This number calls us constantly and it is an HGH company - Human Growth Hormone.  We don't purchase health products like this. They call constantly.  We ask them to remove us, they say they  will, and still call.  They call all hours of the night, have been rude in the past with swear words and calling us idiots.  We have tried blowing a whistle into the phone, an air horn, telling them not to call, etc.  Doesn't matter - they still call.  Have filed complaints with the Do Not Call registry.

I finally got through and a Heather answered.  The only thing I told her was I wanted my # off of her list, she took it, typed it, never asked for my name and said thank you.  It's an insurance company, and man was there a lot of noise in the background

Hello again,  this number called me about 10 minutes ago and simply answered, "hello?".  When I replied that I received a phone call she (her name is Virginia) then mentioned that it was, sorry guys about forgetting the name of the company, an insurance company.  I told her in a frustrated tone that I called yesterday to have my # taken off the list.  They have caller ID, because once I said that she replied with the # I was calling from, which was actually a work line.  My question after that was "why do I keep getting calls if you hang up on me when I answer?"  She was confused and said it is an automated system and unaware that it hung up.  Virginia's question was, "do you know that you were answering it?" DUH!  She will inform her supervisor of my comments and the fact that I informed her the companies phone # is on several e-sites with comments on this issue.  Thanks everyone, and hopefully I don't have to comment again.

This # is torturing me with calls...like all day every day!

They call me daily and as soon as i answer they hang up on me! And its a 3 times a day phone call!!!

This is a never ending stream of phone calls from an on-line insurance sales company. Someone probably put your phone number into the on-line inquiry form and now you're gonna get 100 calls before they finally give up. Talking to them is of no help because these are independent sales reps that could care less if you did or did not give your phone number. Just wait it out and don't answer numbers you don't recognize for a couple weeks. Good Luck!

They call themselves 'Essential Insurance' and are selling supplemental health insurance plans. They called me yesterday, wanted to know how much I'm paying for insurance etc,  I told them I wasn't interested. I was called back 1 hour later, they didn't say anything and hung up. I received a call this morning, when I answered the phone the woman said "Essential Insurance how can I help you?". I said "YOU called ME!" she got flustered and hung up on me.
I called them back and the guy said they "might be having technical problems" and also added that their supervisors review customer service in morning meetings and he would make a note of my call. He said my phone number HAD been marked "DNC - Do Not Call" but that I should allow 48 hours for it to take effect and said if I get any more calls I should ignore them. (uh-huh).
IF I get 1 more call from them I'll simply pass the info along to our Attorney General's website for reporting these things - then I'll ignore them.

Addendum: They have since called me 2 more times. Once again when I picked up the phone they said "how can I help you?" as if I was calling THEM! I immediately asked for a Supervisor. He told me the full company name is "Chartis Essential Health". His name is Darren Paulton. He seemed genuinely surprised that I was receiving so many calls and that people were hanging up on me. I told him I will be filing a report with our State's Attorney General.

Gotten many calls from health insurance brokers... i suspect this is them again -  i am registered on the no call list but they keep calling.

Anyone knows who calls from this phone number.

Just pick up the phone, don't say nothing, ask them off the wall questions..like who will win in the poker league this year, what's their avg in bowling...did Michael jackson really die..

for everybody on here talking crap about them i have had my policy for 2and a half years love never had any problems the best part is there's noo co-paymments or deductibles all i pay is 34.90 the reason its so affordable is because its a supplement its jus like having aflac but cheaper i love it........

I was looking for insurance under a web-site afforable health insurance. From then on now I have been received phone calls fron insurance agents selling insuran at a low price. This number call rings two time and hang up, over and over again. Stay away from insurance web-site.

I am reporting an unwanted call.  They asked for my son who is a minor and I am concerned they are preying on minors.

They hang up when I ask who it is or say I am Lars' mother and why are they calling.

So you think that people are making up stories that they are getting repetitive calls or that they're being hung up on? COMMON SENSE!!! Why would they do that? WHY would they take the time to report it here (and on other similar websites)?
I think you need to spend your time re-training your Chartis telemarketers, repairing your faulty auto-dialing system and apologizing to your offened callees and quit wasting your time defending your Company and their worthless product on here!

i keep getting numerous calls from this number who eaither calls then hangs up when i pick it up or when i just let it ring they leave no message. i tried calling it back and all i get is a busy signal.. they are using up my minutes and this is a daily thing w numerous calls every day. how do i get them to stop calling my cell...number shows up as 800-340-9697..

These people called me and offered chartis essential healthcare for a flat rate of 34.90 or some crap its total bull...i have looked them up but found nothing at all they claimed to be located in florida somewhere..do not i repeat do not go for this its a total scam and if you have i would check with your bank and put a freeze on your account to make sure they arent commiting fraud...anywayys just ignore them oh and theyll call from diff numbers too just anytime they claim to be an insurance company look them up before you go any further with them or i suggest asking for proof if they hang up its b***s***.thankks hope this helps

You know whats funny is the amount of complaints that happen to a good company like this. First not good for business if people hang up on their customers, so certainly they are not trying to do that, COMMON SENSE PEOPLE!!! I have also taken advantage of their offer, it is a tremendous suplemental insurance that my family will benefit from!!!!! As far as calling people that say they dont want call, again, why would someone waiste time and money calling someone who does not want call, not good for business. Stop piling on like all the rest. Their are still some companies that have a great product, and provide an excellent service, these people are that company!!! BE NICE!!!! Or did you not learn that when you were growing up!!!

I answered the call - it took 2 hellos before someone spoke, I was selected to win some kind of medical insurance - I adamantly said "I do not take calls from solicitors" and "we are on the National No Call List" to "remove my name from their calling list"  The woman kept arguing and I told her "goodbye" and hung up.  DO NOT WANT ANY CALLS FROM ANY SOLICITORS, EVER!

It's an on-line company trying to sell you health and medical insurance. They have independent reps in every state in the U.S.A. and you will get 100's of phone calls from all over the place but probably no voice mails. After a couple weeks the calls become less and less. Someone probably put your phone number into the on-line insurance inquiry form and now you're getting these calls. They will not stop until months go by. Good luck and don't answer and try to talk to them because it won't help. In fact, I think it makes it worse. Each sales rep is an independent and will not relay that this is a bad number. It's just a bad deal all the way around.
