This is probably an all in one call center. Some folks report insurance companies, others report bill collectors. To me it was a call from a registered agent service for my corporation.

I blocked them, trouble solved.

Hello, thank you for your post as it was helpful for me in identifying the caller prior to speaking with them myself. I'd suggest you inquire with your local agent's office as to why they did not know this type of customer service campaign was in effect; depending on their answer, maybe look to switch your policy to another local agent. I called my agents' office and they were well aware of the service calls and reiterated the purpose. Allstate consistently makes new policies based on state & federal regulations affecting the insurance industry, some of which benefit the consumer with less expensive policies (this has been my experience twice over the past 6 years).
I hope the aforementioned helps!

NOT a spam call. Customer service call for Allstate to schedule an appointment with your LOCAL agent to review your policy to ensure you are receiving all the available discounts & are on the best plan for your needs. They do NOT take ANY personal information over the phone and do NOT try to sell you ANYTHING! Just a company reaching out to ensure their customers are receiving the best coverage and service. I set an appointment up to meet with my local agent next week.

If these are legitimate calls from a valued company, then why do they not leave a voice mail? I do not conduct business with any company that is so unprofessional that they will call my phone (and my cell phone number), but do not leave a voice mail. To me that means they are not interested in assisting me with any legitimate or legal service, but are a scam. Even if it is a legitimate company, if the company hires unprofessional third party vendors, I have discontinued service with the legitimate company. As I just started with Allstate, if I get another one of these calls, then I will be cancelling my new service with Allstate, as the only person I expect to conduct business with is my insurance agent, not some unprofessional third party.
In this day and age, no legitimate company should be using an outside vendor to go on phising/fishing expeditions, as I do not give out my information, since there is a high likelihood that information will be stolen. I will be very disappointed in Allstate if this is the case, since I told them to opt me out of any call list.

supposedly allstate calling to thank me for my business and wanted me to make an appointment with my agent to discuss my 'insurance needs'...if i wanted to discus anything with any company then i would call them.
i will not answer any call where i do not know the number and it irritates me that companies i do business with will not identify themselves through caller id so if they won't identify themselves then i will not answer the call. very irritating !

You may be on the "Do Not Call" National list but if the center is based overseas...guess what? they don't care. its better just to hang up and block.
All you are doing is confirming that your phone is valid and will be sold to another overseas call center and guess what? you are going to get even more calls.

Super-perturbed now...this is the second forum regarding this number that called me to set up an appointment with my Allstate agent. I have Allstate, I personally know my agent, and when I called his office to confirm the appointment I scheduled, they had no idea what I was even asking. "Who called you?" Jeez.
Either it is a phishing scam, or Allstate really needs to get their s*** together.

Said that my Allstate agent was interested in discussing my current insurance coverage, asked if I wanted an appointment on this day or that day. I said Sure, and chose one of the appointment times. They said they would send me a confirmation email, which I did not receive. Two days before the appointment, I called my agent's office to confirm. They had NO IDEA what I was talking about. I felt very scared, because whoever this person was, they now knew 1) who my insurance agent was, 2) my email address and 3) that I was not going to be at home during the appointment time. If this was truly Allstate, then they need to get more organized.

Two calls in last 3 days, always after 7:30pm Alaska Time; always when I am outside watering the garden.
Recalled back to give them a hard time but phone number won't do call back.
Left no message and apparently no ID that it was even an Allstate telemarketer as in previous posts here.

800-345-6545...calls alot, leaves no messages. If it is truly Allstate then they need to identify themselves, otherwise don't call. I went to the NCO site someone listed above and clicked on the statement 'wrong person, I have no debt' but they ask for a lot of personal information that I refuse to give. I'll just add them to the Do Not Call list and ignore them.
| Alan 2013-07-26 01:26:40 Unknown |
That may have actually been legitimate if you have Allstate homeowners insurance and there had been a storm. I could see an insurance company calling customers to try to keep them away from fly-by-night repair operators, since the insured might then get mad if the insurance company didn't pay for unauthorized work.

I get called too from this number. Don't know who they are, but to get back at them I answer the call. I say hello, then immediately put the phone on mute. Then I let them speak to themselves. :)
| Wilm 2013-06-14 18:39:52 Unknown |
Constant calls. I never answer, of course, but I want them to stop. Better yet, I want them jailed and tortured.
