I got a call from a guy how said he was Chris from Discover, its not a sales call but had a opportunity to save some money, at my work number. I didn't call back because I checked here. I think I will have to block this number.

A "Conner" called refusing to say what it was about. They specially wanted to speak to my brother. They kept trying to guess who I was. They called back a second time with a female, Melissa. Same deal.

Somene named Chase ( with discover ?) called my work number before arrived at work. I called Discover, at the number on my card. Discover does not have my work number. This is a bogus caller.

recieved a call from 1-800-347-0354, stating they were Discover Card. Called Discover and they confirmed they had never called me, nor did they have this phone number which happens to be NOT in a state where I live but was on vacation and made a payment from this line at my boyfriends lake place! He thought it was a collector! And my credit score is huge! Needless to say, it is a telemarketer and you should block this phone number.

Called my parents home, then asked them for my work number. Of course they refused. I called "Adena speaking may I have your name?" I gave her my name and put on hold for 2 minutes. Hung up. I am not behind in my bill so I know it is not that. Bogus!!

When I called the number (Discover Card) the person answering the phone refused to help me. I spoke to their supervisor who also REFUSED to help me and REFUSED to let me speak to their supervisor. I cut up my card.

Comical - they claimed to have an opportunity to save me "up to seventy dollars". It can either be Discover Card, Citi Card or Amex, b/c I admittedly owe money to all three - (Yes, I am in debt, I love all of the "It's a scam, I don't owe any money" posts - most of the time they have the right number folks) - I have seen others report that it is Discover but I am not calling back so can't verify- but I can tell you it is most likely an effort to collect a debt!!!

I went to whocallsme.com which had someone to say it was a scam. I don't know I didn't answer. I am thankful for this and the other website because it keeps me informed.
