The caller identified himself as being with some insurance company in Florida. He said he was calling about my 2004 Lexus RX330 (how did he know that I had one?). Thanks to the gov't bailout, blah blah blah (I didn't listen because I knew a sales pitch was coming) he'd like to offer me a special deal on an extended warranty. Frankly, the tone in his voice sounded like he was surprised I hadn't hung up on him by the time he got to the end of his speech. I said no thanks and he abruptly said "thank you for your time" and hung up. I suppose he had hundreds of other calls to make today.

Got a call from a guy who spoke so fast i couldn't understand his name or company. He asked me if i owned a Toyota Prius. I ask who this was and he hung up. How can this be stopped???!!!

this is not a real insurance company - it is a warranty scam, been going on for months. Obviously they ignore do not call lists.

Have been receiving calls from this number non stop the last few days. Read a few entries on this site and a few others to figure out what it is they wanted from me. After reading I decided to answer the next call for some fun;)
Spoke with a Michale, he told me the call was on the behalf of the Principal Insurance or Assurance Group, out of Boca Raton FL. Not to clear on what he said. Whatever the case may be, I cant search out either on the web.
When I asked Michale if he understood how the National Do Not Call Registry worked, he got all flustered with me. He told me that it was his lunch break and he wold put me on their do not call list. Like all of a sudden I've inconvenienced him?!?
If your not on the list, go to the site and register. www.donotcall.gov
Check it out and learn your rights to privacy.

That dude was a dick-head! Called me at work from 800-341-3552 on my cell to ask if i still had a Toyota Corrolla. I asked him to hold on for one second while i punched out to break, then he hung up. Then I called back and got the text message thing. The fact that he seemed so determined to reach me, than an a** by hanging up, as well as knowing my car struck my curiosity. Which is the only reason I searched this online. Who woulda thunk there would be multiple websites about this number? Another website provides an alternate of 800-712-6600. It's All State Insurance Company. You know, with the commercials with the big black man who asks "Are you in good hands?" Maybe the number is related?

The first website listed below gave me the info on the number 800-341-3552 and stated "In Use since '07 with Signal One (they make $ from wrong #s)" The second website has some good information on who's behind the 800 number.

They call you about 8 times a day and hang up on you. When you go to cvall them back you get a message telling you that you will recieve a text message. The text message subscribes you to Number Info Services for 9.99 a month. This is BullShi*!!!
