This is a legit call from QVC customer service. In my case, they warned me that someone had placed an order using my Discover card that was shipping to a different address. They cancelled the order after I told them I did not place it. I then called Discover and had my card replaced.

I too got a call from this number saying they wanted to verify an order before it was shipped. I did not purchase from QVC. Called bank, it went to their fraud department and I found out that my card was used and they were trying to prevent the fraud. (verify I placed the order). I did not, they canceled the order. I called my bank and they also verified that my card was stolen and verified that they had that same number for QVCs fraud dept.

Be very aware, this number is not a QVC number, a message was left on my machine with this number, a women named Patricia (kept clearing her throat) asked me to call her back to confirm the purchase. $58 had already been taken from my account to pay for a camcorder she fancied!! Apparently I was buying in installments. Obviously she needed some other information so she could buy some more stuff! I did not call this number back, I just went online to the actual QVC website and cancelled the order, unfortunately they would not give me the address that it was to be shipped to, I'm in canada and this was somewhere in the states. I would advise not to call the number back in case they a merely verifying your number and can go ahead and order more.

Did you consider that it may actually be QVC calling about a scam order that someone else made to them using your credit card?  That happened to us.

I received a call from this number also, it is clearly some kind of fraudulent service, and then days later, my check card was charged $500.  Of course I had never made a purchase from QVC at any point in time, so absolutely know this is a scam, somehow the perpetrator has a way of obtaining people credit card information.

They left a message saying they're from QVC, and asking me to verify a purchase from a credit card.  I'd like to verify my fist in the guys face for being a fraud, which they obviously are.

I received a call from 1-800-342-1756 about needing to verify ship-to information from QVC.  I don't order from QVC.

Called and said they were QVC.  Asked me to call them.  I dialed the number, but it didn't go to QVC.  Then I called QVC.  The lady didn't recognize the number.  Checked Caller ID box. It said Embarq Privacy.

they called to verify if i ordered something.  i called qvc and they said that they did need to verify shipping address.  seems legit.

Same - called said needed info regard to QVC order - I do not wathc or buy from QVC nor does my wife.  Sounds like a scam

Asc to call about Discover charge

Called and said they were from QVC.  Wanted me tp call them at 800-342=1756.  I called.  Did not go to QVC.  Called QVC.  They did not recognize it.  Checked Caller ID.  It said Embarq Privacy.
