800-338-6441 is, in fact, HSBC Mortgage Company.  Why they call every day up to 8 times commencing at 7:56am until 9:50pm, for the last three months, is mind boggling.  The mortgage is up to date, on time, never late.  They call daily and send reminder coupons, and leave cards at your door.  Our payments are set up as an automatic electronic payment every month and is paid on time.  We are already in the accelerated mortgage payment program.  This is a form of harrassment and a huge waste of corporate funds to pay people to remind you to pay when there is no valid reason for them to do so.  I would love to know when I signed up for daily reminders, monthly coupons and hand delivered cards to my door?  Interestingly, my mortgage has been with HSBC for more than 10 years and has an excellent payment history, but in the last year, for some reason, they find it necessary to constantly remind me to pay something that has been paid.  They are aggressive wanting check numbers and the date they can mark it has been sent.  Even providing this information doesn't make the constant reminding stop.  HOW DO WE GET IT TO STOP?  I have blocked the telephone number, and so they call from a different number.  This is insane.  Are there no laws in place to protect the consumer from this?  If so, apparently HSBC has found some sort way around it.   Perhaps their point is to have one pay off the 30 year mortgage immediately, within a one month time period.

Just got a call from this no. at 8:30. Never leaves message. It's HSBC and when you call them back you get a foreign person who can't hear English.

calls at least 10 times per day on my cell phone.  nobody is ever there.  stop harassing me!

Did post once but still getting 5-6 calls a day -  as one person said they are pure slime - I put a block on my number along with other numbers and this one and another number keep calling - they even were able to break through the block.  The other number Optimum was able to block again - they are investigating this number and will work to block it permanently again.  Even with blocks they find a way to get through - annoying and harassment.

I received phones calls from this numbers everyday. I usually do not respond to 800 numbers. I did it today, I some called my first name before they hung up.

(800) 338-6441 has called my home, cell and business phone numbers unsolicited.

I tried http://whocallsme.com to find out who keeps calling me several times a day for months - thought they gave up but must have taken a break because of Sandi as I got four calls today - under this it claims it's HSBC mortgage collection - I don't know why I would get phone calls from them as my mortgage is always paid on time.  They never leave a message - I just come home to numerous calls on the caller ID.

THEY KEEP CALLING-- 10 TIMES A DAY WITH NO MESSAGE!!  WE RE FINANCED TWO MONTHS AGO-JUST CLOSED AND EVEN CALLED THEM BECAUSE THAT IS WHO OUR MORTGAGE WAS WITH TILL RECENTLY TO TELL THEM TO STOP SENDING US OUR PAYMENT COUPON AND CALLING US FOR MONEY. WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY HAD ALREADY BEEN NOTIFIED OF OUR LENDER CHANGE BY OUR NEW LENDER HOLDER AND THEY DID AFTER MUCH CONVINCING STATE THEY FOUND IT IN THE COMPUTER THAT THERE ACCOUNT WITH US WAS WITHIN DAYS GOING TO BE PAID OFF. THEY ARE RUDE AND HAVE VERY THICK ACCENTS THAT ARE NOT AMERICAN!!! NEVER HAVE I BEEN SO GLAD THAT THIS PAST JULY HSBC ALSO OUR PERSONAL BANKING COMPANY WAS BOUGHT OUT BY KEYBANK.. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT KEYBANK IS LIKE A DREAM COMPARED WITH HOW BADLY AND RUDELY WE WERE TREATED BY HSBC NON AMERICANS!!!!!!!! WERE ARE SO GLAD TO BE RID OF THEM FOREVER. LETS KEEP OUR JOBS HERE PLEASE:)

It is HSBC....lenders got $800B of america taxpayers money.....for what?  Bonuses and more greed while the middle class continues to be dumped on....where are the JOBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!  All mortgage companies suck.....

The number is the collection department at HSBC mortgage. They are true slime and only want payments. No help at all.

My sister is in the hospital, 75 years old and terminal [weeks]. They wanted to know when she was going to pay.

Yup, HSBC is the worst bank you could ever be involved with and they really COULDN'T care less about anyone.

I have Hsbc and get harassed too. They suck. I just ignore all calls and pay at a branch.  Going on three years. Theyre threats are bs

I got the same card. as the 2 above. In the 'name' it says 'Collect'. it also has the date filled in for the day before. I was in and out of the house with the dog and it wasn't there until thus morning.  Very strange.

We got the same card that "stormy" got... left on the door while we were home (no knock), and no indication of who it is from.  This phone number, "IMPORTANT," and "be ready to give your account number and that we are expecting your call today."

Google says the 800 number belongs to HSBC Mortgage Corporation payment assistance line.  That company has nothing to do with our mortgage, so... ???

card left at my front door today (I was home but no one knocked)  - doesn't indicate who it is from.  Simply has this phone number on it and says IMPORTANT - also repeats the same info in Spanish - In addition says to "be ready to give your account number and that we are expecting your call today"  Very strange to get something like this at front door w/o anything to identify the company.  Has to be some kind of fraud targeting neighborhoods.
