got a call from this number today and they were asking for kava-my email address. i told them my name and the woman asked again for kava. i said my name again and she asked if i had heard of HGH and would like to take a survey. i said no and to please not call me, she quickly replied with ok (not in a nice way) and hung up.

i am on a do not call list and they are still calling me.  

Also to add to your post,  one might note that only those  Businesses who are Registered with the FTC  are allowed to access and/or purchase the DNC LIst.   It doesn't enforce any laws to anyone but those registered businesses.  Scammers and scofflaws can't get the list,   atleast from the FTC,   nor would they want it since it is not considered a prime of proven suckers nor does it offer much potential to enhance scam profits.

My MY,  you need to do some reading before you hand out advise to others.  First off,  the DNC Registry only applies to Legitimate and Registered with the FTC Telemarketing companies.  These companies are required to purchase,  update and maintain the list within their company every 30 days.   For those who violate the list,  the fine is 16K  per violation.   All other complaints about unwanted callers are handled by other government agencies,  i.e.  FCC,  FBI,   attorney generals,   FTC Proper,   but not the Do Not Cal Registry.  
Also,  registration is permanent until you remove it.   Any re-registering does nothing but put your number in limbo for 30 days and creates extra and unnecessary work for those who are tasked with maintaining the list.
BTW,   the DNC is not a government agency within itself.  The registry is maintained by the FTC and is funded through the mandatory fees charged to  "Registered"  Telemarketing businesses for the list and updates,  and by the fines administered to violators.

You do NOT have to register with the DNC list every six months. If you doubt me, go and look at their website. This phone number is spoofed and is being used by a number of organizations as the person who called me said she was Heather with card services. Sound familiar? Also it's a bad idea to *69 any number to determine who it is. There are people offshore who do the 1 ring scam. They call you and hang up. You call them back and your phone bill has been charged between $20.00 and $30.00. Also they'll say you have a business relationship with them and keep charging your phone bill. s they are not in the country, the US gov't can do little to get your money returned. Best thing to do is get a device that blocks them or not answer at all and NEVER return a call to a number you don't know.

Here is what you do. You have to register every 6 months with the DNC. When you get an unwanted call ask them to remove your number from their internal call list. Then say I am on the DNC and if you call again you are in violation.
The first call is $500 fine, second call is $1500. You can find an attorney that handles these calls and you can get money of which I have received $1000 and $500 for harassment.

did not answer. and no msg. I have an iphone and if you go to recents and to the right of the number is an i with a circle, touch that and scrool down and you can block the number from ever calling you again. I have had up to 60 solicitors in a day calling me and I learned this and now its maybe 1-2 a week. hopefully they will stop all together.

A male voice that started out with knowing my wife's first  name, then switched to knowing my first name, then  "a few questions for a brief health survey...", and I ended the call.  A surveyor with a detailed list of names.

I have been getting calls from them about 4 times per day!! Same as everyone else. They either do not say anything or they ask for 'Sarah' (no 'Sarah' here), or if  you get past the 'Sarah' part, they try to sell you HGH. I have asked several times to be taken off of their list. They say 'OK' and hang up. I can't get a name of a worker. I am also on the DO NOT CALL list. I have a MagicJack internet phone, so I can't "block" numbers, unfortunately!!! I don't understand why the FCC hasn't brought this to an end yet!!!!

They called acouple times I missed. They called again I answered it was some health thing. I told the lady I didn't do that wouldn't do that and please do not call this number again. Now they call let it ring twice and Hang up. If I answer there is no one saying anything other that distant voices. Can't someone twist their tail?

They called several times. No message. Not calling anyone back that I don't know or have business with. Too many scams out there. Annoying!

Call my house randomly at all times. I picked up once and there was nobody there. Just called again and no message. Just says "Toll Free Call" on my line.

They've called me 10+ times. If I say nothing it hangs up, and until today if I said hello it hung up. Today however, they said "Donna?" I said "Um no, Sara" and surprise- they hung up. Calling back doesn't work- the call fails.

No message left.

I get calls from this number daily, even on weekends. I never answer and they don't not leave messages. I have reported it since I am also on the DNC List.
