Write down their number on a post it note and flush it down the toilet, youll get the same response from the do not call list.

We're from Cullman & got the same call yesterday from Trudy Young. What kills me is that she said my "entry form has been selected". I'm thinking, "what entry form"?  The message was left on my voice mail. It's bad enough to have to put up with all the calls from various non-profit organizations & the political calls, but now to have to deal with this junk... What's worse is that I've had some groups call my cell phone too! What's the point of a DNC list if no one abides by it?

Got a call mar. 25th saying "this is Trudy Young with the DBS Gifting Center in Huntsville, AL...you're a finalist in $25k home makeover...press one to accept prize".  I had entered an online sweepstakes for a 50k kitchen makeover, thought this might be related, but I checked my browser history and revisited the link, but nothing about DBS.  Then I thought DB in DBS might be Direct Buy, which I've gotten unwanted phone calls from for years.  I didn't call back. Glad to see other posts have confirmed my suspicion.

Just called and said that "my entry" was drawn and I am eligible to win a $25,000 home makeover. I decided to play along and hit "1" to claim my prize. Long story short, this is Direct Buy in Huntsville and they offer hundreds of thousands of home improvement, home furnishing, and home electronics products at remarkably low prices. You just have to join their exclusive club that costs thousands of dollars a year.

The caller set up an appt. for my husband and I (which we will not show for) and we must bring 2 forms of ID. When we arrive we will be given a key. We will then be subjected to a 90 minute "tour" where they try to get you to "join the club". Then you try your key and if it opens something you win the home makeover if not, you win a four day vacation.

Asked me if I was married, made over $50,000 a year and had a major credit or debit card.

I usually don't answer any numbers that appear to be a telemarketer but for some dumb reason I answered this call. Shame on me.  LOL!

I just got the same call today with a girl named "Brittany" saying I won $25,000 for a home improvement makeover in San Antonio. Left me a message with a number which was also 800-347-4550. Didn't call back cause I haven't entered in anything. She also said "Once again congratulations and let's make it a great day!" Sounds like a total scammer to me!!

Received a cheerful call today saying I was a winner in the $25,000 home inmprovement makeover by local (Huntsville) whatever. Would be nice. The number was 1-800-347 -4550. When I called back it was a prize center. It's called before.

got a call from Brittany Monroe at 1-800-817-7420, from Ala. won a ford explorer, would be in my best interest to call the number back to get my prize.

We need to report them since they are ignoring the Do Not Call list. They might get fined.

They must be calling all of Huntsville, AL....I just got the same call???

Just got this call saying I had won house makeover in New Orleans, and it would be in my "best interest" to call back.  These kinds of calls are getting more numerous, and yes, I am on the "do not call" list.

Just got the same message on my voicemail in Huntsville, AL.  Caller was Trudy Young.  I guess Brittany's voice finally gave out.

Called my number stating my entry had been selected.... I have not entered anything.

Nothing but a scam. The gentleman called from direct buy saying I have won 25,000 home makeover. Please help the unfortunate who are being called every day with this nonsense...Money and personal information  are being solicited... This is so very sad.........

Just got a call from this number saying I had won a prize from DPS and to either call the number back later or stay on the line to claim my prize.  I wrote the number down, but do not plan to call back.

I got a call from this number.  They told me I had been randomly selected in a drawing for some home builders association or something in Huntsville.  They said I was a finalist for a prize.  They put me on hold twice.  A lady said this was "Best Buy."  They asked me to verify my age range and that I made $50,000 or more a year.  When I said I did not make that amount, they said I was ineligible.

Just got the same call from Britney, this time in Dallas.  Very doubtful that there is really a prize out there.

It happens because scammers and others ignore the DNC list.  They also attempt to use loopholes such as surveys and prize giveaways to circumvent the law.  Most of these so called prize giveaways are fronts to get you to attend a high pressure sales seminar for timeshares, travel clubs, etc.  Others are an out and out scam to get you to send them money so they can "deliver" your prize. If it sounds too good to be true, it is.

I have registered our numbers in the Do not call registry, yet we continue to get these kinds of calls! How is this happening?

Received a similar message on Jan 28 except caller's name wasn't stated and she said that you have won twenty five thousand dollars in a sweepstakes. After that a young sounding male got on the line and said "press one to claim your prize or 2 to enable do not call".

This Message was left on my Voicemail in Huntsville AL:
