This number has called me four times in the last week! Also a few times in the past. Usually it's around noon and I'm working so I don't see it, but one time was at quarter to 8 in the morning. It's just a short ring, and then they hang up. Why are they doing this? I don't know why they keep calling when I don't answer. It's getting very annoying.

This number keeps calling as with other posts,  my phone rings once, they hang up.  I get at least, 3-4 calls from them per week. How to stop this blatant harrassment? ???????

I have been getting calls from 800-343-5945 every day. They ring once and then hang up. Don't know who they are but I'm getting tired of them calling. Since I don't know the # I never call back.

Constantly call, ring one time, hang up. Refuse to call back!!!

Calls several times a week. Only lets it ring one time. It's not a debt collector. Someone hoping you'll call back so they can steal your info.

Received a brand new phone from work, only boss & wife have the number and the next day I got a phone call from this number.  Said the company was ERC, appears to be a debt collection company.  The phone only rang 2x then ended.  When I called back and listened to the menu, it sounds suspect at a minimum if not just fake.

Glad to see I don't need to waste my time on this. Will definitely look into reporting this number. I get called daily before 10 am. I am in the middle of my commute when they call. No one is ever on the other end. If it truly is a collection agency, you would think they would answer..jerks..

Keep calling everyday, this is rediculous, they should not have access to my personal#, I dont give it out.

I would like to have this number removed. 800-343-5945.

Same. One ring, hung up. No message left. They've been calling me for a few weeks now, I haven't called them back. Sometimes they call 3 or 4 times.a.day.

Scam, this company called me on my cell requesting I verify personal information, when i refused they threatened me with a lawsuit, I laughted and told them to not call me on my personal cell phone ever again and that they could send me their claim by mail .  

Just got a call from this number and they just hung up, no message.

rang through 4-5 times. I didn't answer cause I was roaming. glad I didnt after seeing this. Friday at 2:20

My cell phone just rang once and then hung up. Called from another phone and a machine answered saying they were calling from ERC.

This number called , rang twice, they hung up

Same here! Rang short n hung up.. Called back and it's a recording ERC.. Pretty annoying

This is just a way to see if your phone is a working number.

The CALL AND HANG up is a tatic to get you to call them back. That way - "WE DID NOT CALL YOU, YOU CALLED US. WE CALLED YOU BY MISTAKE BUT SINCE YOUR ONE THE PHONE..."

This is a tatic called Ghost Dialing. They do it to confirm phone numbers in their database. To check on numbers that hang up on you dial *67, Number...

That way they cannot get your Caller ID. Check in your phone, you can turn off Caller Id as well.

This is a collection agency. I asked them3 times to take my cell phone number off their list. I don't know the guy they are looking for in Woonsocket RI.
