UCB seems to call our house with lots of different numbers. This one here, plus now also 419-794-9091, and I have also noticed they use local numbers as well. I made the mistake of picking one up (I usually don't answer if I don't know who it is) and was told it was UCB. If you do a a search in reverse lookup it comes up as VOIP Boston (In my case they were using Boston local voip numbers). They are certainly clever, and persistent, if nothing else.

this is a bill collector - it actually came up on my caller id as "Bill C". Clever. Anyway, they called to see if our listed (unfortunately) home number was for a person who happens to have the same last name, or if we knew that person. When I told them no (which is true), she said they would make a note of it and the calls would stop. We'll see.

This number is repeatedly calling at night

They called again asking for somebody named Terrel.  I explained that I am not Terrel nor do I know any Terrels and I have had this phone number for over a year.  Hopefully they will quit calling me first thing in the morning.

It's a debt collector used or probably owned by Verizon. Verizon is not your friend ever. I am trying to have my day in court in front of a Judge who can see the evidence against them for breach of contract. I paid for a service I never recieved and after informing them and refusing to keep paying for nothing and trying to resolve this issue even with their attorneys. I get nonstop calls from this debt collector even on weekends and holidays!  I even expolained at length to them and the first thing they said "how would you like to arrange a payment today?!?!..... I replied " just send it directly to my home address". They still call.

I pay my Verizon Bill automatically on my credit card which is current.  Why would they keep calling me and not say anything?  They call every morning.  I can't sleep in on my week off.  I have to leave it on because I'm on call.  Not sure this is Verizon.

this number is from a Verizon bill collector. they dont say anything when you answer! I had service through them and disconnected it because of the outrageous misc charges for just a press of a button. I have a prepaid phone through Verizon now and the bill collector is calling my prepaid phone which no one has the number to except my husband!? Whats even more weird is that they delete themselves from the call log on my phone. even if i answer and hang up or dont answer at all. Im pretty sure this against some law. Its a way they can delete proof of the creditor harassment from their company because they call me at all hours of the night even 1 AM!

caller id on my service indicates Bill C.  I'm assuming short for Bill Collector???

I don't answer anything thats a 1-800 number, if it's that important they should leave a name and reason they call.

Received calls fro m1-800-344-8192 for about 2 days now and have no idea who they are and they're calling my private cell phone number, which I take care to rarely give out.

This number just keeps calling all day long never leaves a message they need to stop I'am on the no call list I do not thinl it works.

They call regular , never leave a message,  I do not answer 800 numbers at all and they will not leave a message and I tried to call back but its nothing.

They do the same thing to me.  Getting pretty angry.

I received 2 calls already from this number, the caller don't leave any messages I don't know that's their reasons for calling, I simply don't answer 'cause it's an 800 number

this number calls me everyday anywhere between 10 to 20x per day including weekends. the one time i did pickup no one said anything...>.<

I answered a call from this number and they asked for my husband when I told them he was not here she asked when I expected him home I said i dont today and she proceded to ask for his cell number. I asked what it was in reference to and she informed me that it was against the law to tell me so I said well then I cant help you and hung up.

They call daily, and disconnect as soon as you pick up.

If you have a smart phone you can install an app called "Mr. Number" on your phone. You can block as a pick up & hang up or block so they go straight to your voicemail. Otherwise maybe the service you get your prepaid phone through could help you block it through them?  I <3 Mr. Number, considering I "inherited" a HUGE amount of debt in my divorce. Good luck!!!

Same here. It's really pissing me off. At first I though it was one of my friends but I just searched up the number and found a bunch of people discussing this c***-sucking number.

How do I block these calls, I have a prepaid cell and this number has been calling all the time.  Any help would be appreciated.

Verizon Wireless dogged me for months after I was in a serious accident and was in the hospital for months & months (and unconscious).  I have been with them for years, and this is how they treated me (and my family).  They kept disconnecting me, and I had to reach doctors, etc.  I dropped them like a hot potato.  They are animals.  All of their calls are blocked now.  I don't let anyone mistreat me like that.

Verizon Bill Collector

My husband and I keep getting calls from these people, they don't give any information, we have no debt and don't even own a credit card! They call constantly and are rude.

They just started calling my number a few days ago and they call several times a day.  The caller ID says "Toll Free Number", but nothing else.

This number just recently started calling me, in the past week or so, and they call frequently.  The caller ID just says "toll free call".
