They are calling me everyday and numerous times a day.

They have just begun to call me.  I screen ALL my calls so when I receive a call I do not want, I simply do not answer.  After a while they go away (usually).  

If they want to waste their time calling me, that's their lost luck.  I have no intention of answering or listening to any garbled voice mail they leave.

Another call from 800-348-7569, this time they identified themselves as Green Tree Mortgage who does hold the mortgage on the house. They hung up when I asked them what they wanted.  

If you have a mortgage with Ocwen then you will be contacted by this company (Assurant) as well as other numbers identified as United Nearshore and others I haven't yet documented.  All these callers want is to sell you some type of insurance related to your mortgage, whether it be disability, accidental death, homeowners' warranty, etc.  Reporting them to the FCC without first doing a legal written request for them to stop sales calls will do you no good, as you literally gave them permission to do this when you signed your mortgage paperwork that included a few paragraphs mentioning giving future assigns and assignees permission to contact you regarding your mortgage.

Find the contact information for USPS mailing address and send a letter to Ocwen that includes your loan and phone numbers.  Ask them specifically to remove you from special mail and telephone offers related to your loan and let them know you've been contacted at inappropriate times.  Let them know that this will serve as your first and final request for them to cease and desist with sales calls.  Send this letter to them certified, requesting a signature receipt, so you can prove they received the letter in the event you need to.

If calls persist after thirty days (give them this much time to remove your name from the lists and allow for their offices to receive updated lists) then report them to the FCC and include a copy of your letter along with proof of mailing and receipt with the report.

I received a call from the number a few days ago 800-348-7569 and when calling it back all is says is "welcome to verizon", "welcome to verizon", "welcome to verizon" and then cuts off. It could be a verizion collection department since I am 3 days past on the due date. Hope this helps.

Will not stop calling my house

We are getting several calls a day from this number. It is very annoying and we would like to stop calls from this number.

They called several times.  They left no message.  I finally answered and no one answered.  I called the number back.  They say they offer additional mortgage insurance.  They got number from a mortgage company, but not the one that I use nor my second.  I had them remove my number. They say it takes 30 days and apologize if it calls again.

Ocwen is my mortgage holder as well and as far as I'm concerned they are a bunch of crooks!

Just get Skype for your phone service and drop your landline.  Skype works great and you can block any number that you don't want.  Much better than a regular phone since the phone companies sell your info.  Skype doesn't.  That number is probably Ocwen... they have my mortgage and when it's a few days close to the deadline they start calling.

JUST KEEP CALLING I CALLED BACK GOT A RECORDED MESSAGE TO CALL BACK DURING THEIR WORKING HOURS, HEY THEY JUST CALLED SO THEY MUST BE GETTING OVER TIME TO HARASS ME!

Called me, no name. I called back. Message said Assurant Specialty Properties and something about insurance. Just trying to sell insurance.

they call 2 or 3 times a day. most of the time i am at work. they also are starting to call on weekends now. was out at time and they called on a sat.

They called while I was out. Answering machine must of picked up before the live person did. Heard some man talking about Christopher Walken. I have nothing in collections so why are they calling me? And why was this man talking about Christopher Walken?

This number needs to be put on some type of list and investigated by the States Atty. general.
It continues to be very, very frustrating !to me this HARRASSMENT AT ITS BEST!!

If this is Ocwen as one poster indicated then they are a large and stupid collection agency. No one can call you after 9pm your time. See their website for their address and send a cease and desist and demand for proof letter by certified mail. Calling does no good and does not preserve any of your rights. Also collectors are exempt from the no-call law. SEND THE LETTER or they will never stop!

They just keep calling. They wont leave a message or talk to you when you answer.
