And then I hang up. I do this every time. Maybe they'll learn it is pointless to ever again call this crazy drunk geezer again!

I just got this "2nd attempt" piece of lying scam mail about a fake car warranty, and I am going to wreck the crooked scumbags that sent it, the criminals that like to prey on people for their own gain. The phone number on this "official" looking junk mail is 1-800-335-1522, and BELIEVE ME, I am going to put that number to very, very good use. Heh heh.

Well now not only do we have to deal with scam phone calls, now scam mail. What the heck is going on? Is there not something we American citizens can do for ourselves because our wonderful government system apparently is NOT working for anyone except themselves????? I'm so sick of trying to avoid these scams & worry about my elderly siblings AS WELL AS YOUNG PEOPLE THAT DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER, and might fall for them. WHAT CAN WE DO? THANKS FOR ANY IDEAS FROM THIS SENIOR THAT IS PISSED OFF! HOPE ALL MOTHERS HAVE A HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, FROM ONE MOTHER TO ANOTHER & HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL FATHERS NEXT MONTH.

I got a letter from them too.  I just got my vehicle last October, I wonder if there is some list I'm on, I don't know.  I'm glad that I checked online about this, it looks legit, but from the research I've done it's not.

Got one of these 'notices' today - NOTHING about it looked genuine, it's all 100% scam material.

Supposedly, my factory warranty was expiring - but not specifying a vehicle - age, mileage OR - what
the costs were for any of their wonderful 'coverage'.

Complete waste of time unless you're amused by this kind of scamster.

I am an attorney that is researching issues related to companies sending extended auto warranties/vehicle service contract solicitation letters. If you have received such a letter, which included information about a vehicle that you own, or have owned in the past few years, that includes the actual make.model and year of your vehicle, please send me a copy of the letter. I am gathering info at this time for research only to outline all the companies doing this, and the states in which they have sent letters. I am investigating the source of the data that is used to make up the mailer. Please email any additional documents received, notes about any telephone call, and contact me. All information and discussions shall remain confidential. I have been posting this info for general info and as an Attorney advertisement.

In order for you to understand my interest/work, and to provide material for you to understand issues involved in these matters, I have included materials for your review below. I note though that most data obtained to use for the mailers by these companies are obtained from legal sources.

I got one of these today addressed to my husband who died in 1995! It's so clearly a scam. It did make me angry, and I thought of calling them and complaining, but realized it was a waste of energy. Wish they could be stopped.

I got the same phony mailing recently.  Here's what I did.  I went to my local post office and told the postmaster that I considered this piece of mail to be pornographic and I wanted the postmaster to follow up on this as a valid complaint.  No word yet on what happened...

I received a letter from these idiots today as well. They're pretty good at making the exterior of the envelope something you feel you need to open. I knew it was some kind of scam before opening it. I think I may have a little fun with these idiots when I have a little down time. I'll be certain to waste as much as their time as possible while having fun at it. Stay tuned for future laughs! lol..

"Call Type/Mail Type":  SCAM ARTISTS SELLING CAR WARRANTIES NOT WORTH THE PAPER THEY ARE WRITTEN ON
The problem is that they use fake addresses (and/or addresses with "suite number" such and such and/or post office boxes).  The authorities have their hands full and catching up with these scam artists is not always an easy task.  Some people are intimidated by the words "Immediate Response Required", etc., etc.  Personally, I am always suspicious of any type of mail or call that states my immediate response is required.  I generally laugh at them, shred the mail, or if it is a call, I hang up or usually don't answer at all if the I don't recognize the phone number.  I always find it strange that they don't have an address listed on those "notices."  I am not going to volunteer my personal info such as a credit card number, social security number, etc., etc. to someone just because they ask.   Each person in my household gets their scam mail at least twice a week  ..... that is a BIG, BIG waste of trees.  They can kiss my b*tt.  Wish they would be prosecuted and thrown in a big dark hole.  Sick of them!

I just sent the US Postal Service an email giving them all the info I had and asking why they could not cancel the permit number 2257 or contact the bbb or other department that could put a stop the is garbage.

If everyone would send an email to the USPS they might take some action. All they have to do is cancel the permit. I know the company would only file for another one but it will cause trouble for them as well as the USPS so if they keep doing it and we keep doing it maybe the USPS will get bbb or some department to put a stop the company doing business period.....

I learned a long time back the squeaky wheel gets the oil - even though I don't do this very often I think this type letter (or call) is a good reason to start.

Just got another auto warranty scam junk mail from the Vehicle Administration Center with the usual auto warranty scam.  No return address and threats on the mailer for anyone who dares to interfer with delivery of this stupid junk mail.  I have gotten this same junk mail from these morons before.  Do not call these scammers back and do not buy their "warranty".  It will never pay a claim and they will find excuses not to pay.
Feed this to the shredder or recycle it.  Do not fall for this scam!

Very creatively worded & deceptive junk mail for an extended auto warranty that is not worth the paper it is printed on. From "Vehicle Administration Center" or corporate title of NAVISS, LLC of Missouri. This masterpiece was undoubtedly crafted by some thieves and then rubber stamped by their corrupt attorneys to target individuals who let their guard down and open their wallets. Looks like they may be targeting older people for some fast cash. I fit in that demographic.

DON'T GET SUCKERED IN PEOPLE! Check out the reputation these extended auto warranty companies have by doing some research on the web! Visit the Missouri Attorney Generals office website on these fraudsters.

About a month ago, I received a call from some unidentified person at vehicle Administration Center about getting an extended warranty bon my vehicle. Since getting my used vehicle in 2010, I have continually gotten notices from them and always discarded them. I told the person no and to close out my file. Recently I received another notice fro them, with the FT.Lauderdale,FL address nothing else.  Today Feb. 11,2014  went to the internet and found an address for them in Pennsylvania, Phoenixville, PA 19460  PO Box 3002, Darius Atkinson- President . I don't know if this address is vald .
I checked the BB site for PA  nothing for this business turns up same for FL and Missouri BBB.

I found VAC (Vehicle Administration Center) info on website  http://wwww.complaintslist.com/warranties/vehicle administration center    maybe this can be of some help

I received a "2nd attempt" notice and I didn't know what it was. They make it seem like it is from your dealership by putting the make name on the front. In my case they used "Honda" which is why it made me think it was actually from them so I called the number. The whole time they just try to sign you up for what they call "an extended warranty" this was all a fake and once I knew it wasn't my dealer I declined the offer and told them to never contact me again. Do not fall for them!!!
