What business has this number?

I was in an accident but the liability has yet to be established because I am fighting it in court and yet I am getting phone calls and certified mail notices as well as my license being suspended, etc.... How is it that they can attempt to collect the debt when liability is still in question and I NEVER received any communication from the original creditor/insurance company on this issue???  Sounds like I need to pull the Fair Debt Collection Act into this....

I was in an accident that wasn't my fault. I was hit from behind I sent the proof to DMV so they wouldn't suspend my license and even though I have proof this company out of the blue that I have never heard of ccs placed my license on suspension. They want the money that the guy that hit me claimed on his insurance. I have been fighting for a year. Every time I prove that I don't owe them they send to another collection agency. I am so frustrated. And your right you cant get passed the beginning the phone call without a 11 digit file # that don't have and neither does DMV. What to do?

My license is being held up for reinstatement by the state of colorado. The DMV told me to call 1-800-345-7502 CCS to pay on an accident I was involved in. When I called the number it asks for an eleven digit account number (which I don't have, and havd never seen!) and there is no possible way to get passed that prompt. I cannot reach a real person, and I have no idea what to do! To top it off, the DMV is harder to get a hold of than tha damn president!
