I received a call on 8009452941 with request to call 8003478859.  When I called the direct number from the web site they said that they didn't think that they originated that call.

Received a call from this number this morning wanting to go over our USAA accounts, specifically our Banking accounts.  I'm sorry, but I do not believe USAA would call asking for this info without me instigating the inquiry.  Too many people out there with nothing to do but to defraud us of our life's earnings and in these troubled times they will stop at nothing to do so.  Be careful who you give your info to.  I've already been hit with $2600 debit transaction in Georgia, while I live in California.  USAA  took over and returned the money to my account.

Your so ignorant.  USAA made changes as of Feb 1 regarding overdraft protection.  I called a known USAA number (from their website).  The phone call they made to me was in my profile and they made the changes they had to make.  I could care less if you believe me or not.  I thought it was a scam too but when I called the number DIRECTLY on their website they told me it was not.  I certainly did not call the number on my caller ID nor the number left in the message.  You can believe whatever you want.  I never said to call the number back on your caller ID nor to call the number left in the message.

CNYRN had this same posting under the other 800 number the caller used to leave a message pretending to be USAA Federal Savings Bank. CNYRN is probably working with the criminals involved in this scam because if he/she did speak to the real USAA then they would know the call is bogus. Ignore their post, it is misleading and false.

I searched the USAA website and this number was not on it.  I called USAA with a phone number from their direct website to see if this call was legit.  They said it was a call from them.

This is a fraudulent number. Report it to USAA and the will investigate.

Got a call from this number as well.  In a message on my machine, they claimed to be from USAA Federal Savings Bank, but the call was so vague and general in nature that I was suspicious.  Still trying to figure it out.  Have not called them back, and I'm early in my research.
