A "Melanie" just called my place of employment.  Without identifying herself, she asked to speak with my name.   When i got on the line, she asked me to verify my home address and social security #.  I asked why, and was told that she was from AIC but could not tell me why she was calling until i verified my address and ss#.  Sounds suspect to me, and this forum proves it.

How do we stop these calls to our voice mail or just coming in???

We are receiving this automated call for some one who does not live at our address. it goes into our voice mail and runs out the time. My wife responded to  the 800-342-8576 and threaten to take legal action if it does not stop.

This number calls at least once a day and sent a letter to my wife stating that she owed $1,200.00 on a credit card that she never even had. The letter said that they were willing to accept a $350.00 "settlement" to clear her debt but the caller never leaves a voice message. Beware!

Ready for revenge said: This number is allied international credit services, they attempt to collect on junk debts. This means they buy at fraction of dollar amount the negative balances from banks books. They do no research to authenticate the legitamacy of the supposed consumer debt. coincidentally the acronym ACS so happens to match American cancer society so they also utilize that to solicit bogus donations. All these criminals want is people to hand over bank account information. They will harrass, bully and trick you. Do not cave in! What they are doing is illegal and they are simply betting that either you cannot afford a lawyer or do not want legal attention. The precedent is set that harrassment cases like this are worth $1000 + legal fees. Although they have lawyers that does not make them honest or lawabidding. It is time to send criminals like this to jail, they are stealing from America.

This piece of crap calls every Sunday morning at about 8:20A.M.  Says if this is not Paublo please hang up now.  Which i could find this piece of crap.

robo caller, when call back no one answer.

I got the samething. I can never reach anyone. What can we do to take these people to court ?

I have received 2 automated phone calls from this "Allied" collection agency in the past two weeks.  I tried twice to return the call and can never speak with a live human being.  I am told in the recording to call "James Taylor" with this company.  Last week I actually got through and they do have a James Taylor there.  I left him a voice mail and have not had the grace of a return phone call from him until I got yet another automated call again today.  They can't even pronounce my name correctly.  Is this a scam?  I have no bad debt.  It's my feeling that a legitimate company like this would send you a notice in the mail rather than hounding you with automated phone calls.  Thoughts anyone??

Called collecting a debt through a department store i have never stepped foot in - then asked for the last 4 of my social to verify... don't do it- its ID theft!!!

Whoever is blowing up my phone from this # needs to take a break from it.  Seriously.
