Caller that shows a caller ID to be different than  the actual company one is calling from is called spoofing. Spoofing is illegal but with today's technology, not that hard to do. The reason they use the caller ID stating that they are with the federal government, is they are hopeful that if you see those words "federal government", you will pick up the telephone.

Yeah I got a call from our friends at occ, aka one click cash, aka not getting your money back suckazz!!!

One click cash was taken to task by several states, one of them being Cali, so they can no longer go in to your account via ach transaction. Their only recourse is to ask you to send them a check or money order, etc...to pay the outstanding balance. They can't even put it on your credit report. Not that you have good credit anyway; or you probably wouldn't have gotten mixed up with this shady loan shark that now calls themselves OCC. Don't pay them, they can't do anything, they can't even break your legs.

So glad to be free of these sharks. My health problems led me to them and then the stress of paying them such high premiums added to my poor health. I hope some of us never have to do this again, I know I won't, I learned my lesson about dancing with the devil.

I got a call from Rodney with one click, he left a message and I called back, he immediately asked for the last four of my social and got nasty when I would not give it to him, and asked what can I do with the lat four of your social, he asked for my phone number and refused to tell me the full name of the company.  Then got really nasty saying I called him, i told him I was returning his call and wanted to know why he left a message for him to call me.  He said well tell me your phone number and I am not giving you the name of my company again I already said it once and hung up on me.

This company called my cell phone, this guy named Jason who speaks with a slight southern accent leaves a voicemail saying "I want to help you, please give me a call back:, blah blah blah, my loan with OCC was paid back in 2009, I changed bank accounts since then too. I am not calling this clown back. This may be a scam, this time by an American rather than an Indian/Asian.

My bank account had to be closed. I had talked to the bank about this company and even showed them what I had borrowed and I had paid that plus the interest they told me up front. The bank also said I needed to just stop payment. I said I need a new account number but I was told they would still be able to access it. OCC never got any more money but the bank charged me for two more overdrafts but at least did not send them any more money. It was looking like they were just as bad as the scammers, especially since I told them what OCC was doing.so I just closed it and went to another bank. I have not changed my phone number - that will be in a couple of months, but they still call me at work; I paid the loan off 5 years ago! and yes I did talk to them early on, but they said I was still not finished paying them. with their deductions from my account, I calculated I paid over $1200 in interest for a $300 loan. If they want to come after me, come ahead. I have all my statements still and welcome a chance in court.

* * You really MUST read this * *

My mother received a call from 800-439-9418 looking for my daughter.  On the caller ID it said, FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.  She told them this was not her phone number.  When my mom told me about this I told her it was probably a scam.  The federal government doesn't call from toll-free numbers.  We called the number and asked what kind of business they were.  We set my phone to record after dialing the number. They asked for the last four digits of her social security number.  When my mom refused to give it, they said they can't look up what they were calling without it.  I got on the phone and asked the guy why he would need my mom's social security number when he was supposedly looking for my daughter.  I also demanded to know what kind of business they are.  He told me they are an onlline lender called One Click Cash.  I then asked him why their phone number showed up on caller ID as FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.  He got pissy with me and said, "no it didn't."  I said, "it sure did, I am looking at the caller ID right now."  "NO IT DIDN'T, OUR NUMBER SHOWS UP AS ONE CLICK CASH."  I again said, "yes, it did, sir.  I'm telling you, I have the phone in my hand and the ID says FEDERAL GOVERNMENT."  'Well, what number is it?"  I replied that it is 800-348-9418.  "That is our number, but you are lying about what the caller ID says, because our number does NOT show up as anything except One Click Cash."  So, I said, "listen, I am looking at it, and I am telling you I am looking at it, and you are sitting there arguing with me and calling me a liar.  You must no be a very reputable business..."  he kept trying to interrupt me..."Sir, are you going to let me finish?  I think you better put your supervisor on the phone."  He keeps trying to tell me there isn't one available.  I told him, "look, I work in customer service, I know how this works.  You are in a call center and all you have to do is raise your hand to call a supervisor over."  He then says, "Well, this is not a customer service place, this is a collections place, and we don't work that way.  If you want to speak to a manager you have to leave a message with your number to call you back."  I replied, "hmmmm.  I find that interesting.  If you are the collections side of things that makes it doubly important to have s supervisor readily available.  And great try in getting a phone number from me for you to call.  That's not going to happen."  I asked the guy what the direct line to his supervisor or manager is and he said, "how the hell should I know?  I'll have to transfer you and you can hope they answer the phone, and if they don't, you'll have to leave a message."  I told the guy, "I think you people are a scam, and you are probably doing business without a licensing to lend..."  CLICK.  He hangs up on me.  My daughter has no knowledge of this company and has not taken out any payday loans ever.  And I believe her since my daughter is not a liar, makes an insane amount of money at her job, AND if she ever needed to borrow money, she would come to me for it.  She recently applied online for a car loan through well-known dealerships, and ever since she has been receiving calls, and so have all people listed as references.  I spoke with the police who said these people pay good money to buy people's information and then try to extort money from family members by squeezing them and saying their family member is in trouble and if this small debt isn't paid they are going to jail for fraud.  Some people fall prey to it because they panic and are afraid their family member will go to jail for not paying a bill.  DO NOT GIVE THEM INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE.  If you feel you have a legitimate debt, tell them to tell YOU that last four of your social, or other info they have and if it is correct, you will speak with them.  Don't fall victim to yet another scam!  Even if you do owe them money, and I learned this after speaking with the police and filing a report, having a past due or unpaid bill is not illegal.  You cannot be charged with fraud for not paying your bill.  No one is going to come to your house and arrest you (and this is a common tactic they try).  Reputable debt collectors are 1) Not permitted to contact you at work.  2) The only legal action a reputable debt collector will threaten you with would be small claims court.  3) Swearing at you and yelling at you on the phone is harassment, and reputable debt collectors will not do this.  4) Reputable debt collectors will not spoof numbers and bounce their numbers around the country, and they most certainly will NOT put FEDERAL GOVERNMENT on their caller ID to try to intimidate the person into giving up their information.

Like the "Receptionist", we were also plagued with calls from this company.  They would call and ask for the employee several times a day.  I told them not to call here; to take our number off their list.  They said they would call a thousand times a day until we let them talk with this employee.  I told them I had contacted the FTC & our Attorney General (which is definitely the right thing to do), they became very ugly.  I had a 50 second message on our voice mail that was so vulgar, I could not bring myself to listen to the entire diatribe.  They were vicious, including a statement that they were coming to get me - and do things to me personally.  Horrible, horrible people!  Do not go to an online company and ask for a payday advance - I know that is how this started!

Called by EJ with One Click from 800-349-9418 ex. 815. He told me that my mother used me as a reference because she couldn't take calls herself (not true). Asked me to write down his number and have her call them back. He wouldn't explain why other than it was personal information.

I did business with this company, After total amount was paid in full they kept doing an ACH debit from my checking account, I asked bank to stop releasing funds but they wanted me to do a stop payment which cost 35.00  I asked oneclickcash to stop and they refused.  i ended up closing account and opening new checking and they still have the Gall to call me and leave threatening messages.  I keep waiting for them to show up at my front door which would be a bad mistake...  If you are smart.  Never to business with ONECLICKCASH.com   no matter how desperate you are
