I got a call from this number

Calls constantly. No one in my household has a Discover Card.

got call no one there.

Got this call, who is it?

getting several calls day & night from 800-347-2683 for over a week now, no one ansers when we pick up.  Am reporting it to the FCC & BBB.

they call *ALL THE TIME*.  Geez.

Got a call from 800-347-2683 several times in the last 3 days...I answered on first ring this time and he wanted to ask me 4 ?'s about this up coming election.  I told him no thanks and hung up!  I should have listened to what he said , then hit him with "Why are you calling from a Discover #?"

Have been getting this for 2 days now. Can this be stopped? I don't answer these.

I receive calls throughout the day and early evening.  They never leave a message.

This sounds to me like a scam group is using the Discover number again.  We have gotten three calls this week alone. The incoming call is from 800 347-2683, but they ask me to call back Kathy at 800 347-3072. Then they ask for personal identification such as home address, phone number or social secrutity number. First time they called without leaving a message.  The other two times it was clear that "Kathy" was two different women imposters. How do I get off the scam list?

I called this number 800-347-2683 to make changes to my Discover account.  It's the number listed on the back of the cards.  

It is possible for people to change their callback number, and falsify it so it comes up wrong.  It could be someone falsifying their callback number to discover to try to phish account info from you.  Don't give out private info to anyone who calls you, even if the number matches.  It can be falsified.  Call them back at the verified company number to make any transaction.  

My friend got phished (different scam, supposedly Alaska Credit Union calling) last week.  It sucked.

This is Discover Card asking if i received my new card in the mail. I had received it but never activated it. Lady was nice and once we activated new / deactivated the old, we were done. Not a collections call.

Calls very late phone rings for a long time if I do not answer

Noticed a $113.95 charge to my bank acct for Discover EGift. Never bought or talked with anyone from this number.

they called for someone else at my house i told them they were not here hung up before she could say anything else in 5 minutes calls back i said they wouldnt be here until tomorow morning, at 8am they called , they keep wanting them to get direct withdrawl,  we gave them the check number with payment and they still keep calling....

got a call from them 2x today, answered the 2nd time and they hung up-go figure!

Caller called right before noon  I do not answer 800 numbers  very annoying when you have a cell phone

phone call usually in the evening, a few in the afternoon
they usually hang up before I can answer, tried to call back and got a busy signal

Caller asked "Is this a business?". I replied, "yes." Caller apologized for taking my time and wished me a nice weekend. End of call.

Receiving call late in the evening usually after 9 pm.
